aaah, just think...in 37 more weeks, that'll be us!!! :cheer2: :grouphug:

i am definately interested and was just informed that my brother is coming as well. Any one have any tips to meet up with singles besides the luncheon now that my brother is sharing a room with I dont want people to think we are a "couple" I thought about making a shirt that said "HES MY BROTHER" :rotfl2:

:rotfl: That is funny! :lmao:

You can probably tell that I've been away for a long time :goodvibes

DH found out last week that he was losing his job.

:sad2: Sorry ...... sending some pixiedust:

...... maybe it would be better if I read all of the back posts first then responded ........ nah!

DH got a job!

God is good!

"...... all the time and all of the time .... God is good!" Everyone in our church says this. :goodvibes

I'm glad for your good news. :thumbsup2

OK, so I know I'm anal retentive, and I'm OK with that ;)
Did we decide that I was taking care of shirts (which is fine) or that somebody else was (which is also fine). I just can't remember. I know we've got time, but it's that anal retentive thing!

What color do we want? Plain boring white? DisBoard green??? :thumbsup2
Did we want just a lapel design? People's names? "Cruise title" and/or theme? Somebody help me out here...I'm too impatient to wade back through all the pages of posts :upsidedow

As mentioned previously, my friend who has the embroidery shop did order the DCL patterns off of Ebay, so we could have something fairly custom.

OK...gotta toddle off to work now...time to take out some aggression on a poor defenseless punching bag!!! :yay:

My 2.5 cents ...... any color but white. The rest is optional to me and I will be happy with the consensus of the group. :thumbsup2

I don't know if anyone noticed but I have been away for a long time!

The first week of April my DW had a conference in Orlando so my 35yo DS and I went to WDW. :lovestruc

Two things:

1. Spring Break weeks are really busy! :scared1:
2. From 11AM to 5PM it is HOT!

Other than that it was a great time. I have photos to post soon.

The best thing my DS and I did was the train tour! We arrived at the MK just before 7AM (just after dawn :cool2:). I have several photos of Main Street with NO ONE on it! :thumbsup2

More later.

Brack, welcome back! We did the train tour a few years ago and enjoyed it.

Sadly, not for Disney. I won't even get close...OK, I'll get close enough to make me cry (haha)...I'm leaving in the morning for Orlando with our TaeKwonDo team. The Florida state qualifier for nationals is Saturday and I am 1 of about 20 officials from the state of Georgia going. 450-500 young athletes will be competing for a spot to go to the TKD nationals. My own personal kids have been 3 times...I don't miss the anxiety over making sure we had all the proper equipment, and we made it to staging on time-or turning my child over to somebody else and trusting that they were making it to the proper staging area since parents aren't allowed back there-that's what coaches are for.
We're actually going down tomorrow so that we (the team) can go to Universal on Friday...we're on a roller coaster quest. HEY- we need a little roller coaster dude (like the smileys and bananas) or do we already have 1 and I missed it???
Anyway, I'm driving back Saturday night after the tournament b/c 2 of my kids are in the musical Sunday at church. Wish us well! I won't have a computer with me, and I'll probably be comatose when I get home (after driving all night, I've got the play Sunday morning, then a soccer game in the afternoon.
Everybody behave, and play nicely together :rotfl:

Well Kelley,
I know you're gonna go to Margaritaville!!!:worship: Have a great time while we're all working:guilty:

Don

Well, I DID make it there, but only for a brief shopping period. We went on Friday, and we had to leave by 6:00 for Bobby and Victoria to make it back on time for the coaches/officials seminar. We walked through (I had to get Aaron a new hat) between parks. I was soooo upset...in the kids section they had a onesie that said "not too soft, not too loud...just enough to draw a crowd. Quietly Making Noise" For those who don't know, DH and I run a small videography company on top of our "day jobs"...www.qmnproductions.com
Anyway, we had a great time. APPARANTLY, my 14 yo DD has reached the "mom is chopped liver" stage of her life. Fortunately for her, not disrespectfully ;) There were 3 other teens in the parks with us that day from our school, and after begging to make sure she could sit with me on dueling dragons (in case she got scared) she ditched me to go sit with them. Oh well, she had a great time.
The tournament was good...we kept the medics hopping. The ambulance only had to come for 1 person (that I know of)...lots of broken fingers/toes (some even protruding through the skin  ) some dislocations, kneecap pops, a few ACL's here and there, hurl...the standard stuff. The only 1 that was scary was an 18-34 YO black belt male (we call them the testosterone factories) who caught a kick with his head just right...broken jaw and possible spinal fracture...although no cord damage b/c his limbs were moving the 30 minutes he was seizing off and on. I left at 7 to drive back to Atlanta, and when I talked to my boss this morning, he said the kid walked back into the arena last night to see the tournament organizer. SO, thank GOD that it didn't end up any worse.
I'm TIRED today...got home at 3:30 and got to bed at 4:00...got back up at 7:30 to get my kids to church for the musical that 2 of them were in...Victoria-who slept over 1/2 the drive home-had the nerve to tell me she was tired!:sad2: She did perk up though when Diane offered to let her come to their house this afternoon...can't wait to see how cranky she was when she gets home from church. Then, Aaron had a soccer game. I'm just sitting here at the computer putting off unpacking. Guess I better get to it...hope everybody had a great weekend...we're another week closer to the cruise!!!!!!!!!!!!  :dance3: :cheer2: :grouphug:

Welcome new cruisers!!!:cheer2: Glad you are here. If you want to participate in the Fish extender Tag game let me know so I can get you on the list of participants.

Hooray to Kelley's and her DH for him getting a job...Kelley is a much happier person b/c of *that*. :thumbsup2

As far as the t-shirts go, we still need to nail down a clever cruise name and/or group name and that will help us direct our design of the "logo"....trust me you just can't do it backwards and still do it well. I like the embroidered idea be it on polos or t-shirts. I'd rather have a lighter colour than a darker one...just personal preference.

I too have rejoined the regular world. DD had her final show last night with her drama club. They performed Little Women the Musical. We had six shows in 3 days at a theatre about 32 miles from our house. Too many miles with too expensive gasoline!! But it is all over now. We just have to wrap up the school year with the end of year program, go to the homeschool convention, go for a quick Mother's Day trip tp WDW  :cloud9: :yay: , have some surgery, get through summer swim league....*breathe* in the middle of it all.... LOL it just never ends. I'll be very ready for our cruise come Jan!!!! Oh heck! I'm ready for it now! :cool1: :lovestruc :cool2: :upsidedow
Oh, if anyone is remotely interested, you can see pix of DD in costume for her play at http://parakeetcollege.blogspot.com/

Oh and to add to my upcoming fun....I get to have my mammogram tomorrow. :scared1:  I'll be thinking of upcoming WDW trip - going to my happy place!

:scared1: YIKES!!!!!! I just checked air fares for this trip (from Chicago not Europe) and the airlines want $2000 + for the two us.:scared1:

Well Judy with the gas prices so high we all just get hammered (not in a good way) And as of May 1st nearly all the airlines will charge you for the 2nd piece of checked luggage..... and on top of that if it's over weight look out (CHA CHING!) more money!!! :faint: MY family flew out to Vegas 2 weeks ago and Delta did not impress me....:scared:

I'm at the camp this weekend for Women's Camp (I run the sound & video). It's 200+ women and four guys.

Here are two photos from my trip to WDW ....

Brack, I always enjoy your pictures. Have fun this weekend. How is Disdog JoJo?

Brack,
You and my husband are going to have LOTS to talk about! ;) What you are doing this weekend, is what he does about 10 weekends a year for youth retreats. Hope you have a great weekend!

We just booked our air for this trip. With Ted/United it was under $600 for both of us, a bit more than we are used to paying, but now we have it. That rate is much better than the $2000+ with American.

We also changed our Disneyland dates. We will extend our Nov 1-5, to Las Vegas (business trip), drive to Disneyland for Nov 5-8, drive back to LV and fly home. We save on air fare and vacation days used.
