13 different eye shadows

....

- I slather on the SPF 50-70 (skin cancer running in the family will make you paranoid)

Whoa ... that's a lot of eye shadow. Makeup just melts right off my face in Florida. So, I tend not to bother. Sorry folks!

I use the SPF 70 Nutrogena as well. I have really sensitive and easily burned skin. So, I use the 70 and reapply about half way through the day.

I don't think we'll pack jeans. They are heavy and take up a lot of room in the suitcase. I think I can get away with capris and I'm going to pick up some khakis (two each) for my guys to wear to dinner. I think the guys will wear shorts the rest of the time.

I wish I was a light packer. We're going to WDW the Friday before the cruise and doing a B2B cruise from the 22nd to the 25th. This is when I miss the washer and dryer in the DVC room. I can't imagine doing laundry on the ship...yet with three kids, I may have to break down and do it. Yuck! I read that a good time is to do the wash is during the on off process between cruises...we'll see.
Oh! I also booked our flights today. I don't usually but I keep hearing how airfare and gas is going up. I've been checking Airtran daily and this morning they had posted our dates finally. I got roundtrip from Philly for $190. That's cheaper than any other sites I was looking at...and those other sites seem to only be going higher. Now I just have to decide what 2 parks to visit before the cruise. I'm hoping the MNSSHP will be on that Friday. I'd love to see MK for decorated for Halloween. Well, that it. Night everyone!

Per Robert at The Radisson Resort at the Port, QUOTE: "The shuttle to and from the ship and parking during your cruise are complimentary no matter what rate room you book."

After he said that, I just said "Ok thanks, bye". And then thought I should have asked what the difference was for the cruise special rate they advertise. I THINK it includes breakfast. For some reason I think that's what I remember them saying last year when I called and asked. lol

That's great that you found a good rate through Southwest!!

Happy Valentines Day to you, too!!

The Cruise Parking Package is $139. That includes breakfast buffet for 2, parking, and shuttle to port.

I will be at Disney in 18 days!!!!

A girls' weekend getaway! One of my friends is using her points to put us up for the weekend! We are staying at Boardwalk!! I cannot wait! I have made our ADRs, here they are....Fulton's Crab House, Todd English's Blue Zoo, Wolfgang Puck Cafe, and Kouzzina for breakfast on our last day. We should have a good time. If anyone is down there between March 4-7, ya better watch out!!! :rotfl:

I've done the FE's before but we didn't have nearly as many cabins as we do for this cruise. The amount of items depends on whether people give cabin vs individual gifts and if the deliver just one day or all days.

Maybe we should all agree that it's ONE gift on ONE night? :goodvibes

Do you usually dress up for the dinners?

This is our first cruise (well, it'll be the second after the 9/15 before it). So, no "usual" for us. But, since DCL requests no shorts in the dining rooms, I'm going to tell the boys they have to "dress up". Khaki's and a button down shirt shouldn't kill them, right?

If you use firefox instead of Safari you can have the multiple tabs kind of like Windows except the bar is at the top.

I've figured out the tabs in Safari. But, I get messed up when I try to use multiple windows. :headache:

Four finger swipe down will show you all the open windows on the Mac, four fingers up will take you back to where you were. When you have it showing all the windows, click any window and that becomes the active one on top.

That's helpful! Thanks! :goodvibes

MK closes at 7pm on the 16th, so there should be a MNSSHP that night.

I'm planning on doing my laundry while we are docked at PC between cruises. I may make a magnet or something to put on the machine stating that we're on the B2B in cabin #8568 and will be returning for the laundry. That way it won't be mistaken as "lost and found" by any CMs.

Congrats on booking your airfare. I'm still waiting on my Southwest credits. :headache:

Keep in mind that it's Bare Escentuals and 9 of them are these teeny jars that come in a hard plastic box. The box itself is about 4-5"x4-5".

Just thought I needed to share this: I have been looking at flights to and from Orlando for the member cruise and when Frontier published hteir rates recently I was shocked. Frontier is only offering 1 direct flight from Milwaukee to Orlando. Goign down is not this issue as we are going down the day before but coming home that is another story. There is only 1 direct flight going home and it will be close if we book that one, flight is 12noon. So it looks like I am staying over 1 extra day and I am looking at WDW. So since I can't use my points I am looking at the other hotels. I have narrowed it down to Port Orleans Riverside and Popm but I also just found a great rate for the Swan or Dolphin. I don't get it, why only have 1 direct flight from Milwaukee and hte other flight, is a connecting thru Denver!

Hello Jennifer :)

Have you tried Southwest, United, Jet Blue, American Airlines, Delta, Continental, Hotwire, Priceline? My fave is http://www.airfarewatchdog.com I hope this helps! And btw, did you know about WDW 25-40% off hotel rates?
Here's the link:

OK, how can I put this nicely???

Please remember that DCL does not allow people to board the ship once they have reached their 24th week of pregnancy.

With 7 months to go, that is kinda a little over the 24 week limit.

Tomorrow is Valentine's Day.

So how about going out for a nice round of miniature golf instead?
:rolleyes1

:rotfl2::rotfl2::thumbsup2.

Now that is funny!! Good thinking.

Hi!

When are you flying out of Philly? The kids and I will also be flying out of Philly on Airtran. I had been checking their website and the last time I looked the flights were all listed over $300. I was like :scared1:. Checked today and they updated them to $78 for the nonstops I am considering. Plan to book tonight or tomorrow.

We also do the MNSSH. :thumbsup2

Jennifer.. Where are you in Wisconsin? We are from Madison and usually have very good luck out of and back to Milwaukee. We usually fly Southwest or Airtran. I have found for some reason that it is cheaper to book 2 one ways.

Good idea on the laundry magnet

Hello everybody! I am back. Finished the series I was listening to and will now probably be experiencing withdrawals

On Saturday we were able to visit with Ian and Laura and their friends John and Sherry. We had an excellent time with everyone and hope they are enjoying their cruise. Ian surprised me with a very special gift and managed to horrify :scared1: and delight :lovestruc me all at the same time. This is a Christmas ornament he made but I think it needs to be displayed year round. I took pictures to show everyone and share.

I believe the leg in the shark's jaws may belong to Santa

This was the logo for the SSMC2010

Here are pics of Wally and I in our pirate gear with Pirate Mickey, Mickey Mouse and the captain's wheel at the port, our Fish Extender and our cabin door covered in magnets.

Here is the shark picture spot at Castaway Cay with a photoshopped pic of Wally and I at the DISmeet gathering the first day. I am wearing a t-shirt in Ian's honor that has a picture of a shark in a circle with a line through it and says "I hate sharks!"

Thank you Ian for the absolutely most perfect souvenir to commemorate the SSMC2010. Words would never be able to express how much it really means to me. Ian, YOU ROCK!!!!
