My home for 8 days.

On the lower left, you can just see the corner of the 3rd bed.

The slide towards the front of the ship:

The picture below is a view of the atrium, looking straight across from deck 5. I will try to get a picture today looking up from down below to show how pretty it is. The chandelier is made of a ton of lights that constantly change color. Sometimes the color changes fast, sometimes slow, in a random pattern. Very cool to watch! And way up at the top is a glass ceiling, so when I go up in the glass elevator, I feel like Charlie and Willy Wonka going up through the roof!

Similar view as above, just shifted to the right slightly to show the elevators. As you can see, the colors of the lights have changed from blue to green. The lights on the whole wall change too.

This is the teen club & arcade called Without Batteries:

On deck 5, behind the casino, there are stores on both sides of the ship, like a little mini-mall. This picture is of part of a row of stores on one side of the ship.

This picture is of Piano Man, which is obviously a piano bar. Forgot to mention we stopped in there last night and there was a guy playing the piano in the center and the whole piano rotates in a circle constantly. Kind of cool, but I'll bet that piano player sure gets dizzy by the end of the night! :)

This is a picture of Hot & Cold, the club I mentioned earlier. Very cool!

Thanks for the great photos! Wow... some of that decor is over the top!

Yup, it's pretty wild. The one I'm really trying to get a good photo of is the Venetian Palace, which is where the shows are held. It's really sparkly and elaborate, but I can't get the settings on my camera right because any photo I take of it turns out too dark to see.

This is a short post. Not much going on. Tried to workout, but couldn't do the treadmill because of how much the ship is moving. Decided I'd try to walk on the jogging track, thinking if I fell, at least I wouldn't fall on a moving treadmill, but that deck was closed due to high winds and motion of the ship. The pools were drained too. Decided to try to do some schoolwork in a deck chair on deck 3 (equivalent to Disney's deck 4), but that was closed too because of the wind I suppose or maybe a combination of the wind and ship rocking. Found an omelet bar by one of the pools, right under the jumbotron screen. Just as good as Disney's omelet bar in Topsiders and Beach Blanket . :thumbsup2

This is part of the main lobby (deck 3). Turned out dark, but at least you can get the idea.

This is the other side of the lobby at the bottom of the elevators. Turned out even darker, sorry.

Right above the piano, here's a picture of what I was mentioning earlier about how the elevators go up towards a glass ceiling.

This is very interesting Holly. Thank you for sharing. I have a good friend who was very much into Carnival cruise lines until his cruise on the Liberty last year. I believe he took 16 CCL cruises in 8 or so years. He was very disappointed in his cruise on the Liberty so much so that he wrote a letter to Bob Dickinson to share his displeasure and that that was his last cruise. He now cruises exclusively with RCI and Celebrity.

I have always been somewhat fascinated with Carnival, and would like to try a Carnival cruise just to check it out. After cruising with Disney now, I don't think I could do that.
