Happy holiday weekend everyone!

We are busy here preparing for a barbeque birthday celebration today for my mom and sister. I am having a veggie platter, cheese dip with pretzel thins, baked beans, po boy steak sandwhiches and Daisy hot dogs from the grill, potato salad, chips, fruit platter, birthday cake and ice cream! I am also making a punch bowl full of home made Sangria.

Gotta go finish cleaning up the kitchen and wrap gifts soon here! Have a great weekend everyone!

Just came back from seeing Indy and now we're watching a bit of the Indy 500 (though we'll enjoy the Coke 600 better this evening). Looks like we are going to get some rain so some of the gardening will have to wait.

Is anyone interested in creating a Grand Gathering for a Magical Fireworks cruise on Sept 18th? That's the one where Capt Hook and Mr Smee come out for a photo op before you sail. We'd need at least 8 people for that.

Otherwise, I'll book the regular Wishes cruise on the Pontoon boat, and try to get others to join in to share the cost.

We don't get in until Friday either. We did do the Wishes cruise after the 2006 Member Cruise with a group and it was a lot of fun.

Member Gallery Update!

Thank you for everyone's patience - I finally got the Member Gallery Updated. Here are the updates:

2Princess2Pirates - Kristin and her lovely family are joining us. She sent me her info in mid-April when I was in cruise mode for our April cruise. Stop on by and see her beautiful familiy!

Trishy - I received an e-mail from Trish and sadly her and her family won't be joining us. It has been a hard year for her and her family and they decided to change their vacation plans for this year. Sorry to see you go Trish!

I've added a link to the main page to the trip report we finally finished on the 2007 page.

One last thing - please check over your listing and if anything is missing please let me know. My apologies to Dave (manascarfan). He had sent me a room change for his and his party. Well I had the change on my spreadsheet but I never made the change on the webpage itself. Sorry about that! So if anyone else sees something that doesn't look right let me know.

Second wanted to let everyone know to please come and post and let us get to know you. This is based on a thread on the main forum on are the cruise meet threads too personal. Yes some of us have cruised before but really this thread is open to everyone. There hasn't been much cruise talk because DVC hasn't given us much. However if anyone has any questions please ask away. If you are a lurker and haven't sent your info just look at post #1 on this thread for info on how to do that. How much info you send is up to you!

Well the rain held off and turned out to be a nice sunny day here! Everything went well and we have some leftover barbeque food to eat today as well. Lots of storms in the middle of the night, but once again we have the sun!
