I just got another day off! My store had been without power since Sunday and still doesn't have it. The power co. is saying maybe tomorrow. So, I get to use a sick day and stay home. Last week I was in meetings all week, so between that and days off, I haven't worked in my store in 10 days. I am starting to miss it. But it does give more me time to DIS

Yes. There are homes without power still including some of our employees. So it only makes sense to fix those first. If we don't have power again tomorrow, I get to go in and scrapbook with one of our managers and get paid for it. I didn't stay today because I was in work clothes and w/o air conditioning. its hot in there!

Annette - hope the power is back in your store though a day of scrapbooking sounds like fun.

Went out last night for dinner and a movie with some friends from work. Saw Sex and the City. Definitely a chick flick and it was fun to see it with girlfriends. A few were huge fans of the show (one had already seen the movie and was seeing it a second time) while the others like myself were more casual viewers.

According to my countdown, Amanda and I can do the double digit dance!!!! Woo Hoo Only 99 days to go

Amanda and I were discussing Pirate Night just the other day, she thought it was Monday and I thought it was Tuesday.So I can't answer that. Also, I like having the Pirate Party earlier. We have late seating dinning and always have to rush to see it. As far as a buffet goes, we are usually too full from dinner to eat more. Or the line is so big that it's just not worth the time!

We too are always too full. But I so wanted to try a turley leg. I was going to save room this year and not eat much dinner. The lines last year were so long and it was so late I just needed to sleep.

We went to Palo's last year on pirate night so we were so full . You do miss getting your bandana when going to Palo's but we got those nice DVC wine glasses.

Just came in to take a coffee break im outside trimming the shrubs around the house. Boy did they need a hair cut.
As we speak Nancy is on the phone getting our travel ins. for Sept time is flying .
Im glad you guys are on top of dates. Nancy did correct me on the time when we call for Parlo's. The week of the 21th.

I thought I read that it was only for that one 4 night cruise and that the 3 night right after it was back to the normal time. Could have just been a test.

We got a pair of those in 2005. A very nice memento of the night. That was the night we first met Amanda and Annette.

Thanks for the reminder Dan - I need to call for that as well. As for Palo - Call in date for the Castaway Club Members (90 days out) is 6/23/08. So Sunday night the 22nd at Midnight Eastern, 11 pm Central, 10 pm Mountain or 9 pm Pacific.

If I remember correctly they always try (or have to) have it on a port day not a day at sea. So that would be either Monday or Wednesday and I don't see them having it on the last night especially since that is the night all luggage etc. needs to be out.

Seems like I got another souvenir from Hawaii I didn't count on - pneumonia. I have been in bed for the past 5 days. When the doctor told me, I liked to fell over. I knew my cough had gotten worse, but had no idea it was that bad.
