Happy Friday all,

This is the frist Friday in the past four weeksnd I have no where to go!!! I am exciting to have nothing to do this week end. Other than graduation tonight and lots of house work. But I see pool time in my future.

It is also extremely hot & humid here. Graduation is outside and we are going to melt.

Tina - sorry to hear about the extra work. Congrats on booking the cruise before for just the two of you. We'll miss you at the Beach Club meet but know you'll be having a good time. Happy belated birthday to Tim!

I stayed late yesterday and finished a good chunk, but Saturday is not going to be a full day off! I need to leave early today to drop girls off in Schaumburg with their Dad. I'm sad to miss the meet also, but I know Castaway Cay will help me forget it, just a bit! The kids and Tim's dad and grandma are staying at Beach Club, so I will tell them to stop by and introduce themselves to all of you!

Its hot and humid here as Mary stated early! But, I'm loving it! I would rather have it like this than snowing and cold! This is the time of year that I dont mind being outside! If the rainstorms hold off and its looking pretty promising, then the day would be a good one!


PS Those pics of the Hawaii DVC area are beautiful...I never really wanted to go to Hawaii, but now that DVC is going there, I may just want to go out of curiosity!

Howdy everyone.

Well I started Spanish Class this Wednesday after work. I have only been to one class and I feel like I am so far behind. The teacher must believe in immersion techniques. She speaks mostly in Spanish. Most of the class has taken Spanish sometime in thier life, so they understand most of what the teacher says. Me and two other ladies are so confused. But I will study and catch up. This week we have already learned:

Also we have to memorize the alphabet. That is a weird one. most of the letters are the same as ours, they just have different names.

Seriously, that looks pretty good I took spanish a llooooooooooong time ago, as in back in HS.... Don't remember a word from that anymore, but my job is 95% hispanics, so I now have a pocket book when I really need to put together whole sentences in something other than pidgin, as I'm picking up words here and there all over again just from use.

Good morning everyone - happy Saturday. Going to be a quiet weekend here. Meeting up with some friends tomorrow from my Sears days. We try and get together about once a year. Always good times catching up.

Good morning All! Cheer camp was a blessing - in many ways! This weekend is nothing but chores to be done. A good work weekend will make me feel like I've accomplished something though.

I checked the website last night just out of curiosity. Realizing this is our first Disney cruise, so there is nothing else with which to compare, I must say we decided if Disney were trying to build suspense and make this something memorable, they'd be leaking information. Since they seem to be having a difficult time deciding on a theme, we have decided they should do a Disney musicals theme (named something like "The Supercalifragilisticexpealidocious-Zipp-a-dee-do-dah Kings of the Songs Cruise") with Julie Andrews, Elton John, Frank Churhill, Jodi Benson, and the many others who have contributed to or made the Disney music over the years. We think there may be some repeats from the Legends cruise, but maybe not - we were not privy to the guest list then. They could even hit the younger set with some High School Musical stars. So, now we've done the "work" for them. They just need to secure the responses to their invitations. Enjoy the day everyone!

Just got back from our turn doing the Relay for Life for American Cancer Society. It's a hot one here today. Both Amanda and I are a little red from the sun. We both used sun block, but it is from last year's cruise. It might be expired! Have a great Saturday everyone.
