1/22/2006 Roll Call for Wonder Cruisers

The thread on the main board has me wondering: Where is everyone planning to eat lunch that first day after boarding?

My first choice would be Parrot Cay because Topsiders sounds too confusing, esp with kids and carryons. Maybe it depends on the weather, or if the kids are itching to swim the minute we get on the ship.

Whatever will be fine for us. I am sure DD & DS will be so excited that we may not even get them to sit down for lunch. I bet our family will end up eating many lunches and snacks at plutos or whatever snack bars are right by the pool. DD is excited about the ice cream/mickey bars whenever she wants!


DS likes the idea of pizza and chicken nuggets.

They are not patient so I do not know how the long meals at diiner will go.

I like this idea! (Do you actually have time to do all of that??) Now you all will just have to decide why he's getting this award!

Not a problem! It won't take to long and it would be so worth it!

Forgot to mention about my glow stuff.....I have a tube of necklaces and a tube of bracelets....if we've already got bracelets lined up, I'll probably just leave the bracelets at home. There's, I think, 50 in each, so wouldn't that be enough? They are really heavy, so I don't want to haul too many just to haul them back home!

I don't think it'd take too much to get Alvaro to shake his tail feathers!!!!!!!! That's great!! I just can't wait to meet all you people in real life!! Another question....does anyone have a tally of how many people we have? How many families? Maybe we could get a list started?

We usually go to Parrot Cay if the weather is bad, or to the buffet if the weather is nice...unfortunately, so do everyone else!! One thing is if the weather is nice, we could meet out by the Mickey pool, further down than most people go from the buffet. Then, if the kids wanted to swim, we'd be in the area to keep an eye on them! We could probably even be close to the Goofy pool for the older kids......

Just an idea.....

Forgot to mention about my glow stuff.....I have a tube of necklaces and a tube of bracelets....if we've already got bracelets lined up, I'll probably just leave the bracelets at home. There's, I think, 50 in each, so wouldn't that be enough? They are really heavy, so I don't want to haul too many just to haul them back home!

Got another email from Alvaro this morning! This is what he had to say about the Chicken Little medal:
the Chicken Little was for the 5K Family Fun Run... we ALL did this one (althought Marisel and Ana Carolina insist that "Fun" and "Run" should not go together in the same sentence...lol...)
I just know 'm gonna like his family!!!!!!! So, shall we make them ALL shake their tailfeathers?!?!?!?!?

Yes I think we should. We could list them all on the certificate, but I do not know all of their names. Do you? PM me if you do. Also from their dining ressies I think I have their last name from their dining ressies. What about a medal. Should I just make 1 or 4????

I'm so EXCITED I'm going to bust if I don't tell someone! We got a SPH!!! We got a SPH!!! I've been checking the dcl website daily and today cabin 5022 was available! So I e-mailed DU and had them move us to that room.

We usually book a cat 6 but booked a cat 10 to save some $$ since it's only a 4 day cruise. We've only sailed an inside room twice and we really didn't like it, just a personal preference. We have a hard enough time getting our butts out of bed without it being dark in the room 24/7. Plus, our cousins room is on deck 5 so now we will be closer!

This is fantastic news! Congratulations It's amazing that these rooms (and esp SPH) are available so close to sailing. Is it really just 10 days??!

No haven't heard anymore.....I guess it could happen anywhere. I am just glad nobody (hostages) was hurt.
