Wow John you have a better relationship with your GPS than I do. I mainly just tell mine to shut up when it is recalculating for the millionth time after I miss another turn.

Yep, been there. I kinda think after telling me a few times, "recalculating", because I decided to go a different way, she (the British female voice in my GPS) should eventually just cuss me out and tell me I'm on my own. Know what I mean?

I have a name for my co-pilot (DW). I call her "the Nagigator." (boy I really hope she never logs on here)

There are names on the GPS for the various voices. Like the US has Jack and Jill. I think one of them is Sheila, maybe Australia? Anyone else?

I have the same feeling. DW uses a British female voice too. I think she sounds disappointed when she has to say, "recalculating' repeatedly. I wish the GPS units would 'learn' that we have preferred routes, and they are better for one reason or another over their route. Even though their route works, often it takes a longer time over what we know.

Wish it was sooner. Are you kidding? We've to wait 10 1/2 months before we get back down there.

I know what you mean though. Always wish vacation was closer than it is, beginning as soon as it ends.

Is yours a Garmin GPS? We do. I believe that Karen is Australia. The Brits are Daniel (I think. Not going out to the car to check.) and Emily. I love GPS. Got the first one back in 2004, and not many folks had them then. Now, they are almost as ubiquitous as iPods!

Hi everybody! I thought I'd share a few pics as promised from our trip.

This is Luke the horse who took us on the Haunted Carriage Ride at Ft. Wilderness

These are some of the creative designs people came up with to decorate their golf carts for the golf cart parade at Ft. Wildnerness.

We went horse back riding while we were there. My horse is Minnie and Wally's is Bugsy.

The Hit Girl costume was a hit I got lots of great comments from castmembers and some who pleaded for Hit Girl not to kill anyone at Magic Kingdom I don't know what it is with me and weaponry but I was thoroughly searched by security. The guy kept asking if my grenade was a toy I was like, yeah, of course I mean seriously,it looks and feels like plastic AND its bright yellow

Here is one of the cooler costumes we saw there.

Duffy in his Woody costume at Ft. Wilderness.

Duffy went boating on Bay Lake. Wally's teaching him to drive a boat

Minnie was thrilled to see Duffy at Chef Mickey's in his Buzz Lightyear costume

Yep, Garmin Nuvi. I'm not going out to check either. GPS's are in threat of being replace by phones, but right now the larger screen and speed for doing what I need seems better than my phone.

Thanks Debbie This was the first time we have watched it. This year it was the day before Halloween. I'm not sure if they do it all season or just once.

We are having a great time! We went to Hoop Dee Doo on Saturday also. Tomorrow we have the Segway tour

We are VERY excited to meet you and George too! We are looking forward to this trip much more than usual! Getting to meet people who we will know before we sail is a wonderful (magical?) opportunity!

Are you doing the Fort Wilderness Segway tour, or the Epcot one? We have done both, and the FW one is the BEST! We had such a blast the first time we did it, that we had to do it again this year!

Thanks John nd you're welcome! They do a lot of neat stuff at Ft. Wilderness. It was awesome driving around the golf carts and seeing all the decorations that people put uparound the RV's and cabins!
