Skim.

I grew up on 2%, then tried skim, did not notice a difference in taste, so switched. Funny thing to me is, now that I'm used to skim, I notice a huge difference and 2% tastes like cream to me. :crazy2:

I can tolerate 1%, but much prefer skim.

I chose 1% but we actually usually drink 1/2%. I love milk but can't make the transition to skim. It's just too watery for me.

We grew up drinking 2% but then my Mom switched us to Skim. Now, I couldn't go back because the thicker texture grosses me out. My son and I are the only ones who drink milk and we go through 2 gallons a week.

2% because DS needs the fat to help him put on weight, but I can't stand whole milk.

Whole milk here. I don't drink it, but I do use it for my froot loops in the morning and also to cook with. The other milk is yuk to me.

2% or 1%. DH bought skim before I lived with him, but I think it's such a ripoff, especially with its short expiration dates.

skim only for my family :thumbsup2

I voted 2% - but I can use skim for cereal as I usually don't drink the milk that's leftover after the cereal is gone anyway.

The restaurant where I work serves whole milk. Some people like it, but some change their order when I tell them it's whole.

When DH and I were first married we got milk from his uncle's dairy farm, straight from the cow, no pasteurizing or anything. It was warm when he brought it home. Took awhile to get used to the taste.

I like the taste of whole milk better but I drink skim because it's healthier.

We do skim here.

DD was putting on a little too much weight per Pediatrician. So we switched her from whole to skim, cut out her juice (she drinks water and eats two pieces of fruit a day). That did the trick!

When DD goes out to restaurant, she always asks for milk, she loves the whole. I think it is too heavy.

Give me a bag of Oreos and some skim milk and I'm the happiest person in the world. You had better not approach me when I have them, I don't share my oreos and milk.

Skim has the longest expiration date because there's no fat to go rancid. It also has the most protein.
