Ehhh, isn't the whole idea behind this that the power shuts off when you leave the room? They are trying to save some power... Be a social and economic person and just turn off the power when you leave your room like a person who cares a little bit about the environment?
Yes, i know, i'm european and we do not share the american idea and obsession with air conditioning and being able to watch tv 24/7 and in every room. But the key card slot is put there for a very good reason, TURN OFF THE POWER WHEN YOU LEAVE THE ROOM!

While I agree that we should all help conserve, that was rather uncalled for. Not all Americans are obsessed with air conditioning and TV.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Hope to meet lots of 3 & 4 year olds and their parents, too!!

I was just thinking about double checking when this was. Thanks for the reminder!!

Oh goodie, I was wondering if we were doing this! I misread it and thought it was the first day lol I was thinking that would be a bit hectic, good thing i reread it! I look forward to meeting you all!

You're both welcome!

This was definitely uncalled for. The original suggestion came about as a way to NOT forget your KTTW card. By putting another card in the slot, we can keep our KTTW in our pockets/lanyards/whatever and there is no worry about locking ourselves out. Please don't jump to any stereotypes about what you think Americans are, because there are so many of us that we're not just one thing.

that's funny... I was just going to post a question asking where also!
any ideas on how we'll recognize our group?

I think by sheer volume! ;) Just walk up and ask, among other things! If I had any talent, I'd create a small poster. Maybe I will, still, but don't expect it to look good.

My balcony!

And the sun. And meeting my new DIS friends. The food. The chance to see Puerto Rico. The forced disconnect from my email/phone.

Haha.

Ditto on all items. I will add allowing DD to see new things while she can :)

Haha.

Playing boardgames in the sun while sipping an aperol cocktail on the adults only sundeck...

NO WORK EMAIL which equals time with the boy with no competing interests. Really, most days, I could not care less where we are going, but I won't complain if it's warm and sunny...

Forced disconnect! I'm a little addicted to my job...it's not every day a girl can detox with a cocktail in hand!!

I am looking forward to relaxing and spending time with my son.

Okay, if you could only do one activity on the ship, what would it be?

Hiking on St. John and San Juan, Palo dinner, castaway 5k and our cabana!

I am in agreement with everyone else about no e-mail or internet. It was one big reason I chose a cruise...my hubby will be forced to step away from work something that hasn't happen in 8 1/2 years :cool1::cool1:

Sit on my veranda with wine and cheese
