Jim & Fiona,
good to hear that you made it back safely to Canada. Thanks again for your wonderful help in getting us to she ship and back ::yes::
Over here we're down in the one-digit-rate - Fortunately Degrees Celsius (40ies in Fahrenheit). Add the constant rain and the overcast skies and you can easily image where we would rather be
We made it through 4 weeks in the USA and on teh ship without getting a cold - A first time for us!!!!

Dale,
welcome to the group
send your info to cruisetoberfest@yahoo.com
Names & occupation of the adults, names of the kids, stateroom, seating session, hometown, special occasion to be celebrated (if any). I'll send the first edition of the list this week.

We're home finally.

I'm thrilled to be home. I'm making Hamburger Helper for supper as a Special Treat. I also got out all of my Rolling Stone and Jimi Hendrix disks, cracked open the hidden chocolate bar stash, started the lava lamp, made a double coffee with real caffeine in it and closed my door. Leave a message.

Jim.

Hi Jim,

Hidden chocolate bar stash ??? I know how much chocoloate <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/12/12_4_48.gif' border=0></a><a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/12/12_4_48.gif' border=0></a><a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/12/12_4_48.gif' border=0></a>you had after our night at the MNSSHP... Did Fiona share her stash with you?? I was a good dubie ( even though I wanted to keep my chocolate) and gave kevin mine last night after unpacking it, I did of course keep the skittles.

1st day back at work, boy was everyone glad to see me, this was the first time they had been alone at the lab since they started.

Tonight it is time to switch clothes in the house from summer wear to the winter wear. Time to get back to work.

Bye, Kim

Did Fiona share her stash with you??

She gave me two teeny tiny small bags of M&M's peanuts (there were like four peanuts in each bag) the first time and then told me that they were all gone the second time I asked. I suspected a chocolate grab at the time but didn't say anything that could have been held against me in a court of law. I figure sooner or later she'll come looking for chocolates or something sweet that will have suddenly 'disappeared'. :)

The MNSSHP handouts are all packed away in a locked suitcase, which happens to still be in the van which we didn't unload last night.

However, it never hurts to have optional chocolate selections just in case there is an emergency. Cookies also. And maybe sweets too. And just in case the stash location is forgotten then it'll be a pleasant surprise on Discovery Day... just pick off the fluffy bits and you're in business.

Jim.

I've ordered my new computer so hopefully, by the end of the week I will have it. So only can look at the disboards from work.

I transfered my reservation to AAA on Friday. I called them and was able to keep my price and $200 credit from DCL, plus AAA gave me an additional $150 on board credit. I thought they took $150 off the price but was the credit. Either way works fine for me.

We also enjoyed cruising with everyone which is why we signed up to do it again in 2006. That will be our 4th cruise with the group.

Glad that everyone made it home safe. We did enjoy seeing some of you at WDW post cruise Peter and Jen, Cathy and Art, and Kathy and Mike. I guess we missed everyone else. We decided to not attend MNSSHP this year. I just wasn't that impressed with it last year. I love Mickeys Christmas Party but didn't care for the Halloween. Different strokes for different folks.

We are debating about going again in early Dec. I have reservations at CBR, but still not completely sure we want to go. AirTran has great air fares so need to decide soon.

I finally cooked a meal at home on Sunday so I guess my vacation is officially over.

Hi all -

We were on the 10/02 cruise also and saw all of the neat door magnet and stuff when we first got on board. Couldn't figure out what was going on. Then, our dinner partners (Hi Tracy and Bill) told us about the Cruisetoberfest that we were in the midst of. Hope everyone had a good time and a safe trip home. We are alos booked on the 10/14/06 cruise so we will be part of Cruisetoberfest IV. Looking forward to meeting you then.

See ya in less than two years!!!

Dale

Hi Dale! Apparently you and Carol got home alright. How was the wedding? Did you take a nap :teeth: Glad to see you on the board. Seems you found the Cruise Meets! For those of you who didn't meet Dale on board, he was the one trying to get in the DCL commercial for the dad who is sleeping everywhere LOL.

Tracy

Welcome Dale!Glad to have you with us (again!)

Arlene...just click on one of the smilies to the left of the area you write your reply in. The smilie will appear at the end of the line you are currently typing.

Will in Just under 2 years...

JIM TOO FUNNY ...

Peter

Jim. So glad to hear you remembered to unplug the lava lamp before you left for the cruise. There were so many warnings on the one my DD got re: risk of fire, I haven't let her turn the thing on in months! LOL
Welcome dcannon101! Great to have you with us! Was this your first Disney Cruise?

Halloween is just around the corner, guess what DS will be????
A Pirate!!!pirate: RRRRRRR!

We got all our pictures developed! Got some great shots of Antigue and Coki Beach in St. Thomas. But I didn't get enough shots of people/things on board.
Mike and Art, did you get some good shots at the Resort?

My mother -in-law is not doing well. She is not expected to live much longer. She was tranfered to a nursing home from the hospital. But we are in the process of bringing her home. She lives with her husband about a mile from my house. Hopefully, she will be home by Thursday. :(

Glad everyone made it home safe and sound.

Goodnight,
Avé

Ave - So sorry to hear about your MIL. Know that you and the family will be in our prayers.

MNSSHP - is Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. You get to go trick or treating around the Magic Kingdom. You can also go on rides as well. Would love to go to the Christmas party but that's not going to happen this year.

Just to set the record straight -- I did share my bags of candy with Jim but he did get his own bag which is safely hidden away. He claims he didn't get any M & M's peanuts but he just ate them before we'd even left MK!!

Must go find something to eat for dinner. Am actually feeling hungry which I hope is a good sign.

Andy - loved Karaoke with you - had never been to it before but do plan on making it again next year. Marianne you were great too. Now Jody (?) well let's just say that she'd had plenty of shots before we got up there.

Take care everyone.

Fiona

Ave you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Jim lava lamps make me have flashbacks to the 60's. Been there done that tie dyed the tee shirts.

Kathy is good about sharing her candy. I like the peanut m&m's and she likes the plain ones.

I didn't take pictures of the beach resort as I was blinded by the light. Kathy said it was beautiful. Mike

Eric - Do you need me to send another email with our occupations or do you still have that info? I forgot to include it with the two mails I sent you last night. (Thanks Renee and Marianne for help with my email problems.)

Welcome Aboard to Michael and Scott and dcannon101.

Dave and Ellen (Cheeseplease) - Hope you guys have recovered from your "Missing the Magic Flu". Two years is a long time, perhaps there will be a local tri-state or Baltimore meet before then. It would be nice to see you guys again.

Dan - You are never a pain! (See, I really am nice.) Did you get my latest email?

Andy - I am looking forward to 2006 and hearing you and Marianne do Karaoke. And Kathy and Dan we wanna hear you guys too!. :p Arlene - Hope you are feeling better asap. (We don't have to wait for any big meet, we could get together much sooner and easier!)

Fiona and Jim - (So Jim has a sweet spot for chocolate and Hamburger Helper? Hmmmm) Glad to hear we might be neighbors. If you are in 2062, that is where Mike and Kathy were for C-2.

PaDisneyFan (Nancy and Norm) - Good luck with the new computer. You are making me rethink my DU ressies. $150 shipboard credit with AAA? That's a whole lot better than my $75 discount with DU. However, I like that DU keeps track of prices and informs ME of any price reductions rather than me trying to keep track of things and having to tell AAA of a deduction in price.

Ave - Our thoughts and prayers are with you and Mark.

Hello  to everyone else. Sitting here watching the twelfth inning of the Yankee-Red Sox series. Will it ever end???????

Ave, our thoughts and prayers are with you and Mark.

So Casey is going to be a pirate, eh? I got him a couple more swords for his collection. PM me your address and I'll forward them on to him.

Fiona and Jim, thanks again for the wine, etc. We didn't drink it on the ship, but we're planning to have it this weekend when we get a little warm up on the patio!

Eric, in case I haven't said it before, thanks for being the keeper of the lists. I didn't think I would use it on the cruise or after but have used it many times.

Don't know how much longer I can stay up, but I'd like to see the Red Sox win.

OK Eric,

I realize it may be hard to imagine anyone doing work in Vegas but I did. Four days, 48 hours of work. Two hours at the bar and no gambeling ;) ;) OK maybe I dropped a few quarters in at the bar but it was a break even trip.:D :D

Any ideas on the name for the kids thread. I want to ensure there's no way it get's confused with the current thread. Maybe just "Kids Cruisetoberfest IV" without the date. We can list the date in the first post. My kids are excited about the prospect. Elyse already has 180+ posts on all the kids threads since I registered her last week.

Just kidding, Van ;) I believe you.
I would call the kids' thread 'Cruisetoberkids' as this is the name for the yahoo-account as well (Cruisetoberkids@yahoo.com). As soon as I have finished the first edition of The List, I will do a new blank kids' list and send it to my fellow listkeeper Ciara.

Rosemary,
I already copied everything from COB2's list.

Mike,

Was it the light or the optional bathingsuits ??? Hmmmmmmm

I have a few pictures of our group and the beach, I will send then to you guys if you want..

Bye, Kim

Ave: Sorry to hear about your MIL. Our thoughts will be with all of you...

Arlene

Kim I did get some pictures on the beach, just not of the ladies soaking up the sun. I do have a turtle picture and some of us going to the beach. Thanks for the offer. Since this is a family board, I will not post the turtle picture. Mike

Ave--- So sorry to hear about your MIL. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Rosemary--- I think that this cruise is going to be very popular and would be amazed if the price drops. I always figure that someone on this thread would let us know if there was a price reduction.

Andy--- Look out for us ladies who are going to get together and do a group song. We have 2 years to practice.

Eric-- Until I get my new computer I am unable to send out any email on aol. Am I ok for next cruise. Our only change is the room number is 6636. Down one room, I think Tracy is next door to me.

Mike and Art will never be the same after this year's beach trip. Each cruise they will expect the same type of beach.
