1 Child and 10 Adults--A GG to Celebrate DD's 4th Bday :) TR Link is Posted

Paid in full rocks!!! Good for you!
I'm not sure I'm ready to enter the world of pin trading yet. I'm curious to hear about your experience.

Amanda

Thanks Amanda! It is such a great feeling to have the bill paid off! :goodvibes I will let you know how it goes, providing we do it! :rotfl: If DD is not ready (I may do it a few times possibly), than I will put the pins away for another trip.

I'm back!!! Sorry I've been MIA. Looking forward to catching up on your planning this afternoon when the kids are napping. I hope it's going well!!

HI Cheryl! I am glad you could come back. I put jumps for all the main updates so you can could skip through if you like. ;)

Yay for being paid in full! And for having MNSSHP tickets! You must be excited!

We'll be pin trading for the first time this trip as well. I got the kids disney lanyards at AC Moore (it's a craft store around here, not sure if they're elsewhere) for $1 each. We bought some for us in Disneyland, but they were considerably more expensive.

Hi Christa! I am so excited to have those two things off my list of things to do!

It will be interesting to see how the pin trading goes. DD likes things like that so I am hoping she gets into it. We will see...she can be shy some of the time. I will have to check Hobby Lobby and Micheal's to see either of them have them. If not, I read that the grocery stores down there in FL carry them so if we do not use GG we might be able to pick one up then. :goodvibes

Congrats on paying your trip off! It's such a great feeling...feels so much more real!! ;)

Great pins you received from Ebay! I too ordered pins from ebay to trade..too bad the kiddos want to keep them all!! haha

That postcard is super cute! How sweet!

Awesome you got the trip paid in full Stephanie!!! That's always such a great feeling!!! :woohoo::woohoo:

It must be so fun getting the MNSSHP tickets!!!! I would LOVE to take the kids to that someday! It looks like so much fun and what a cool way to spend a evening in the MK!!! I am so happy for you guys!!!:yay:

I really like all those pins you got too! I debated pin trading for Gabe this year and I wished I would have, next trip both kids should be old enough so I am looking forward to seeing how Lilian likes it!!! What a great variety of pins you got off of Ebay!!

It is such a great feeling! For me, it made the trip seem so much more real to see the invoice say paid in full! :cool1:

Thank you! The batch of pins we got are great--a few we want to keep and others we are okay with parting with. :rotfl: I can easily see how addicting this could be!

:lovestruc Becky and Brent were so kind to do this for us--we really appreciated it!

It felt like we reached a huge milestone, having the trip paid off a few months early! Such a relief and it also makes it feel like our trip will be here before we know it! :goodvibes

I am really excited for MNSSHP. We were discussing what we want to wear to it this afternoon. So much fun!

I am going to give it a go with Lilian, I will let you know how it goes. The eBay set of pins is great! We got some good ones and it makes it MUCH more affordable to do it that way. LMK if you want the seller's information. I would be happy to pass it along. :goodvibes

Hey everyone! Thanks for sticking it out with me. This weekend I hope to finish up Lilian’s latest dress and if I am able to do so, I will post an update. I also hope to start her autograph book. :goodvibes

Meanwhile, in my head I am working on our itinerary and also food choices. Lately, I am mulling over snack choices, because we DISers like to think about all things Disney. I cannot remember any snacks we got last time, though I am sure we did. So, I have a question/challenge for you. Please name your favorite snack in each park and your all time favorite snack! Thank you for playing along!! :thumbsup2

You might also notice a little something new in my signature…:rolleyes1

Yay for cruising!!!! :thumbsup2 Congrats! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Anxious to hear what you select for snacks. Never fails, we end up going to Goofy's to use them on our last day. This year since I am dieting, I was thinking to use them for my breakfast....yogurt, fruit, etc.

A CRUISE !!! Sounds like the perfect graduation present.

As far as snacks, how can you ever go wrong with a Mickey ice cream bar or a Mickey rice krispie.

This past trip I had a napoleon from the bakery in France/Epcot. It was delicious, and at almost $4, it was a great use of a snack credit. :thumbsup2

Hey!! First of all!! 2-2-2!! :cool1:2 months, 2 weeks & 2 days:cool1: Woo Hoo!!

Second, YIPPIE:banana: for the cruise!! You guys are going to have a great time! I can't wait to hear all about that!

Third, my favorite snack is the chocolate mousse at the Boulangerie Patisserie in France. The last few years we have used most of our snack credits to feed Emily because she wasn't on the DDP. We'd get her grapes, carrots, uncrustables pb&j, etc!

Joining in! Sorry it took me so long.
First off, I noticed in your sigg you are celebrating your 2s today. (2 months, 2 weeks, 2 days!:cool1:)
Lilian is so cute! She looks really excited for the trip. How sweet of Becky and Brent to send her a postcard.
Here's help with your DHS dilema.
Cape May dinner- We did this countless times when we lived in Orlando and then we did it every trip for years. Very good and lots of choices! You'll still like it even if you aren't big buffet people.
Hollywood Vine (or something close, or very far from that)- We did this for dinner on 4th of July a few years ago. We were very impressed with it. There's so much food.
Sorry, I probably didn't help you get rid of anything. Maybe Sci-fi? I think Lilian will enjoy eating in a car. Or if you don't do a sit down at DHS Pizza Planet is one of our favorite CSs. They even have some arcade games that are free that go non-stop.
Favorite rides:
Epcot- Soarin' is our must do. Actually, it's our must do 3 times.
Figment, Turtle talk, and Nemo are all fun for Lilian and they don't have long lines.
We missed Illuminations in November but saw it from the boardwalk almost every night during our couples' trip. Make sure you watch it from the Mexico side of WS. The Canada side has way too much smoke. We watch it from Mexico every trip and then we do the Donald Duck ride and Maelstorm with out a wait before going to FW for EMH!
Magic Kingdom- So hard!!!
Haunted Mansion and I'm going to say Buzz but there are so many great things.
Peter Pan, Pooh, IASW, Splash... I could go on and on. So many great things. If you want I could help you with your raid plan for this park. We get everything done here with it.
DHS- Toy Story Mania and the drawing class.
AK- Safari and I'd say Dinosaur for the rest of the family.
I think Amy will be getting some pins for her birthday! She LOVES to pin trade. She has about 3 that she won't trade and the rest she exchanges every 5 minutes. Emily loves all her pins so I think I'm going to get her some junk ones to trade.
Snacks-
Epcot- Sunshine Seasons (in the land) has great food! It's my favorite CS!!! Also it's a great CS for the DP. The strawberry shortcake and chocolate cake our delishous and make a great snack credit.
You can't go wrong with a Mickey icecream bar.
MK- A lot of disers sware by the dole whip. I've never had one (have to fix that, right?) but I'm looking forward to trying it.
DHS- Starring rolls everyone likes the cupcakes there.
Also you can get a popcorn bucket. They're $4.50, everyone can snack on it all day, and they you have a nice sovie.
Congrats on being paid in full.
Can't wait to see your countdown calendar and autograph book. I need to make a new one of both soon. I started a Disney drawer and I keep buying things to put in it and I just made a new trip notebook. A new trip is on the horizon.:goodvibes
Have a great day!

Hi Steph-sorry I havent posted in awhile. Congrats on having your trip paid in full:banana: thats exciting. A cruise graduation celebration:woohoo: thats great!

I can say I honestly did not plan our snacks very well last time so we used them on drinks and slushies for the most part. I did love the slushies in MK and Epcot. They were so refreshing on those super hot days we had. I am interested to hear what snacks you get because I am hoping to use mine more wisely next trip.

We'll be pin trading for the first time this trip as well. I got the kids disney lanyards at AC Moore (it's a craft store around here, not sure if they're elsewhere) for $1 each. We bought some for us in Disneyland, but they were considerably more expensive.

just something to KIM...the lesser expensive pin lanyards you can buy whereever to not comapre to the srtonger more hefty fabric on the Disney one's which are really degined to hold several chunky pins...for a little kid..w/ just a few pins the $1.00 should be fine...

to answer your SNACK challange this is a challange for me as well...I really need to try some new things!

but my favorite all time snack is a Mickey shaped rice krispie treat w/ the chocolate dipped ears.

things I'd like to try off the top of my head...

Tye-Dye Cheesecake from POP

Dole Whip in MK

Fudge from MK

read about some yummy tea drinks from AK...forget the specifics though

School Bread from Norway in Epcot

don't worry I will make a list to share later in my PTR ;)

So, I have a question/challenge for you. Please name your favorite snack in each park and your all time favorite snack! Thank you for playing along!! :thumbsup2

You might also notice a little something new in my signature…:rolleyes1

Hooray on the Graduation Cruise! That is so exciting!

Favorite Snacks

-EP - Soft pretzel from Germany...they are just SO delicious!
-DHS - Haven't really gotten a ton of snacks here, but Starring Rolls is on my Sept list!
