Here is my WOW of the day.

This morning my older DD tells me that she saw pictures of the cruise ship. I know that there is a short film about the cruise line on the Little Mermaid movie, so I thought that maybe they had watched that. But then she tells me that daddy showed her. He was showing her pictures on the computer. She said that he showed her Castaway Cay, Lumiere's and the Kid's Club.

I am amazed because I never thought my husband would look at Disney stuff himself. He is excited about the trip and he likes Disney, but I am the planner. He doesn't generally look at anything unless I direct him to it or ask him to look at something to get an opinion.

I can't wait to talk to him when he gets home to find out what it up.

I got my documents!~

TA mailed them priority on Saturday (8/16) and they were delivered this afternoon!

I also ordered close to $200 from Shirley for Michael and Mom.
I also made reservations for us (me and Michael, 7 - Mom opted out!) with Nicki for horsebackriding on Grand Cayman ($58.50/person).

I feel like I've been a way for a MONTH!LOL! I have caught up reading now that my family reunion is over. The first of my sibling to arrive came in last Wed, the last to arrive (therefor last to leave) fly out tomorrow. We had a BALL!It was alot of fun showing of my adopted city of Charleston. I even took a bunch of them on a carriage tour of the city!
For anyone who is looking for a very lovely city to visit, Charleston has a many things to offer!Even though it was fun, I must admit that there is some stress when "hosting".
My neice Jayne and her DH were asking lots of questions about the cruise. They live in Florida, and are thinking of joining us in 10/03 for a DCL cruise!I also think my "baby" brother and his wife may join us too!

PINS! Both my kids are big time pin traders. Mostly they trade with CMs! I got them each 3 really cool NY pins when in the Disney store in Manhattan in July. One is a fireman Mickey, one is a policeman Mickey, and one is the Statue of Liberty Minnie! I am going to try to stop on the way to Florida at the Disney store on I- 95.I'd love to pick up a bunch to trade. I'll see if they have any SC ones (I'll be happy to get one for William too!)

Info on Cozumel...there is a show on HGTV called "The Good Life" and they are broadcasting a show featuring a couple who bring people for diving and snorkeling trips in Cozumel. The show is on Sept 6, at 1pm. I am going to miss it, but if anyone sees it, I would love to hear about it.

Got my documents today!!! After a truly lousy day at work (don't tell anyone, but there are bad days at the Disney Store), they were waiting when I got home. I had a workman at the house, and he signed for them. Not too careful on the part of FedEx, but at least they are here.

Loved the song very very clever. Sang it all day to no avail, not even a UPS truck today. I need a logistics question answered, for the people who are standing in line for the brunch do you guys not need money for this and how are we getting it to you or do you want it at the sailing party. I will probably be waiting (or Barbara) trying to get dinner res. and maybe a high tea something we did at the Grand Floridian a few years back and loved it. Still brutal weather up here, gave up trying to save the lawn, if it comes back fine but I have serious doubts. Hope tomorrow has the Fed Ex wagon parked in my drive. Kathy about hospital mix-up ... but hope that the test was negative. Myself, have to have some bloodwork, x-rays and nerve testy thing on my paw. Also an antibiotic cause she wasn't too thrilled that the cyst or whatever is hot .... from there it's on to an orthopedic. I told them I have a vacation and cruise coming up and they better not rain on my parade! Why is it that we let things go too long.

Still no documents here either ... darn it.

Wednesday I'll be working out of town and hitting up my fav store to get the last few name-tags laminated. New guys, get me your names before Wednesday AM if you can.

Not one of my better nights ..... heading off to watch the football game and bed.

Took Amy to the doctor today. she has a rash. The doctor said that it is viral and that it will run it's course. Thankfully it is not bothering her.

Hello, Hello to all from Ramstein Germany!!!

I don't know yet if our documents came or not. Will try to find some way to call my neighbor and see if they got them. I left a note for FedEx to leave them next door. I hope I hope.

Weather is HOT!!! for Germany. I was hoping to get cooler weather while we were here. Bummer.

Work is calling. Take care, will try to post more later how the habits and nuances of the 187th Medical Squadron in Germany.

Hello!

It was just one of those "tests" the doctors like to do and won't let you eat or drink for hours on end. Then they give you some NASTY stuff to drink that dehydrates you. Yuk!
Anyway all is fine.

Cathy, hope you will be ok. Please don't let it go too long. We want you hale and hearty for our trip. We talked all about the cruise to one of the nurses at the hospital and she was ready to drop everything and come with us. (I found out why later)

My DD1 called us as we pulled up in the parking lot at the hospital yesterday that the docs were here. It made the wait so worth it. We got home late yesterday and Mike found the box and let me open it since I had had such a hard day. Wasn't it sweet. Then he grabbed it. He is such a child at times. That is what makes me just love him.

Isn't it just amazing how we can type a few words, push a few buttons and VOILA message goes around the world. Hope Chrystina had a nice stay in Germany ... Don't work too hard.

Hope Anja & Eric are still OK and high and dry. From TV it looks like so much history and beautiful buildings suffered a lot of damage.

Hope my docs come today ... realllllllly need a Disney fix.

Got a letter from DCL yesterday. Did you know that excursions can be booked up to 60 days in advance? We received a list of all the available excursions for every port as well as the order form to return via snail mail to DCL. I'm so glad they sent this to me, otherwise how would I have known?? I might have missed the opportunity to book one of the more popular excursions.

I think they are using the horse that pulled the Wells Fargo wagon ,in "The Music Man", on the Fed Ex delivery truck. No documents here either today. Maybe my DS Patrick got them and didn't leave a note. Little better here today little rain and the humidity is suppose to break tonight but only for a day. Keep dry in Germany this weather is nuts. So long for now!

George & Barbara--about brunch reservations. I guess we can discuss this again as it gets closer, but my suggestion is that a few of us get in line as soon as possible with "The List" in hand and ask for reservations for the whole group. I honestly don't know how they will respond to this request. It's possible that the first one of us in line can reserve for us all. It's also possible that they will limit the number of reservations each person can make. Either way, they only need the last name and stateroom number to make the reservation. The $10 per person charge is not made until we actually finish brunch and sign for it. Of course, they hope will be in a good mood after the meal and will leave giant tips.

Reading over the documents got me even more excited. Don't worry if you haven't gotten them yet--I'm sure they will be here VERY soon.

I just sent my e-mail to Captain Marvin's. I cannot believe how much I want to do this trip, but I hope I don't wimp out when I'm actually face to face with a stingray. Hopefully, you guys will give me courage. I figure the worst thing that could happen is that I enjoy seeing all of you with the rays while I watch from the boat.

I assume that they'll e-mail me to confirm. Right?

I am a little chicken too. i am not sure about getting in the water with the stingrays. I think Bill and William will be fine. Also, I am so squeamish, I wasn't sure about feeding them with the "ickky" fish. Don't laugh at me I am usually adventurous. But when it comes to fishy things NOT. I don't even like to fish. Anyway, am still looking forward to the trip. Karen, we can hold hands together
