LOL I was one of the guilty ones of referring to Michael as "DS". Sorry!!! I should pay more attention.
Also, very sad to hear about the Master Sgt in NY. That's just horrible!
From what I saw on the news, there were plow/salt trucks that actually got stuck in the snow. When it's coming down that fast it's very hard for the snow plows to keep up. I'm not trying to stick up for your local town's snow removal or lack thereof, I'm very critical of our city's LACK of snow removal even in a 2 inch snowfall. But, in the big snowstorms (especially the ones that pretty much paralyze the community) I know it's a very tough job for guys driving the plows.
Someone had asked me once on here why Junior doesn't plow our driveway. Well....that's because he's not an independent driver. He actually works for the Town of Merrillville. If he were to plow our driveway he could get fired. There would be a lot of really ticked off taxpayers wondering why their tax dollars are paying for personal snow removal from a driveway.

I didn't want whoever asked that to think I was ignoring the question (I forgot about it until today, and I don't remember who asked...sorry!)
Well...I need to get off this computer and go get some cleaning done. DD has been sick this week, so I've spent most of my time at home cuddling with her on the couch. We went to the Dr. today and she has strep throat (sp?) Poor little girl...I had that once and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy (that is if I had a worst enemy....I don't have enemies!

)
Stay safe of snowstorms and earthquakes everyone! Oh, and tomorrow stay safe in the thunderstorms, too! Thunderstorms in December!!!!
