1,000+ photos- Update-Pg. 12-my TR is over!

Hi April! Jumping on board! Going back to read!

Just wanted to let you know that I have been lurking through your trip report and have loved all of your pictures. The pictures are all very pretty.:)

Great trip report! Keep up the beautiful pictures!

I feel like I have been running in slow motion. I have slowed down so much I can't even read fast anymore.......:lmao:. I think I am all caught up now. Again, your pictures are breath taking. I hope I can take some even half as good when we are there.

Holy smokes! I don't get on the Dis for a few days and I miss tons and tons of gorgeous pictures. Your pictures are always amazing and so detailed.
I know that I'll never get to stay at the Yacht Club because of the price but if I did, I'd probably never want to stay anywhere else. It's just so pretty.

Thanks, Lisa! The YC definitely spoiled me, but I have to say that I still can’t pick a real favorite. YC is pretty & convenient for the Food & Wine, AKL is awesome for the atmosphere, Polynesian & WL are convenient & I love the atmosphere, CBR, POR, & POFQ are all fun & are so pretty. I can never pick a favorite!

Your Epcot pictures are really great - definitely not getting tired of them :thumbsup2

Thanks! I have a ton more!!

The sunset pictures are just gorgeous!
I haven't been to Tutto since Alfredos moved out. One of these days I'll try the new place.

Thank you! Tutto was pretty good. I had never been to Alfredo’s, though, so I can’t compare the two.

Thanks, Dana!! I am positive your photos in May will be incredible! The ones you have posted so far in your PTR are just awesome!!

We got up & were out of the room by 9:30am.

My stepmom & my brother are the ones who first took me to WDW at age 23. They were going there for years before that. Every trip, they eat at the IHOP right off property. I’m not a huge fan, but the food is ok & it is clean. They know the manager there just from seeing her so often! So we went there for breakfast. I didn’t take photos & I only remember what I ordered. I had a veggie omelet (which I DROWNED in hot sauce) with wheat toast. It was better than I remembered it to be. After chatting with the manager they knew, we went right over to Animal Kingdom. The skies were dark, so we had brought umbrellas with us. Our philosophy was that since it never rained when we remembered our umbrellas, we would keep the rain away by bringing them. It worked! I could not believe the amount of cars in the parking lot. The tram was cram-packed full of people, too. We were off of the tram & through the gate before the rest of the crowd on the tram.

This was a Giant Anteater- sorry the photos aren’t so great. I could not believe how huge it was! I think most of these animals are not usually out when I make my way into the park.

I was VERY happy to have my family there, but I had to give up certain little things I wanted to do while I was there- like find Lisa’s secret Tree of Life trail. Dang. I did see a few animal exhibits around the tree, though & that was nice. I never knew there were kangaroos here!!!

Continued in next post- Day 3, Part 2- Africa & Pangani Forest Exploration Trail.....

We made our way over to Africa & got a FP for the safari. After that, we walked Pangani Trail.
(I don't know why I can't get this photo to appear in the right orientation.)

caught up!!

What a great report so far! I LOVE all the pictures! Thanks for sharing!!

Your room and your view were great! WOW!

Can't wait for more!

I always love seeing people's AK pictures. It never fails that everyone catches all kinds of details I've never noticed before. The park is just so full of amazing themeing and details. Yours are wonderful.

Gosh darn it all! I wish you had been able to find my "secret" Tree of Life trail. I know that this year, I am going to miss a few things that we normally do while at Walt Disney World. But, it will be worth sacrificing because my mother is going with us.

I am loving all of your Animal Kingdom pictures. Did you notice that you captured the hidden Mickey in the Tree of Life?

Great update April:thumbsup2. I have never had one of the coolers so I am going to have to try one in May because it looks delish. I am trying to talk Dale in to eating at Yak and Yeti.

Once again I love your pictures. I have been to Animal Kingdom 4 times and haven't seen the kangaroos. I guess that means I'll just have to go again. :)

Thank you! I’m going to get caught up on everyone’s TRs today- including yours! I am SO behind because work has been wacko since I got back from vacation. :headache:

I swear that I am going find it in October! I don’t care if I have to break off from the family for a bit, but I’m going to find it!!
Ummm…I am completely oblivious!!! :rolleyes1 Where is the hidden Mickey in the tree?

Thanks! You definitely have to try to find a Harambe Cooler- even my brother who hates mixed drinks liked it!!

Thank you! Well, darn it! I guess that does me you will have to go back. :rotfl:

See your upclose picture of the Tree of Life? See that black blob? Look at that really closely. It's three circles that make a hidden Mickey! I had taken picture after picture after picture of the Tree and didn't know it was a hidden Mickey until somebody told me.

Hi April!

I am so glad I found your report! What amazing pictures you've taken! I am so green with envy over that room at Yacht Club! Fantastic!! I will be at Beach Club in October too-- can't wait for Food & Wine!! :yay:
