Well Deb and I knew this day was coming for the past few months. I think we decided that we are gonna put our dog "Pooh Bear" down before the Dismeet June 18th. So I guess now we need to figure out what we should feed her for her last meal. I'm thinking Filet Mignon, any suggestions?

I'm so sorry to hear that. It's always such a hard decision to make. Is Pooh Bear pretty old? I think a t-bone might be a good last meal if she can chew it.

Yeah she's pretty old, 17 to be exact.

Yesterday Brandon destroyed the screen on his iPod so today we went to Orland Park Mall, the nearest Apple Store, to see what could be done. We showed them the iPod, they took my info then told me I needed to pick out a case for it. They said if I bought a certain case for $35 they would replace the iPod for free! Otherwise it would be $170 to replace it. I couldn't decide what to do. We though about it long and hard... Which color case should we get? Brandon chose the white one. We got home and after I synced it up to the computer I was looking at a video on the iPod. He was riding his bike, recording him and his friends, then he crashed. Yes he actually filmed the destruction of his iPod! Clicky At the end you can hear him realize that it broke, there's a little no/moan.

Sorry you guys are going through this! We went through this not too long ago as well. My plan was to feed him all the hot dogs he could eat. He _loved_ hot dogs. Unfortunately, he had a crisis and we had to put him down in an emergency situation. Just pick Pooh Bear's favorite things and give him lots of extra love and cuddles.

You're right, Apple service does rock. Last year on the member cruise I got into the adult pool with my iPhone 4 in my pocket and fried it. The first stop after we got off the ship was an apple store and they replaced it for free. After each replacement I was informed it would be a one time oops deal.

Your ds is correct, it wasn't very smart.

I dropped my iP4 in a cup of coffee. I shut it down, gently rinsed off the stickiness then put it in a bag of rice for three days. When I took it out, it was working. I really lucked out there.

What really sucked about taking iPhone4 for a swim was that I was really looking forward to taking video and pics on the cruise. I bought iMovie to edit video and make movies to post for the family to see on the Internet. Oh well, stuff happens but at least I was in paradise which helped me cope with it better.

The straw that broke my back to buy my 1st iP3G was that I wanted to be able to check us in on Southwest while sitting on Main Street. And there I saw, having connection issues. Of course, this was _before_ there was an app for that.

We might be heading over to Orland Park tomorrow to see what can be done about a broken iPod. Yes...the iPod that was swiped two weeks ago was in DS's pocket when he somehow managed to fall down on his bike. So much for him getting an iPad later this year like he was planning...all of his money is going into the iPod! One of these days he'll learn a little more responsibility! Kids!!!! Sheesh!!!!

Beginning to sound like one of those 'Priceless' commercials:

Something like that. Can't wait to read Junior's response ... he came up with an ingenious recovery of the iPod, which he should have been very proud of ... until this week.
