Yeaaaaah for Hunters Birthday!!
Yeaaaaah for 24 hours in the MK!!!
Yeaaaaaah, for finally getting to see the new FL!!!
Boooooo, for all the dang people!!
That's pretty much what we ran into while we were there, and we were there the 5th-16th, well before y'all were.
I think it will be a while before we do another family trip, probably a solo trip coming up, maybe even next May if I can swing it, but it may be next Oct. instead since I'm wanting to experience the Food and Wine.
Not sure if I'll like it better than Flower and Garden, I'm kinda doubting it. But! I still want to try it and hope that the weather will be nice and balance out not getting to see all the flowers.
I don't know.....the flowers are pretty special and make the park look soooo amazing, maybe I'll have to try going in the early spring and suffer all the spring breakers but have the beautiful weather and still get to see all the flowers
.
Sorry to ramble.
You know how we women are, we think outloud.
No need to apologize for rambling. I do it all the time. Saying stuff that I'm thinking 'cause it's easier to just say it outloud instead of keeping it all in. See, I'm rambling now.
I so wish that the Flower & Garden Festival would extend on out to the end of May. I always loved seeing those beautiful park grounds and topiaries.
Like mentioned... what a phenomenal way to be able to spend a 16th Bday!!
Those crowds look down right unbearable! I remember (barely) being at the
72hr party that DLR had for the opening of Captain EO way back when, I remember how crowded it was but when it got to be early in the morning it thinned out quite a bit...
I am sooo looking forward to reading how the rest of the 24 hrs went!! How fun!
Honestly, after the parade left, the crowds all shuffled in different directions so it wasn't bad. Now, later in the evening, it was horrible!
How fun that the 24 hour day was on his actual birthday!!!!!!!!!!! That makes for an extra special sweet 16. SWEET!
Loving the Duck Dynasty gear. I don't watch it but Evan is obsessed and would be over the moon to know that I know someone that knows them.
The peek window is cute! I do not remember that from the fall.
Hunter was very excited to be spending his 16th B-day at the Magic Kingdom and was even more excited when I told him about it being open for 24 hours.
Tell Evan that we see the Duck Commander crew out and about pretty often. If ya'll ever travel through Louisiana on I-20, you should make a stop at their warehouse. You may just see some of them there.
I just finished reading your trip report! Can't wait to read more!
Welcome! Welcome! Welcome! I hope to get an installment posted this afternoon. Or at least the Photopass pics. It all depends on how long I can keep my boss at bay.
OK, so I think I must have read this last night and got called away. What a fun way to spend a 16th birthday. I love those pictures of the castle. Just gorgeous. What a beautiful view!
As you well know, you can never ever have too many pictures of the castle.
I love this picture and I thought I commented on it. Am I going crazy? Let me check.
Nope you didn't but then you did. That make sense?

I thought that the picture turned out neat.
Dang! I can't send you a PM about the dresses until I have 10 posts. Two more to go!
Just post a couple of these or a

or possible a

here and you can p.m. me.
Great update! I love Hunter's birthday picture! What a goofball.
I had no idea they had a parade that early in the day. And, I love your sneak peeks at the Mine Roller Coaster. I can't wait to ride it one day!
Hunter is definitely a big goofball. I would much rather have a goofball than a stodgy old grump.
What a great way to spend your birthday! I can't wait to hear about the rest of Hunter's day.
Hope to get an installment up this afternoon....for sure the Photopass pictures.
16!
Can't think of a better place to celebrate a 16th birthday!
I totally forgot that you were there for the "all-nighter". You and everyone else! Man, it looked crowded!
Awesome castle pictures. Great photo will the parade float.
You know, I never noticed the view master in the Buzz Lightyear queue before the visit we made in July. Has it always been there???
The take-a-peek wall for the Mine Train is cool. I love the picture you took with the outline of the hole. Someday you will need to pair that with a picture of the completed attraction.
Yep, it was pretty crowded but the crowds did go all which-a-ways so it wasn't super crowded once everybody left.
Oooh I hadn't thought about pairing up two pictures. Gotta remember to do that.
Oh and I think that the View Master has always been there. Or has it?
Caught up through your links. Thanks!
I'm so glad you had a fantastic meal at
'Ohana. You posted some great food porn!
GRRRR on the couch hogs!

My husband and I often debate whether people are really that incredibly rude, or if they are just oblivious or stupid. In most cases of selfish behavior I think it is a combination, but really people, take a moment to look past your family to be considerate of others in your environment!
What a nice picture of you and John in the lounge!
I have never tried the Lapu Lapu, but I have heard that it is strong. One of my friends commented "Holy Alcohol Batman!"
Too funny about Hunter's Sprite. Didn't they know it was your drink that needed to be watered down, not his?

for Wishes!!! Dinner and a Show!
I think that people are just plain old stupid AND inconsiderate of others.
Oh I would have been saying "Holy Alcohol Batman" had I heard that phrase before. It was strong!
Nice update ! Wow MK looked crowded
I cant wait until they get the mine coaster done
I am anxious to see when the mine coaster will be finished! I wanna ride it right now. (Stompin' my foot.)
Of course the parade was for Hunter's birthday! But wow those crowds look horrendous.
Of course it was! They knew that there was a Sweet 16 year old in their midst.
Hey Lisa, I finally started my PTR..........

I tried to start it last night, but photobucket was NOT cooperating.
Does Photobucket ever cooperate?
The birthday whoopin' line made me

. Glad my family isn't the only ones who do that.

And MK did a whole parade just for Hunter's birthday too.
That is a whole lot of people in MK. Not that surprising given the promotion for the day. Can't wait to see the Duck Commander t-shirts, and watch the new episode tonight.

And I'm sure you are right about the reason for the cut-outs to see Dwarfs Mine Train progress, I saw several people trying to find ways to see in when I was there in December.
Birthdays are about the only time that whoopins take place in our house. I remember trying to take pictures of the new Fantasyland when we were there a couple of trips ago. I even climbed up to the tables on the balcony at Pinocchio's.
