That sucks....
That is exactly why we bring passports and have trip insurance (because the weather and apparently some cruise lines can be a MOTHER)

The very first SSMC was in February. Now they're in September (and October I guess next year) I have a hard time understanding why DVC chooses HURRICANE season to do the member cruises!?

I mean, don't get me wrong...last year's SSMC had the absolute calmest water I've ever sailed on, but I don't think that's typical for hurricane season.

Yup. I've been through several hurricanes and this doesn't look that bad to me.

THIS WINTER WILL BE OUR 3RD CARIBBEAN CRUISE OUT OF SAN JUAN. WE TAKE OUT THE INSURANCE FOR FLIGHTS ETC FOR THOSE ONE BECAUSE OF THE SNOW FACTOR UP HERE. PRINCESS IS USING JET BLUE AS THEIR AIRWAY TO GET US THERE. I LOVE OLD SAN JUAN.. THE SHIP DOCK RIGHT INFRONT OF SENOR FROGS THIS LAST WINTER. WE COULD CRAWL BACK TO THE SHIP DUDLEY VISITED THE SPANISH FORT THERE. HAD HIS PHOTO TAKEN IN MANY SPOTS. LAURA JUST ABOUT MADE DUDLEY A CRUISING CASULTY IT WAS ALMOST DUDLEY OVERBOARD

yes its slow season so dvc guarantees a full ship for dcl. I think they raise the price for our cruise too.

THIS WAS US DOCKING IN OLD SAN JUAn. THE BOW OF THE SHIP ALMOST REACHED THE ROAD SENOR FROGS IS DIRECTLY INFRONT TO THE LEFT OF THE SHERATON. WE STAYED IN THE SHERATON LAST YEAR. SENOR FROGS HAS FREE TEQUILA. YES I GOT IN THE 20 SOMETHING GROUP STOOD ON MY CHAIR AND BUMPED AND GRINDED. THEY WE ALL HAD TO DO THE CONGA LINE AND ONE BY ONE TIP OUR HEADS BACK AS THEY POURED TEQUILA INTO OUR MOUTHS UNTIL WE SHUT IT LAURA THOUGHT I WAS NUTS

Hey Karen - WOW! I think we need to stay away from that CC/Hurricane Irene thread. They're not very nice over there! I'll just stay here in my safe/happy corner of the DISboards with my SSMC friends.

Love how he apologized, but continued to rant as well. All I can think of what that he was annoyed at other posts and took it out on you. Because I didn't see anything incorrect with your post.

I had this long response about why I don't understand why he let's it bother him so much that people may post inaccurate info. But I decided to just accept his apology and leave it at that. No need for me to get all snippy back at him.

There can be some really mean people here on the DISboards! If something like that were to happen with kids it would be called "Cyber bullying"!

Nice to know he was more sincere privately.

Personally, I'd be more ticked off at the CMs who give inaccurate info than the guests who do so.

And yes, the DIS does have a pretty bad rep with other Disney boards for the sniping that goes on here.
