Just got home from the LAST night of work Now it's time for BED!

Just wanted to wish everyone safe travels since some won't be posting again! Can't wait to see everyone on THE SHIP

Almost 7am and I agreed with Steve to be out of the house by 7:30. Gotta grab some breakfast (finishing off leftovers in the fridge), brush teeth, and throw carry-on bag in the car and we're on the road! Supposed to be sunny and windy today and a little chilly. Should be nice for traveling.

We're going to hit the early entry days at the parks - AK on Wednesday, MK on Thursday, then extra hours at Epcot Friday evening. Shelly, maybe we'll see you there. Saturday is MGM in the morning.

God speed and safe travel everyone. See you on the ship, if not sooner.

Wishing all of those who have already gotten on the road or who are departing soon a safe and easy journey.

We dont depart til Friday a.m., and I have to work a 12 tomorrow and Thursday so I may not get my door magnets done after all

We got through the waitlist for early dining which just works out better for us, so I am happy about that.

Anyone planning on sailing summer of 08? We would love to do a repo cruise, not interested in the west coast itineraries, but a 14 day repo would be heaven

I would SO love to do this (that would be through the Panama Canal, right?)! Unfortunately I am not convinced we'll be able to afford a trip of that magnitude so soon after this one. This is kind of a "trip of a lifetime" for us. We'll have to see how this year goes for real estate (DH's business).

Well we are leaving for the airport bright and early, so I should go attend to last-minute details and try to relax. Safe travels to everyone else... we'll see you on board!!

Yeah, I would go for that! I cruised in the lowest category with Carnival with my 2 best girlfriends and we had plenty of room. I would imagine DCL rooms are bigger. I can definately live without a verandah - we only got it this time to get the Poly for the land part I told Dave the other night that I project to "earn" $2500 over the next 2 years with Sunshine, mypoints, and Disney Visa rewards... I just need to step that up a bit or add some ebay proceeds to it and we are there!!

That was really a good price. I think by then we will be able to live without verandahs. They are really nice when the little ones are small and take naps (with so many little ones, we had ALOT of naps going on), but now we are out of the baby days and dont need to spend cruise time nappin!!!!

Are you planning eastbound or westbound, and what are the pros/cons of either. Counting on some expert advice here. Also, who did you book with last time?

13 -14 cruises is alot! after we do the first 11 night Med.
but we are ready to do something different

We will see.... would like to be on the New ship!!!! where ever it may go....

I think they will be more money this time!!!

That was opening morning, First tier pricing,
actually did not get in on the first tier pricing, we got a cost of $500.00 higher
But Some how someone on the boards was giving up a first tier Res and My TA got us on that res instead!!! Have to love a Good TA like SE.

Well I'm stressed AND excited to the MAX... our house SOLD today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So great on my plate now is packing, finding a place to rent, and looking forward to packing my house with no where to go at this point. We close 2 weeks after vacation and I leave in ONE day. So that leaves me WHEN to find a house to move into?!?

This will be a MUCH needed vacation even moreso now than before

Congratulations on selling your house! Think of it as one LESS thing to worry about when you get home. It is more fun to go house hunting when you know yours is sold, although finding a temporary place is no fun.

I saw the Atlantis special on Travelzoo and seriously considered it, but I think we are going to stay on the ship. Weather report is great for Monday wherever we are - ship or Atlantis!

Peter, what is the deal with the Bahamas Immigration form? Do we need that filled out before we check-in? I guess we just put we are arriving by cruise ship and the date - is it as simple as that?

I think I found it with my search. Looks like we need it at the port and we are in the Bahamas two days - Nassau and CC.
