Eric--- Sounds like a wonderful vacation you have planned. Are you going to line up a fall trip also?

Yup, in October, but we haven't decided yet on what to do. Possibilities are:
-Two weeks somewhere around the Mediterranean or the Canary Islands
-7 to 10 days exploring USA's Northeast (DC, NYC, Philly, Boston)
-Another trip to Thailand
We won't make a decision before May. This year our vacation time is distributed like this:
-2 weeks in April (Thailand)
-1 week in July (Vienna)
-2 weeks in October (Probably sun'n'fun at the beach-Anja's preference)
-1 week in December (Probably visiting Anja's family, but a week in NYC may be an option too)

The remaining vacation days we will use for a couple of extended weekends. I have an extra day this year, because on 03/01/05 I will be with my company for 10 years, which brings me to 32 days (MON-FRI). Anja has only 29, but also received an extra day for the late- and nightshifts she did last year, which brings her to 30.

Mike--- I didn't realize that Tennessee didn't have any state income tax. We are also waiting for all our W-2 forms.

We don't have state income taxes here in Florida either! After growing up in IL, it's great here in FL with no state income taxes. Some people complain about the tourists here in FL, but I say "keep 'em coming" because they help to pay taxes (hotel taxes, this tax, that tax, etc).

As for Amazing Race, I definitely agree that Adam & Rebecca need to go. They do not work together at all. Chris says that they should have realized that they shouldn't be together a LONG time ago!!! I have to say that I'm a reality show junkie!! I like a lot of them, not all, but several. Right now, Amazing Race is my favorite though!!

We are anticipating another 8 inches through tonight. We will have to start raking the roof soon.. It is very quiet here at work, but, unlike Peter I do not have the day off.

On the Amazing Race, I hope Kris & Jon take the money. They are very respectful of all the different cultures and especially to each other. Get rid of the Prima Donna if I heard her one more time talk about <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008_ZNxdm813' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/10/10_2_5.gif' border=0></a> I would have lost my mind.

Fiona and Jim would like to join us on the Panama Cruise, we are keeping our fingers crossed that they can come. We had so much fun in October hanging out together..

Guess I better find something to do ( at least until lunch time)

By the way to all my Amazing Race/Survivor friends the new Amazing Race begins March 1 and 1 of the teams is Rob/Amber from Survivor. I have mixed feelings re this. I both like and dislike him(more like than not) but definetely dislike her. Hopefully we'll see them for a few weeks and then they'll get eliminated. Maybe they should keep him and let her go home. Now do they really need the money - she just won 1 million dollars and they both won 2 cars. Please.....

Arlene ... Rob & Amber on AR ... pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeease. Talk about being greedy ... for money and TV time. How come we haven't heard much about their wedding?

Anyone know when the next Survivor is? and where? that's my addiction.

Ave ... when did you get the postcard from the Castaway Club? I must say I'm a little disappointed in them cause I have 2 membership #'s and can't seem to get thru to them no matter what I do to combine all my cruises on to one #....not that they do a point system or anything. I've heard that other lines do more for return cruisers than Disney does. I know, I know

Fionna and Jim-- I just got an email from All Seasons travel that they were able to get cabins for the Panama canal cruise. Apparently people are beginning to cancel.
