Hello everyone,

We had so much fun this cruise. Andy you were great. I had never seen Karaoke before and did not know how it went. I loved it.

Marianne, you were outstanding! Did you know that Art went out when we got back to land and bought the Patsy Cline CD? We all have enjoyed it.

Hi Bette, the "stuff" you asked us to bring home with us is now in the suitcase waiting to be taken to the storage barn for use in two years. We were happy to do it. Oh, Stacey took the eyeglasses for Katie home with her to give to Katie's class for Halloween. By the way will the "stuff" be ok in the heat of summer or the cold of winter. The storage barn does not have humidity control.

Nancy, it was so funny running into you and Norm TWICE at the parks. We got to listen to the Beach Boys concert but the line was just too long to stand in.

I am back at work now taking care of the babies. Nurses for Newborns is now under the Vanderbilt umbrella (sp?) so I don't think I have to worry so much if the Titans win or not.:)

Renee, Mike is still talking about Pineapple Beach. That was fun and the guys were entertaining. :teeth:

Take care everyone else, Kathy, with a K

You guys are all the best!!!! Do you all know that???

You say the sweetest things.

I'm having a birthday party in November. I'm thinking of renting a karaoke machine. I'd better be careful, though. It may just be cheaper to buy one!! Then we're in trouble!

Marianne

Hey twins!

In the group photo, which of you is wearing yellow & which is wearing white?

I'm scrapping the photos and (I don't know what's wrong w/me) I just can't figure out who's in the picture!! :upsidedow

Marianne

Marianne, I am in yellow between Arlene and Cathy(wearing sunglasses). Sorry I missed your IM, I was watching Extream Makeover -home edition. I love that show!

Ummm...Eric...how come I'm not on the list? I sent my info a week ago!

That show's one of my favorites, too. That guy, Ty, is a crazy person!

Heidi watches another show on TLC--Clean Sweep. They send two or three people to your house to just throw things away!

I wish someone would come here & gut out my house. It's the only way I'd get it clean!

You are on The List anyway - Everybody I mentioned is, the post was just a reminder. You haven't yet sent a mail to the new account to enable me to simply snatch your adress for the adressbook.

Marianne: Sing out a song for me on your b-day in nov.
You were great and surprised all of us. Keep it up.!!!

I have a karaoke machine that is hooked up to my stereo, like cd player is. Its a pioneer unit. They cost around $300 for a good unit. If you want a place to get the equipment and thousands of cds I will email you the website. This is where I get all of my stuff.

Peter: WE will do it again in 06. Maybe we can get a group of us togeter again in spring of summer.

Andy

Hi Andy,
your either up very early or very late :jester:

As far as I know, there are also Karaoke-DVDs available. Perhaps you want to have a look at amazon.com. Additionally the Playstation 2 with the sing-along-package is a Karaoke-machine as well - And I'm sure David & Heidi would love to have a PS2 ;)

I just found out that Yahoo has an import/export-function in the adressbook and simply imported the 'old' adressbook from the antiguaorbust-account. This will speed up things considerably. So List #1 should be out very soon ::yes::

You guys are doing a great job of spending my money!!! :teeth:

Eric--I'm not so sure I'm ready to upgrade the kids to PS2. But now that I know that, maybe one of their friends will let me borrow theirs for the party.

I'm going to check the library for CD's.

Also, I'm surprised a computer geek like yourself didn't know about the import function before. :badpc:

Gotta get to work. Chat w/you later.
Marianne

Good morning Cruisetoberfesters (?) We are up early this morning. Mike has an early morning appointment with his orthopediac (?) doctor and Katie will be here soon too. I think we will be eating at McDonalds this morning.

Marianne and Andy, this Karaoke thing makes me want to check on it further. My daughters used to do Karaoke and I didn't know about it. Actually, there are a lot of things they did as teens that I am just now finding out about.:earseek:

The rain is heading this way. I have to find the umbrellas because we were so sure of the weather in Fla. ;) and on the cruise that we took them out of the car and I can't remember where they are.

Take care, Kathy

Eric: Yes, I was up late. I could'nt sleep so I did the boards. I think
I missed the roll of the ship. Although, Arlene said that I slept very well satnite to sun
and she was up. < Read as SNORE>. I dont know, I never heard it :)

Marianne: I dont think the library wil have karaoke discs. They
usually cost about $20-$25 each depending on the publisher.
Most music stores don't even have them. Or if they do, its very sparce at best.

Kathy: Sometimes its best NOT to fimd out what they use to do.
That way you can sleep beter.

Andy

We are finally home! I'm now sick with the cold that Jim seems to have left the ship with. He spent the week at WDW hocking and blowing.

We are both looking forward to cruising with everyone again in 2006. I had asked Jim if he wanted to cruise in 2005 but he doesn't want to go without his closest 150 friends!

Colleen -- Am so glad that you will be crusing with us in 2006. How's Josh doing?

Tuli -- We will be neighbours on the ship -- I believe that we have cabin 2062 -- we have to check the confirmation to make sure.

Dan & Scott - glad that you will join us again.

Ave - Hope your MIL is doing ok.

Got back to the office to a new operating system on my computer. Everything is in small type font now. Jim would just say that I'm getting older and therefore can't see as well!

Many thanks Viking to not advancing our ages on the list just quite yet. Not yet ready to hit the 40!!

Must get back to work -- desk is buried.

Fiona

We're home finally.

Are we the last to report in?

The temperature was 25 F when we drove in to the driveway of Paradise Villa early this morning. (I'm now sitting here in track pants, a hoodie and my typing gloves. I've been rummaging around for the thermal undies but haven't found them yet. I found the battery powered ones but I'm not that desperate yet.) We didn't even bother unpacking the van.

The Good News is that I've pretty well recovered from the head cold that started on the ship, but I still have another week or so to go before it's over with because Fiona has it now. :)

I'm thrilled to be home. I'm making Hamburger Helper for supper as a Special Treat. I also got out all of my Rolling Stone and Jimi Hendrix disks, cracked open the hidden chocolate bar stash, started the lava lamp, made a double coffee with real caffeine in it and closed my door. Leave a message.

Jim.

It was great seeing the return cruisers again and meeting our new friends. Traveling with 'the group' definetely makes the cruise a more fun experience. I dont think I could ever cruise again without you guys. Its so nice walking around the ship or doing an activity and running into someone you know.

Well it seems like I'm not the only one who left the ship with a cold. Thouht the worst of it was that I couldnt just go home and hibernate but had to suffer through it at my in laws house. All I wanted to do was sleep but that was impossible. My mother in law even used my cold as an excuse not to have cataract surgery the day after we left her. Oh well at least I was good for something.

Glad to finally be back at home but not back to work(todays my first day back). Lots of stuff waiting for me even though someone was supposed to be my back up. Oh well...

Happy belated birthday Anya and Barbara...

How do I change our DCL reservations to another agency? Do I have to have the reservation # before I do it? Please advise me...

By the way...How do you add smilies to your post???

Arlene

To our tablemates: totally enjoyed sitting with all of you guys. Do you guys want to hook up reservations again?

Hi all -

We were on the 10/02 cruise also and saw all of the neat door magnet and stuff when we first got on board. Couldn't figure out what was going on. Then, our dinner partners (Hi Tracy and Bill) told us about the Cruisetoberfest that we were in the midst of. Hope everyone had a good time and a safe trip home. We are alos booked on the 10/14/06 cruise so we will be part of Cruisetoberfest IV. Looking forward to meeting you then.

See ya in less than two years!!!

Dale
