Hello all!!!! Tough watching the EAGLES this early afternoon but they put it together buy the second quarter. Those cowboys will be a very good team in a couple of years mark my words. Just not so good when they play my birds though. Talking about yellow jackets/bee's where I work we pump in 65% corn syrup almost every day and have at least 4/5 trailers sitting outside everyday awaiting testing and they love it out there. We have become use to their presence until the fall and they go nuts. We were told they are mateing, really bad out there now need a good frost to knock them down. Take care everybody you need to be healthy all week. Keep up the prayers for good weather. Have cooked swiss steak. ham and potato cass.,shepards pie, chicken/mushrooms/in a garlic lemon butter, and meat sauce for pasta today for Patrick. Just call me Mr. Mom, Barbara is sick but still went to a bridal shower. My my less than a week. See Ya!

Well we have finally finished shopping and John is just about finished packing; he is unlike me, must have things organized way ahead of time.
Bought 2 suitcases and more clothes. It is great because of all the sales for Summer stuff.
I will xerox our passports and this is a reminder that you should all do the same; it is much easier should you lose them.
I am going to go to a spa and get self-tanned Thursday, along with a manicure and a pedicure. I think this is funny since I have only gotten a manicure once before in my life and never got the other two done! My husband says I deserve it; so that is nice of him!
I seem as excited about this trip as I was before the honeymoon!
I know we will have a ball.

Barbara - you succeeded in making me HUNGRY!!!! And it's not even supper time yet! I told my husband he can indulge himself and eat out. I think he already has the Pizza Delivery on speed dial and a menu for Chinese take out!

Donna - can't wait to meet another adoptive mom! Hope you enjoy that manicure and pedicure. There is a vocational college about 15 miles away and they do cosmetology. The girls do a great job.

Yellow jackets? I am going to get my bug man out tomorrow and destroy them! I am on a vendetta - I am not allergic but let me tell you the finger that was bitten hurts all the way to my elbow and from what I've read it might be that way for a few days.
AGGGGHHH! I will get my revenge!

Mom is doing well - nose isn't swelling anymore and bruising will probably be minimal. Again, aggghhh! What a weekend!
My dear friends/neighbors are moving this Friday to Alabama (Montgomery) and although I am counting down the trip, it's bitter sweet. They are in their 70's and moving near their daughter and her family. Been friends for nearly 20 years now and although we ex-military should be used to this, it's always hard when the time comes.

Thanks for those great Dis Cruisers decals. We did our shirts and they look so neat! What a great idea and how generous of you to do this for us!

Can't wait!!!!!!

Are the pools fresh or salt water? Can't remember and with all the pool/diaper stuff on the boards these days I didn't want to ask on the main board.
DD and DS dressed up in thier formal duds today for practice. Today is DS Casey's birthday, so we are going down to grandma and grandpa's house after dinner for cake and ice cream.
worked on my packing list, and my to-do list. Also trying to get ahead in the laundry department, (not easy).LOL
I'm trying to talk DH into not going to work on Friday. I could send DD to school, pack the car, finish last minute stuff, and pick her up about 10:30 am, and be heading south by 11 am.
Last time I asked DH to cut out of work early, he didn't get home till 5 pm, we wound up 2 hours from Rellingtwins house in SC at midnight, witnessed a horiffic car accident, and decided to stop for the night.
Can't believe we will be on The Magic in less then a week!

Ave, pools are fresh water.Happy Birthday to Mark and Case!

We just got back from a boat ride on my In-Laws new (used) boat. It is a pontoon boat, very nice!They live on a salt marsh, just shy of the Atlantic Ocean. As we traversed the marsh we saw dolphin! LOTS of them. They come up into the marsh at high tide to feed. Since it is a mud bottom, the water is not too clear, so you can only see them when they surface. Very cool!We saw about 8 of them including a mom with 2 babies (twins!!!)

DH is very happy that Mark Martin came in 2nd in todays race and is still in the "points lead" for the championship. Now he will HAVE to find someplace to watch the race next Sunday in Key West.

My pedicure is Thursday. When I made the appointment the lady asked me to please call if I was unable to keep the appt. I told her no way I was going to cancell!!!

I have been trying to "use up" all my perishable foods, only one problem...now I have no eggs, 4 slices of bread, no butter, and 1 qt of milk!! Guess I'll have to go to the grocery store after all!

George...I hope Barbara feels better soon.

George ... Hey, How about those Eagles! Had me worried in the first quarter. Now we have to try in ernest to see who is carrying the PSU and Eagles games next weekend.

One more suitcase to load with the clothes I have gathered and I'm done. Then there's getting out the vaseline to try and squeeze it all into the car trunk!

16 Hours of work to go BUT who's counting. Bad news is that I'm acting Manager cause my Manager is gone to a meeting ... hope everyone behaves till I get out of there.

Check on you all tomorrow ... have a very MiCKEY night and may there be visions of Cruise Ships sailing thru your dreams!

Well, Instead of going to Shakespeare with Bill and the kids, I sent him off with them, by himself. I have spent the evening watching the Emmys, washing, doing ironing and PACKING! I have everything done except the last minute stuff. Got it all into two suitcases. Will have to have a garment bag for the dressy stuff. Guess that isn't too bad. Got plenty of room in one of the large suitcases for souvenirs!

My dad should be out of the hospital on Tuesday. My friend will arrive Thursday, and we are out of here at 7 am on Friday. Should arrive in Orlando at 4 pm. We are hoping to get to the Radisson in plenty of time to go over to Shirley's shop. HOpe she will still be open. HOpe too the weathere willl be nice. Our last cruise , it was rainy all day Saturday and we were late departing. Oh well, we will be on vacation so I suppose it won't matter.

Mary, I like your idea of standing in line and then switching. Would love to be one of the first on board. Anm going to cancel the parasailing at Castaway Cay. Decided we would just play in the water. We didn't really snorkel too much in Feb. the water was pretty cold.
What do you guys do with you kids while you are at brunch and Palos? Last time William had his sister and brother, but this time it will be just him. I am hoping he will like the club. It was too crowded for him last time. Don't really want to leave him alone too much. Perhaps he will meet some of the other kids at the Radisson on Friday night.

I bought another suitcase, but still have not packed. I just don't have enough time lately to get it done. I haven't even put the decals on the shirts. Dryer is broke so laundry is piled up, won't be fixed until Tues. Went to Pittsburgh Sat for DS#2 parent day, so nothing trip wise done that day. Did make it to Wal Mart today to buy the things on my list. Working all night on Hockey tournament. Have meeting tomorrow night with all my tournament helpers so can pass some of it on to others. I will be the one at the internet several times during the trip with hockey folders in hand trying to solve all the tournament problems. Hopefully, I can have most of it taken care of by the time we leave for the cruise.

I'm off on Friday, so I will be the wild women trying to get everything done and get to the airport by 5:30pm for our 7:30pm flight. The older I get the more I put things off. Years ago I would have been packed days ago.

Elaine glad your dad is doing so well.

Jul We will have to talk scrapbooking. I was like you, but really got into it. I put 30 years of vacations into one large scrapbook in the past year. Plus have done one for each of my sons. It is fun.

Everyone have a safe trip and see you all at the Radisson on Friday night if you are still up. If not Sat morning.

Good Morning All,

Back late last night from WDW Pin Trading Week-end....Have come to conclusion that pin traders (including DD )are nuts !! Lines from inovations out to parking lot !!!Just amazing....
Any way...only "news" I garnered is that American Express will no longer be 'the card' at WDW..Contract will soon be up..There is talk about early opening starting again for holidays,but no difinative answer yet.
We will be returning to WDW on Thursday..if any one needs last minute Mickey "things",let us know....

Badgerboy ~ Nothing happens - Usually ships sails around bad weather, similiar to airlines changing altitudes. Sometimes you get to go to different ports of call than planned. CRUISE ON!!!

Sorcerer1 - Can you use military assets? Chrystina & I buy ALL our tickets at the ITR office at Ft Rucker using our AMEX. Works best for us - You get those "good til u use them" tickets and AMEX points too. Think we still get DVC discount (10%) but I,like you, are oftentimes confused. I just ask at most registers - AMEX, DVC, military, AARP, etc? Take whichever one gives me the best answer at the time - Works for me!!! - Low stress since most times I want what I bring to the register...

Ok, don't mean to be a pessimist (sp?), but even though the hurricane has moved it, won't the islands they hit be ravaged? We had plans in Cozumel to go to Quintana Roo, the news shows that it was devastated. I hope everyone is ok.

Vonda, when Isadore hit Grand Cayman it was a Tropical Storm, just some slight damage, nothing to worry about. The hurricain force winds did not hit Cozumel. I have corosponded with several people in Cozumel and they got a bad rain storm, with some limbs down ect. Since it will be 8 days until we are in GC and 9 before we get to Cozumel, I am sure everything will be back to normal.
I am a little worried about Tropical Depression #13, which looks like it is heading into the Eastern Carib. and may cause us a change of plans/ports.
As Mike said, as long as we are kept safe, if we go to other ports then planned, there is nothing we can do about it. It will still be a great trip.

Dennis, glad you made it to Dixie OK. I will NOT be sending another list on Sat. because I will be getting on board the Magic Sat!!!!!!!If anyone wants to be added to the List, speak now!

Bette, sounds like you had FUN! Get any good pins???

I see from a post on the previous page that we all don't have to be there at the same time to check in. I'll be dropping the clan off and then returning the rental car to Avis. When do the DCL documents get handed in - at check-in or upon boarding? And if DW has all the docs with her when she checks in, will I just need my passport to check-in afterwards?

Have you been able to get ahold of Eagle Ray Divers? All of my emails have been returned for several days. I hadn't been paying attention to the storm status. Maybe this is why? Did they send you a confirmation to send a check for your deposit? We have yet to receive anything.
