Good Morning Mary and Joan.
Busy yesterday so didn't get a chance to jump on. Joan don't feel bad about the new address . Mark said to put it in your signature but how do you copy and past or what? . Was going to call Mary and Mark last night but went out and got back to late.
Joan Rog sure saw a nice game last night. That was one of our Sea Dog boy piching.
Well today its back to work I have had my two days off. I shouldn't complain its ony 4 hours a day.

Joan they are a OLDteam. They are trying to live and die on Mike M and Andy P . Both of those pichers are in there late thirty's.That is old for those two.
The avarage age for the Red Sox pitching staff is 23. Example John Lester is 22 and Dustin Masterson is 20. J Papalbon is 24.

Anyone got plans for the holiday weekend? Going to be low key at our house. The normal cleaning etc. and also some work in the garden.

Here's the reply I got back from DVC on updating the website:

Thank you for contacting Member Services.

I do apologize for any inconvenience.

As soon as the details have been finalized, then the Member Cruise web
site will be updated. We do not know when this happen. They are hoping
to update it very soon.

I had asked that they pass the message on to Marketing that they need to change the website because they are still mentioning winter. I also said that I understand wanting people to be surprised but here we are 18 weeks out and we don't even know the theme. So the above really confuses me why do things have to be finalized to update and announce a theme?

Come on DVC - we know you are better than this!

We are off tonight after work to Little Rock Arkansas for the week end for Scott's best friends wedding. We will be back Sunday. It's about a 9 1/2 hour ride so we will do half tonight and half tomorrow. We have to get there at a decent hour so Scott get get his tux before the store closes and the wedding rehersal. We weren't invited to the rehersal dinner so I guess Roger and I will have to find something to do. Monday I am walking/running a 4.4 mile race with my exercise buddy. Should be interesting. It's on the Airforce base and runs past a memorial where every one drops flowers.

Good morning everybody. It's a beautiful morning here in Maine although we could use a bit of rain for the lawns and gardens. Had a good day at work yesterday had about 100 visitors to the fishway.
Mary did you and say by selling your Vero time share you were going to use it to buy in Hawaii ? Did you have any trouble selling .
We paid off our Wilderness Lodge in January and we got the deed or disney's version there of HA HA. Now we just have Saratoga to take of.
I would love to take Nancy to Hawaii.
Joan you are only as old as you want to feel. Im 65 but thank God I don't feel like it. I just keep trucking .
Can't believe how the time is flying. Sept will soon be here .

I agree...they could have come up with a better excuse. We just want to start planning based on the theme. Maybe this will at least get them moving a little faster.

As for this weekend....we are headed to Atlantic Beach, NC tomorrow. And I can't wait. Due to the events of Rheya coming so early last year I didn't make it to the beach at all last summer.

just popping in to say hi. Seems like my internet issues have spread to home. My DSL is not working so I haven't been able to post anywhere. I decided to come in earlier to work and post before everyone forgot who I am .

Next week I will be AFK unless the Westin offers free WiFi. If they do, I will stop in and tell you about the Westin Kaanapali on Maui and whether it is worth the DVC exchange. We have a day planned on Oahu and we plan to drive to Ko'Olina and see if we can see any work being done. I will take pictures.

Have fun at the wedding. The race sounds like a great activity for Memorial Day and I think the part about going past the memorial and dropping is a flower is beautiful.

Yep we sold it through Shontell at DVCbyResale. She's a friend from the very first Member Cruise and has been on most since then (I think she missed 2006). Thanks to DVC we stayed at Marriott's KoOlina last year and would you believe while we were there we ran into Shontell! At that time we were talking about selling our Vero contract and maybe buying into Marriott. Then DVC announced they were building there so we went and put Vero on the market right after the first of the year. We got a buyer in April and just signed off the final paperwork yesterday. Now we just wait for the check and we'll put it away until they open up Hawaii in a couple of years. Mark talked to our guide when we were in WDW (she called to see how we were doing) and she is going to put us on the list to call when they start selling.

Ko'Olina is a great location There is construction going on there that isn't DVC tho - the plot of land DVC has is right next to the Marriott hotel(top end of the picture), the building being put up next to Marriott's timeshare(the larger buildings near the bottom) we were told is a condominium of some kind, might be finished by now.
