1 bdrm configuration?

Okay folks, I'm not trying or wanting to start any kind of a debate, but would like some info as we have never stayed in a 1-bdrm before. Are any of the 1-bdrms set up to be wheel chair accessible, like some of the studios are? Different kitchen set-up and accommodations in the bathroom?
Just curious for our upcoming trip and can't remember what I've read on other threads.

Yes, there are accessible 1BR's at all DVC resorts.

Make sure to make your request stating that you need wheelchair accessibility. These villas have special cabinetry in the kitchen and roll-in showers.
