Do you guys want a REALLY GOOD laugh?

Ok here goes....I was all proactive and ordered something custom made for our FE gifts. I was all proud of myself because I found a great deal and got 50of what I wanted for $25. I approved the design and had them shipped. They finally arrived today. I was all excited. I tore open the package to find.....

I screwed up. I put 2008 instead of 2009 on what I had made. How the hell did I manage that? I am just about in tears,but then just started to laugh. Out came the mastercard and I just re-ordered.

So guys, I 'was' going to do a nice little package thing with what I had made, but now it has cost me $50 for FE gifts, this is all you get from us! I am so sorry! You will know what it is when you see it I am sure. If not, I will fill you in after the fact.

Oh! You know, I wouldn't have noticed either. Can you just change the 2008 to 2009? Seems like a pen could take care of the problem quite easily!! I'm so glad that you can laugh about it though!!

Our gifts will be a couple of smaller things. I hope that's okay!!! My kids are SOOOO excited about delivering them!

I'm new at this FE thing, so do we pick a night to deliver gifts or is it random? Do we enclose our names with the gifts? Do we do it everyday? Hmmmmmmmm?

I sent everyone a link to go for our fish extender list. There is an info section on there too.
Its random - just pick a time to deliver your gifts. You can put your name or not, up to you, and you don't need to do it every day. You can do it once or 10 times - its completely up to you.

Cruise documents will start arriving approximately 2-3 weeks precruise. Just in time for Christmas!

If anyone else wants to look at the October 4-11, 2008 western Navigators, I can email them to you. Great reading over the Christmas holidays!

Aside from the FE activities on board, are we having a DIS meet? Maybe I missed the posts about a meet.

Regarding room assignments, DCL does not always contact you directly with your stateroom #. My DD and DS-I-L booked at Cat. 12 and noticed their room assingment when then received their luggage tags along with their cruise docs. They were upgraded to a Cat. 9 - oceanview on deck 2. I've read other DISers mention that they were not contacted directly about their room assignment. Carla and I are booked for a GTY Cat. 12. Even if we remain in a Cat. 12 stateroom, that's fine with me. As long as I am on the ship!

ATTENTION!!!!!!!!!!

DIS Meet on Saturday, January 10, 2009 at 3pm - Promenade Lounge - Deck 3 - between Lumiere's and Parrot Cay - unless anyone has another suggestion. This time/location seems to work well - it's after boarding, lunch, going to the stateroom, and gives us about 45minutes pre-drill. Promenade Lounge is not busy, especially that time of day, and it works regardless of weather.
