Thanks wilderness girl for the number boost.

Mike---Congrats on #500!!

wildernessgirl--- Wow!! Walking at 7 1/2 months! I do not envy you that one. I have no doubt she keeps you on your toes.

Congratulations on 'DanandScotting' #500, Mike :teeth:

Jim,
we didn't do anything strange with that canoe: We just hit a long log which was a couple of inches under the surface broadside at a relative high speed and the current was pushing us additionally. When I tried to paddle away from the darn thing, I may have used too much 'thrust' and we tipped.

Greetings from the other Germs  We called them last night to congratulate Kerstin on her birthday. It lead to Anja and Kerstin chatting for more than an hour ;) And a firm decision to meet very soon :Pinkbounc :bounce:
Kerstin is still very busy at the office and as she can only access the internet from there, it will be some time before she starts posting.

Viking - I just sent you an e-mail regarding the other 17 people in our group. I'll tell them all about this thread and let them decide.

Scootersmom- hopefully our two sons will hit it off on the cruise. I asked him about joining the kids thread and he just looked at me strangely and said maybe??? We are traveling with a big group, 9 of whom are kids. Nick, my son is the oldest and will be the only one in the teen club. Looking at your adorable pictures, we have something else in common, I have a Cassie too. She's six though.

padisneyfan - nice to see we're just right across the river from you. (actually across the river down rte 30 then rt 222 to rt 322) but you get what I mean. Enjoy this nice weather while we can

Mike sent you our cell phone number.

Am so glad that it's election day. The front page of our paper has a score sheet for the electoral college votes! It will be over (I hope) tonight.

Fiona

Something strange is going on.......I posted earlier today and I was positive it appeared on the thread, but now I see we have absolutely no postings during the late morning and mine is missing. I'm just wondering if I got censored AGAIN (!) since the comment I made just might possibly be taken the wrong way. Foot in mouth disease strikes again! All I said was that if Eric didn't want to give out candy for Halloween he could always hand out some of those cute little bottles that he brought to the sailaway party! Now I see my post is totally gone. Guess I'm in trouble again.......

Jeanne,
as long as they don't censor away your vote, everything should be fine:teeth:
BTW, we once again didn't win the lottery, so you probably have to find another buyer for your house;)

To everyone:
I just sent another update - The Third in less than week:eek:
Achtung ;) This time there are two files attached to the mail: One is The List, the other one is The History Of Cruisetoberfest
Check it out ::yes::

Haven't checked this thread in a while, but I did just check out the new list!
What is up with the Ohioans???GO BROWNS!!!!!

Born and raised in Cleveland I was, still a true Buckeye at heart, even though its been nearly 16 years since we moved.

Okay, one more time,

GO BROWNS!!!!! :jumping4:

Eric, Great job on the list and the "History of Cruistoberfest".

Love all the Halloween pics!

jeanneg, What are we going to do with you? Censored again!:p When you post an alarm must go off at DU headquarters.

Well I went and voted this afternoon. Wonder how long it will take to remove all the roadside signs. When I got home there were 7 recorded messages on my answer machine from candidates asking for my vote. Machines taking to machines. Can anyone say "Delete". LOL:smooth:

Got to run.
Later,
Avé

What can I say, Ave.......whenever my kids get in trouble they say "We can't help it, Mom....we had you as a role model!"

I just checked out the new list and I am extremely curious about Tim's profession (curlyq's DH).........since stripping is definitely a graphic art, this could be a very interesting cruise......can we get him to perform on karoake night? I know of an eager back-up singer for "Dancing Queen".......

Had to stand in line in the rain for 2 hours to vote, then I got to babysit my DGS who was home sick and didn't get home until 6:15 in rush hour traffic. Yesterday was just as hectic and I had to come home in rush hour then, too. I'm beginning to wonder if I am really retired.

Colleen -- I don't have a very good impression of SSR either, but we make a point of visiting all new DVC resorts within a year of their opening so we will see what we think in April and I will let you know then.

Mike -- sent you a PM.

Just got home from voting. Over 2 hours and we got in line before 4:00. Now I'm starving!!

We had two messages when we got home about who to vote for. I told Bill "Darn, we should have come home first, I voted for the wrong people" :teeth:

Wow, we didn't have to wait in line at all to vote. We walked in, signed our names and voted. That was it. Now the wait begins......

Reneé

Thank you everyone for the congrats. It was truly awesome to hear our school announced as State champions.

Eric, thanks so much for the new list and the history lesson.

Jean, I don't think I ever congratulated you on your retirement. I log on every couple of days and keeping up with you guys has become my part-time job.

For any one else I left out, congrats, welcome, thank you.

The new pics of the kids, grandkids are tooooo cute. If I can ever get to learn how to post pics I'll add some.

Please tell me we'll never see the "Dancing Queen" again, that would be just too scary.

Felt She had Great potential .... To Funny   :wave2:

jeanneg,
I was just reading over these posts and came to yours and started laughing so loud, I probably woke the kids. I ran to get my husband, Tim, the graphic arts stripper to show him your post. After turning 5 shades of red, he asked who was I "talking" with. I told him lots of people on the cruise we are going on. He turned another 3 shades darker. He prefers the technical job description of "lithographer" . Last cruise you should have seen him do Bon Jovi's "You Give Love a Bad Name." All I'll say is, is that the boy band beat the girl band that night and the girl band was dressed in towels. He did put on quite a show. ::yes:: :earseek: ::yes::
