Does anyone order contacts through mail order or the internet to save money? Do you know anything 1-800 contacts? Any suggestions?

I use them. When I first ordered from them, they were one of the few sources for cheap contacts. These days, there are lots of good options. So I don't know if they are still the best choice for saving money. But they provide great service, and it's sooo easy to use them that I stick with them.

We usually order our contacts from 800 contacts. It's not much cheaper than going through our optometrist, but it's much more convenient. Very quick service.

I've used them twice for DS's contacts. When the optometrist's office messed up his order, I then cancelled it and went thru 1-800-contacts. I got the exact order I would have gotten thru the optometrist and with a $40 rebate coupon, it was less.

I get mine from Costco but 2 good friends use this company and they are both pleased.

I have used them, but I prefer Costco. To me Costco has better pricing, service, no minimim and no shipping charges. I can call ahead and see if they have my RX in stock.

I have used them, for both kids, and was please. My Dr began matching prices for them so now I just order through her. That way if the kids prescriptions change I can trade them out for the new prescription.

I have used them and have nothing but good to say about them. DS11's prescription changed and I had ordered 2 years worth of contacts, they took them all back, credited me for them and sent out two more years of the new ones. If you buy 8 boxes shipping is free and you get some nice discounts and with their simple return program, why not. They mail you the new contacts and include a postage paid label to send back the old contacts right in the same box. The hardest part was driving to the post office to drop them off.
