Hi Amy,

Hang in there. We were on the Wait List for the SSMC 2010 until about 2 or 3 months prior to sailing. The only bad thing was, being unsure if we were even going, I never bothered posting here. Then I was too far behind to catch up and meet everyone. You're way ahead of the game by staying in touch with us. I'm pretty sure your "ship will come in."

Besides that ... I've already included you with people from Florida going on the cruise (and posting here) in the list of who is from where. I re-post it every now and then as new people join the forum. I think it is kind of interesting knowing how many people are from your state or region, what areas have strong/weak representation, and how far away people are coming from.

Awww, thanks! I haven't been hanging around too much, just in case I get disappointed. But, I'm still hopeful!!! We cruised on the member cruise in 05 & 06. We felt that it lost a little of the magic, but we really want to give it a try again, especially since it's on the Dream and it's the 20th anniversary of DVC.

Watched the float out of the Dream this morning!! Now, I'm even more hopeful that we get our waitlist!!!

We are at The Cabins @ Fort Wilderness...they are cute.

My husband would really love to stay at the cabins. Are you using points?? I do hope they do a DVC at the campgrounds. I would stay.

Perhaps this is the reason:

On connecting verandah staterooms, the partition between verandahs can be opened to create a larger balcony for sharing.

But weird that they are open now.
