1,353 MILES! "Get Your Motor Runnin'" or "Leaving on a Jet Plane"?

Should Shocker attempt to devour the 48 ounce steak at Shula's?

  • No, he might get sick and ruin the rest of the vacation for Wigd.

  • Yes, he has the right to take this challenge.

I remember them...vaguely...wonder how David Cassidy is holding up these days?

David and the third brother(I cannot remember his name) had a show on TV back in the fall that Shawn produced on the Family Channel(I think). I watch it a couple of times he held up fairly well. He looked about the same just a few wrinkles and a few pounds.

Well, when I read all this, it made me tear my MickeyMonitor open so see who would be singing while I was there during spring break!

I guess I'll be singing, "I Think I Love You" along with David!

So will you head over there on your first night?

OH...David Cassidy was such a dreamboat back in the day!! While I am not old enough to have watched them in primetime...I did watch reruns of the Patridge Family on Nick at Night and fell in love!! How exciting!!

Not the first night....plan to head over to MK that evening.

I think there's a show each night of the weekend. We have Epcot planned as our park for that Sunday,so we might catch him then. :thumbsup2

THIS IS A FANTASTIC LIST!!!!! :goodvibes I think you will be happier being able to stroll over to dinner your first night vs. busing it to the Poly! YAY for some AWESOME choices!!!! AND I can't wait to hear what you think about Bistro -- I have to decide between this and the Blue Zoo for one night this summer so I will expect the full report! :thumbsup2

Due to the add-on, our first night is Saturday the 13th, but because we will be getting there after 7 we thought it would be best not to make an ADR....

I'm sure those are all great choices, but I have to be honest and admit, that in 8 trips, I've never eaten at a one of those places! I tend to run with the chicken nuggett-french fries sort of crowd!

Checking in late - sounds like you need to just move to WDW. Maybe they have some apartments available at WS!:thumbsup2

David's wife is in my company. He played at our convention last year - I was hoping he'd be singing again this year - March 20. Probably not?

Congrats on the less than 30 days! :yay::yay:

I am too young to know Paul Revere & The Raiders or David Cassidy very well; however, I do know of them both and know some of their music. Both sound like great shows!

Your ADRs look delicious! Be sure to keep good details of your meals so we can drool over them in the TR. ;)

Where have you been Shocker? Shouldn't we be hearing about suitcases or something about now?? Clock's ticking!

You are right....Wigd received email from Owner's Locker that they would be delivered to Boardwalk on the 14th, so she will have to do without her necessities

BearNecessities.jpg

for one night! We discussed having it delivered to Pop for our one night but those things are packed full and no way I want to unpack and pack for that short period of time. I'm not sure what we will do for the one night at the end of the trip also.

I need to schedule an appt for the car to be serviced even though we will only be driving 250 miles to the airport.

We do have the Magical Express tags and ready to go as soon as Wigd has the bags packed....

Groceries have been ordered and will be delivered to Boardwalk and waiting for us when we get there. :cool1:

I am looking forward to some time away from the stress of state testing and basketball. Neither of these should be issues, but my school did not meet AYP in Reading last year and we are very worried that it will happen again this year. If so, the students will have the right to transfer to other schools in our district, including the school Wigd transferred to to get away from that environment. Basketball has been a travesty this year. Baylor is playing in a competitive league under a coach who does not know how to interact with players or parents in a positive manner. I coached many years at the middle school level and I would have been canned if I tried to do or say things that this man has done and said. I guess we should have called him out for it but we always hoped it would get better and Baylor initially enjoyed playing on the team.

I was asked by a colleague what we were doing for Spring Break and I mentioned we would be heading back to Disney. The teacher asked why we continue going back so often. I tried to explain, but I came to the realization that if you have to ask, then you just cannot possibly understand.
