It was more of a shock to meet some one with the same last name. Rainbow. Not too many of us out there. Met Lourella (I hope that I spell that correctly) with the second cruise. We drove down that time and while waiting to park a cast member mentioned that they had a couple that worked there with the same last name. We looked them up. Gordon was downstairs with the luggage. But did meet her. Met Gordon the next year when by pure chance he checked us in. He was shaking, he had never met another Rainbow. He was from Venezuela. It is a real small world.

In highschool I had a teacher whose name was Harvey Rainbow!
Thats a cool story! I wish my last name was Rainbow - it sounds so happy!

Oh, I wish I was ready! DD is packed and DS is getting close but I still haven't even started on myself or DH. We are getting there but oh so slowly. DD turned 9 today. Yes, she is a millenium baby- though NOT planned that way Kind of a cool birthday though and she always knows how old she is

Just over a week to go and I'm ready

We can't get rid of the company long enough to pack! As soon as one group leaves, someone else takes their place! Hopefully, after today they will all be gone for good! Someone told me once that, "the best part of having company is........the headlights when they are coming and the tail lights when they leave!" After the past two weeks, now I truly understand this analogy! LOL!

I don't feel old, I am REALLY OLD!!!! My son graduated in 1989 and my daughters graduated in 1991!!! See, I am old!!!

Anyhoo...
NO MORE SLEEPS!!!! TODAY IS THE DAY!
We are flying from Seattle, so its a 3 hour bus ride down today and then an airport hotel tonight and an early flight with a 10 hour day tomorrow to get to Orlando! POFQ for the week and then THE CRUISE!!!!!!
I am going to be so ready for the cruise. I have been on bedrest for some of Nov/December and while I was already out of shape, this has made it worse and we have to take it slow and easy in the parks until I get into the groove again. I also am getting over a broken elbow/arm (broke it in 2 places last fall), so I am so totally out of shape because I didn't do a whole lot while that was broken.....oh man this should be interesting this week! LOL
I have a 2009 resolution for once we are home! No point in dieting on the cruise! LOL!!!!
So SEE YOU ALL LATER!!! OMG LOOK AT MY TICKER!!!

Heard from Tiffany our FE's were mailed out today. We can not wait to get ours!!

I unwrapped mine again last night as I was packing it. Her work is just amazing. I told DH I can't wait to hang this in my kitchen- then thought but that would mean our cruise was over- so yes I can. The thought should have been I can't wait to hang this on my fish! Don't forget those zip ties.

More snow here today to go with the 4-5" we got last night. DH shoveled for me this morning before he left for his 48 hour shift- that was a nice surprise. I think he is trying to make up for his lack of packing. He says he's doing it Monday.

Today I am writing 6 days of sub plans-some of the first ones I can remember in 17 years that I don't dread writing Then off to dry cleaners, etc. Almost there
