That's too funny. We met a guy named Jeff on our 2006 double dip who works for DVC and lives in orlando. We ran into him last time at Saratoga Springs.

Not that I can tell, although there were some evacuations in Lake county this week. We've actually been getting some rain lately.

Good morning everyone - happy Friday!

Hope Joanne is enjoying her road trip.

I'm looking forward to the long weekend to get some stuff done around the house and also get to relax a bit. Seems like it has been go, go, go lately.

Looking forward to getting back on the Wonder and hopefully all the fun DVC has in store for us.

Quick cruise question...

This will be our first one with a baby...are there strollers onboard or should I bring mine? I can't recall seeing any in the past but very well could have missed it since I didn't need it.

I think the only strollers I've seen on board have been brought on by the users. I know they have wheels chairs to loan out but not strollers. I know one DISer said she kept hers in the bath tub when not using it.

We've brought our big stroller when we were in a cat 4 so we just parked it by the verhanda door/steamer trunk, we have also brought our umbrella strollers and put it in the closet when in a cat 5. We did not use our personal ones on CC because we just used the ones they had there(big jogging ones bigger wheels easier to push in the sand)

Jennifer - nice to see you posting. So tell us about your new job!

We're heading out soon to a garden center to pick up some flowers for the yard. It has been a little chilly the past couple of days but looks to be warming up for the weekend. I also need to head out to the cemetery and put my Mom's flowers on her grave.

Good morning all from Little rock Arkansas.

What an awful drive from Florida to here. Very little interstate. Lots of farms and trucks. We left Thursday after work drove until 10. Stayed in Vicksburg Miss. Then three and a half more hours in the morning. AS soon as we got here Scott left us to go play with the boys. We havn't seen him since. We are a little miffed since we are the only ones beside family who drove this far, how could we not it's Scott's best friend. But we have not been invited to any thing but the wedding. The rehersal dinner was last night and I just saw all the women having breakfast together. Oh well. There is a music festival right outside the hotel. So Roger and I went last night. It was nice. I am not a country music fan but Huey Lewis was the last act last night. So that was a highlight to our evening.I went out for a walk this moring and there he was having breakfast in the restaurant!!!

Let me tell you- there is nothing in Little Rock. We walked up and down streets yesterday. ALL the stores are empty. I grew up in NY so cities don't scare me but this one did. Very empty and the only people we did run into were homeless. It was kind of creepy. This morning I walked from our hotel to the Clinton Library and back.

Every one have a great week end. We hav,'t seen $4.00 yet but it's close 3.89 Mississippi was cheaper about 3.79.

There are spots here in Indiana that are selling for $ 4.19 . Most places that are smart are $ 3.99. I suspect that there are some stations that are gouging people because of it being Memorial Weekend. I am sure there will be a rash of reports of price gouging to the our States Attorney office on Tuesday Morning.

I am so glad that we are flying to Florida next week and not driving.

Our gas is up to $3.94 in some places but most places are $3.89 and I will drive my Suburban 12 miles to Costco and fill up when I am on "E" for about $3.62 a gallon and that is for regular. I am so glad I do not have to pump premium. I actually saw on the news last night that the bay bridge usually get tons of traffic durning the Memorial day weekend was smooth sailing with no major delays. If we decided to go to Maryland, NY, NJ or anywhere north we would be on the bridge and sitting in traffic but I guess with gas prices that high people are not driving as much.

Happy memorial weekend to all!
It has been a busy one for me we had a garage sale and did real well, then I had a flight to seatle on my way to Fairbanks Alaska. My best friend who is closer to me than my sister grandpa passed and ages not taking it too well. Her mom called me at 2am Thursday and asked me to fly up at her expense for the funeral and wake. I was able to get Tuesday and Wednesday off so here I sit in Seattle waiting for my flight to Fairbanks. Its a little bittersweet for me in july it will be 3 years since I last seen her. So I am incredibly excited and very sad at the same time.
I will post some pics when I get home. Have a good weekend.

Good morning everybody it's a beautiful day here. I hope it is as nice tomorrow for the prade's.
Today Nancy and I do the flowers at the cemetary for my Mom and Dad and Nancy's brother. We usually get inpaintents they do well all summer.
Between myself and my boys we make sure they a kept up.
Joan I hope you and your Mom and sister are having a great time on your trip.Have a good time a the World.
In September Joan when we travel to port together we plan on buying the gas thats the least we can do. Also Nancy thinks the Idea of going to Jelly Roll's on the Boardwalk would be fun.
