So...here's a blast from the past!! How are you all doing? I really miss chatting regularly with all my Dis friends! So much going on in my life, so little time for playing on line. Papa, do you and Cathy have new Granddaughter? My little one is 7 1/2 months old already! Doesn't seem possible. All the notes about "surprize" packages and name tags makes me even sadder that I won't be joing you. I did get to cruise last week on another ship (RCCL will never be Disney!) Took my niece on a western caribbean cruise to celebrate her college graduation. Took the competition because of special "agent" promo. Yep, I'm still selling travel, still working as office manger for my host agency. Has anyone heard from Erik & Anja? It's been ages, and I just wondered how they were doing. Well, I'll let you get back to you "normal" group of chatting. Just wanted to stop in and say "hi". Send me an e-mail sometime. I'll check back here occasionally, too. Have a wonderful cruise!

Hello JNoel! So very nice to hear from you! I just got a letter from Eric and Anja. They are comeing back to the US next Oct. and we are planning CRUISTOBERFEST II for 10/03. Maybe you can join us??!!
Glad to hear you grandbaby is doing well.
What ports did you visit on your Western cruise? Any advise you can give on the ports would be welcome!

Just back from our game .... We won! It is to much fun to see the guys just before they get called up and get the real $. Sad to see them go, but fun to say I remember him when. I'm afraid the the Phillies are about to raid our pitching staff. Tonite's pitcher is 11 and 0........ Mary, how did your team make out?

JNOEL ... are your ears burning? Art & I were just talking about you guys and the shows with Dan & Scott ..... can't beat that entertainment. Could you elaborate between RoyalCaribbean and Disney. We've only ever sailed Disney and wonder what we are missing or not missing. How are the other 2 musketeers (your girl friends)? Tell them we said "Hi" and wish you could join us.

I see some of you have received "the package". Remember, if you have any questions, just PM or E-Mail me. If your package wasn't big enough for your family, let me know and I'll see how we can fix it. I've kept a list of who was issued "the package" and would appreciate know if they all got thru OK. Now you have an idea of what else you can pick-up at the Raddison the night before departure or at the Sail-A-Way Party Deck 10 by the Goofy Pool.
(I think that is what was planned for our DiS meet)

Well AshLee is beating down the door to get into our bedroom for the air conditioning cause it's past "her" bed time.

Check on you tomorrow ... plan on going Strawberry Picking after BF and then need to pick-up a new skimmer for our pool ... the other one threw up and died!

Hey Dan and Scott, a buckeye for your thoughts Glad that you had a good time Cathy. Traffic was horrible yesterday around Manchester for the bonnaroo festival. It was backed up on I-24 for 20 miles at one point.

Kathy and I are going to either put up some shelves in the storage barn or go see a movie today. We saw windtalkers the other day and it was ok. Really waiting for men in black II to come out.

Double digits how sweet it is. Sure wish that Dan and Scott along with Pooh Nate were going with us. Icing on the cake would be for JNoel and Kathy along with Myra to join us.

We are still going to have a great cruise along with our other old and new friends. Have to run as the little taco bell dog is bouncing on my leg to be let out. Guess that she has got to go bad. Mike

My oldest son is engaged! No date set but she is a lovely young woman (also finishing up her college education to IUPUI) and they are very well suited for each other!

Am I ready for this at age 47? Ohhhh my!!!

Let's hope that I am a good mother-in-law!!

Finally got 2 letters from DD.They both arrived on Fri. She had a blast at summer camp. I picked her up today, Sat.

Spent the morning working with my Starfish team painting the lobby of our office. Unpaid time, but we are trying for Team of the Year! And we WILL get it! We are, by far, the best team!
Got to run, DD brought home a ton of dirty laundry. So glad to have her home, I don't even mind. (much)

I am taking the kids to see Lilo and Stich this afternoon. DH and kids did not camp on the ball field last night. It has been raining all night and all day today, so it was good they headed home after the game. The Riverdogs kicked butt last night! They hit 5 homeruns (we have been going to see them for 2 years and I have never seen a ball hit out of the park until last night!)
Rae...congratulations on DS engagment (is that what you say when someone gets engaged???) Best wishes to them both. I am sure you will be an awsome Mother-in Law!

Anyone that got "the package" and didn't legally provide your mailing address. Hope I didn't offend you by looking you up on SEARCHBUG. DH said that maybe I shouldn't have done that.

Art & I went and picked 17 pounds of strawberries this AM. OMG are they sweet and juicy. Now all I have to do is hide when I am eating them so DD AshLee dosen't beg for her half. She loves her fruit (except bananas and blueberries, they get spit out like peas!)

Art's working on replacing the skimmer in our pool as I speak. Not sure who is hotter him outside or me in a house with no air cond.

I guess you can tell I'ts getting closer to Cruise Time ... I've had to resort to a realllllllllly large plastic storage unit for the stuff I've started to assemble for packing.

Mike .... Art's up for snorkeling (except with the "mushrooms") and just got a new snorkel set up. Now he wants a boyancy (spelling) vest. Anyone have an idea of where he can look for one on the net?

Well chores aren't getting done by themselves ******it!

Just came back from Lilo and Stitch. Very cute movie. I heard that the DCL make an appearance and was watching carefully for it. It is at the VERY end of the movie. My kids spotted it before I did..
The sun is finally out after 3 days of rain. I am not complaining we really needed the rain, but it is nice to see the sun again!

I saw a thread from Wildone. Hopeing he/she will join our thread.

Now to find the light blueshirts! And of course I will have to find my iron. If I start now I may find it in time for the cruise. I know I have one because I saw it the last time we moved. Let's see, that was March 2001. as my DS says "it has to be somewhere."

What do you guys think of having the DCL photographer doing a DIS Cruisear group photo at our Sail-A-Way? They take the picture and if you don't want it, you don't have to buy it ... but at least that way everybody can be in it! I put out a thread on how to do and got some suggestions that I'd like to try if there is enough interest.

I wore out one corner-rounder on the name tags BUT one way or another they will get done. You see once they were made and laiminated (to make them durable and waterproof) they are then kind-of tough for my punch. Now I have an idea of using one of my scalloped sissors. If anyone needs to be added ... I get my info from Mary's list (RellingTwin).

Mary ... 5:30 Sounds good to me. It would be voluntary on each families part. BUT just think a really good picture right away so for us "seniors" with bad memories, we could get together and be sure we have names for most of the faces. You know left to right!

I'm working up a "package" for Viking (Anja & Eric), so they will know what they are missing HeHeHe. Also Dave & Ellen. It will include honorary DIS Cruisears name tags, etc.

Last night at dinner Art asked if anyone is getting together to go to Palo's. He just dosen't want to miss the "lobster night". We hadn't done the Brunch yet and I was looking at the "spread" on Ahnalri's (spelling) Western Pictorial Report. WOW

Back to work....

Hello girls and boys,

The brunch is done on at sea days. I vote yes on brunch it is not to be missed!!!!!!!!! Have been busy the last few days. When we go to wally world today(walmart) we have to hunt for some light blue tee shirts.

Cathy as far as a snorkeling vest art could check any of the scuba shops or any of the scuba equipment web sites on the internet or locally. Mike
