1,353 MILES! "Get Your Motor Runnin'" or "Leaving on a Jet Plane"?

Should Shocker attempt to devour the 48 ounce steak at Shula's?

  • No, he might get sick and ruin the rest of the vacation for Wigd.

  • Yes, he has the right to take this challenge.

The teacher asked why we continue going back so often.

"Because we can." :)

Sorry basketball wasn't so much fun. I hope that doesn't discourage him from going out for other teams in the future, or maybe he'd rather play rec league basketball and concentrate on baseball or soccer or whatever he enjoys. My boys were lucky that they always had exceptionally good coaches.

I'm listening to the monorail loop on Magical Mouse Radio. Does that make me Disney obsessed?

I agree... those who have to ask just wouldn't understand. Thank goodness for DIS'ers! ::yes::

Sorry there has been so much stress w/ testing and basketball. That coach sounds miserable. :sad2:

May I ask, does your Owner's Locker have a name? I just heard of this practice of naming your locker.

Your ADR line-up looks fantastic. Have you decided what you're going to order at Shula's? :rolleyes1

Your trip will be here before you know it!!! :woohoo:

Locker #1 is Wigdoutdis Locker

Locker #2 is Shocker's Dis Locker

Shula's is still presenting a dilemma.....The 48 ouncer is still being considered!

Let's get the spelling right.... :teacher:

What's that you said about that 48 ouncer Shocker?!?
I thought we had that settled.....:upsidedow

Oh well, it's your stomach!
As for me, I'm having the filet. It's 12 ounces and I don't think I'll be able to finish it but thank goodness there won't be any pressure to do it!

2 lockers!! Very cool! I am having fun thinking about what to fill mine with.

I will be looking forward to the Shula's review no matter what anyone orders!

I thought I would get a head-start on my clothes for the trip. Everything I picked up to take to the washer had this tag on it!

ADR's look really yummy.
I am sorry about the basketball and the reading
I wish I was going for Spring Break

Hey Shocker! This Spring Break trip is taking shape! How exciting! I am so thrilled for you guys! I think you will have a wonderful time. Sorry to hear about the school strss and basketball. That can be a real downer. BUT I really loved your response about going to Disney so often. You are right, it is something that you either "get" or you dont ;)... Glad to be in on the little secret!!! :)

You guys deserve and need this trip, I'm happy it's so close. Sorry about the state testing that happened at one of our schools this year and it is drama to be sure.

It would be great if all coaches were really there for the kids but sadly it's just not always the case. Jeff and I often think that life was a lot simpler before select sports existed.

Thanks for filling us in Shocker!! There's always a list isn't there?
I love what you said - if you have to ask...

Around here, a lot of people have cabins on a lake (there's 10,000 of them) and they go to "the lake" every weekend in the summer. Those are the same people who ask why we go back to WDW so often.
Hmmmmm...
at least at WDW things change!

I would love to have been a fly on the wall when you "settled" the 48 oz steak issue! :rotfl:
I hope things improve for your school. Ours had an AYP issue too. (I don't work there though). It will be good for you (and Anita) to get away!!

I do love what he told his principal when he asked if he doesn't get tired of going to Disney over and over....

Hi! I'm glad your trip is taking shape! 2 Lockers! You really know how to live! :goodvibes I'm sure you have champagne and caviar in one of them!:thumbsup2

I'm sorry Baylor is having a hard time in Basketball - that stinks. :sad2:
Okay, I agree - don't even try to explain why you are going to Disney "again." If they have to ask, they don't need to know!

Twelve days until your spring break trip!!! Woo hoo!!! I know you both are excited to be getting away for a bit!!! You deserve it!!!

I would probably say something about the tag in all your clothes, Shocker, but I know how much Wigd likes to do laundry. :lmao:

No, almost everything you do shows your Disney obsession!

Yes, but isn't it a nice obsession?

I obviously did not know the correct names of the lockers!

Gosh, what would I do without HER! :rolleyes1

2 lockers!! Very cool! I am having fun thinking about what to fill mine with.

Try not to let a pillow take up all the space....

ADR's look really yummy.

It should be a very TASTY trip!

BUT I really loved your response about going to Disney so often. You are right, it is something that you either "get" or you dont ;)... Glad to be in on the little secret!!! :)

Let's let kids be kids!

The cabin example is an excellent argument for DVC!

I guess it was not "settled" after all....:confused3

:thumbsup2 You are correct!

I LOVE being correct!

I do love what he told his principal when he asked if he doesn't get tired of going to Disney over and over....

:worship:

Poor Baylor! :sad2: He needs a new coach.
It makes me wonder if coaches should have to apply for the position.

Hi! I'm glad your trip is taking shape! 2 Lockers! You really know how to live! :goodvibes I'm sure you have champagne and caviar in one of them!:thumbsup2
I would prefer beer and chips....:lmao:

I would probably say something about the tag in all your clothes, Shocker, but I know how much Wigd likes to do laundry. :lmao:
I find it amazing that it took this long for someone to make a comment! :rotfl2:

No, almost everything you do shows your Disney obsession!

I'm at school now gathering up Math stuff for a Geometric Shapes lesson this afternoon, and I'm listening to the Magical Express bus movie. I am smiling. Does that make me Disney obsessed?

Oh, never mind, I remember what you just said. :)

They're talking about 'the best kept Disney secret' right now. Are you familiar with that, by any chance? :goodvibes

I do know a little about Disney's Best Kept Secret! When we went in 2006, we kept seeing those ads and I wondered what it was all about. When we got home I did some research and was amazed at how much it would cost! We went back in 2007 and it was then that Wigd decided we would make Disney our second home. I took a lot of convincing, but I would now debate the positives of DVC with those who think it is totally ridiculous! DVC should not be purchased on a whim (unless funds are no issue) but if you are obsessed with the "World", and you can afford the cost, why not?
