If there's even something that could remotely have the potential, they put a big yellow fuzzy circle on it, there's zip, zero, nada out there.

Yep it is a picture of there door. For some reason I took a picture of their fish extender that year and not our own so when people ask about the fish extenders or door signs I have that to show.

Doesn't it get crushed when the oh-so-polite baggage people delicatley place your bag in the plane with eveyone else's?

If you wrap it in bubble wrap - going around the contour not just the general shape - then "stand" it up and brace it with other things, it should be okay. I guess it really depends on how full your bag is and how big the tiara is. A box is your best bet, but I have seen this work. Another mom used a round baby wipe container, placed the tiara around it and wrapped the whole thing in bubble wrap. Hers made it fine too. So I guess that is another idea. Or you can ditch the tiara and go for a head scarf/bandana!

Actually, I believe it's a DIAMOND TA-RA-RA - at least that's what Lisa Douglas called it on 'Green Acres'! Mr. Drucker had a sale on them in his store and I believe Mr. Haney might have had one on his truck!
