The last thread ran for just over a year. Papa just posted that he's going to have them lock it. As of right this minute, there are 5,120 replies on it.
This new thread will run just over TWO years.
Let's have a pool to guess how many replies will post at sailing time (5:00 p.m. on October 14, 2006).
E-mail me your guesses & I'll keep them until then. Maybe we'll put together some kind of prize, reward, whatever.

To prevent people from pushing numbers or so I would say you pick a date/time sometime before the cruise -say, two or three weeks prior- without publishing that exact date.

Scott and I have been looking through our pictures of this cruise and the last one... we got some nice ones. I need to put some of them into my Photobucket account and when I do, I can share them with you guys.
Maybe then you'll say..."oooh, yeah! I remember seeing those guys!" How funny that we were right there with you, in the same hall, next door neighbors, even! and we didn't even know you... it'll all come together in 10/06!
I'm finding that subscribing to this thread has really helped to ease the Disney withdrawal, to stabilize my inner ear (the "boat" stopped "moving" about 2 days ago!) and to really get me psyched for 10/06! I'm still thinking how to finagle a Disneyland trip or two in '05, in celebration of the 50th... have a biz trip to LA in January, so I may drop in on the Mouse for a brief visit. But, as you know, nothing matches the enchantment of the Magic on the open sea..... aaah. 729 days doesn't sound that far away!

Thank you for the Happy birthday wishes (a little sad....first one w/out my Mom) - But I am concentrating on "positives" and can't wait to cruise again!

Made our deposit today to DU for October 14, 2006, Cruise!!! (Had to call papa for help because I had no internet access and didn't have DU's # and today was the last day! Thanks Mike)
Anyway, for our Fourth Disney Cruise we have for the Fourth time the best room on the best deck on the best ship (all subjective, of course) - Room 2064!!
I was so afraid one of you guys would steal our old room from us but you didn't, so thanks.
Eric - I'll be sending our email shortly with all our info And we would be honored to dine with you guys again. Belated birthday wishes to Anja.
Painted the den today. Am exhausted. Still have one wall to go with second coat. Thank God for Leftovers because I'm not cooking nuthin!

This week we got some nasty mail in our letterbox: Our statements from MasterCard and Amex I hate those modern times. When I spent my first three weeks in the USA in August of '88 MasterCard needed well into December to bill everything.
On Tuesday I received my Amex statement already showing our transactions with CokiDive on St Thomas - That was quick
Now everything we charged in the USA will be taken from our account automatically on Monday or Tuesday. And the MasterCard statement of today already bills us for all expenses with DCL.
But with the great Euro/Dollar conversion rate everything was sooooo cheap. Even our downpayment for the '06-cruise just translated into 406, which sounds so much nicer than $500
