Work is going good. I haven't been as tired during the day as I thought I would. I've been busy which is good but not so busy I'm stressed. I have been relaxing in the evening.

Glad to hear Mary.:)

Well I'm not Kelly but I can answer this. They are two different resorts. Great Wolf (which I think used to be called Black Wolf) is right at the exit. Wilderness is off the same exit but down the road a bit. It is huge and has a hotel and condos. We've never stayed there but it looks nice.

thanks. We stayed there when it was the black wolf I like the place. It is very nice. I like the decore to. Remindes me of wilderness lodge at the world.

Yep, Mary is right. They are two different places. I like Great Wolf a whole lot better than Wilderness Lodge. But both offer indoor waterparks and I imagine you'd have a great time wherever you stayed. Great Wolf also has a condo section now. They added it on a few years ago. We stayed in a three bedroom for Cory's birthday once and it was beautiful!

And you would not recognize Chula Vista since the renovation. It is a completely different place. Its still not my favorite, but they offer some really great deals to get people there. I think they had such a bad reputation and people don't want to go back. I was hesitant at first - but its totally worth it.

We will have to try the great wolf with all the new editions,

thanks

Chris,

We always go to Fulton's Crab House at DTD. I like there crabe and lobster. My husband also said they have the best steak he has ever had,

Good Thursday Morning!

Flo - Hope something comes through for you soon.

Kelly - I'm not too bummed about not going to the Dells this time. What I'm really bummed about is that the last 3 years we have driven down to Disney for Spring Break and this year we are not since we are going in June. But as of this weekend we can start to book our dining reservations for our trip!     I'm so excited about that! I think we have a plan as to where we want to eat.

So, what are everyone's favorite places to eat while at Disney? Our favorite is Raglan Road at DTD. That is a must do for us. How about you? :flower3:

I have not had the pleasure of eating at many of the Disney restaurants and I am hoping that will change. But, I must say that 'Ohana was my favorite restaurant from my last trip. We had dinner there I (and the rest of my party) loved the food and the variety. DS liked the food too and he liked shaking the maraca with all the kids when it was time for the parade around the restaraunt.

Found this on the regular forum and thought this was interesting. This is the first time I have saw it. I like it. I think it is a good idea.

We had it done twice on our Feb. 8 and Feb 12 cruises. We asked if it was being done for DCL or Homeland security, and were told that it is a requirement of "US Border Control."

Basically, the way the system works is that you check in for your cruise and get your KTTW card. Then the whole family takes your boarding pass (the group number card) with your KTTW cards and each has an individual photo taken. When you board the ship for the first time, we didn't need to show our photo ID again--the mug shot we'd had taken an hour or so ago showed up on their screen. You don't get a copy of the picture or anything--it's just a security mug shot.

It was NOT another long line or anything. SInce most people go over there directly after checking in (this is what you are supposed to do if your whole party is there), the line is just the last people who checked in. There were maybe 3 families ahead of us, and there are 3 or 4 stations doing the photos.

Photo IDs are still required for anyone 18 or over getting on or off the ship in ports.

They do take "Welcome Aboard" family photos if you wish.

Also, the numbered boarding pass they give when you check in, They now stamp the back of it and take that as well when you board.

Wow! I wounder why they do the boarding passes? They can't re use theim if they stamp the back. Thanks for the info.

Good morning everyone - happy Friday!

So glad the weekend is almost here. While I'm very happy to be back at work that doesn't mean I don't crave my weekends. :lmao:

I'm pretty much caught up at work which is good. I've got some training classes coming up so I have to prepare for those. I was supposed to be in some these past few days but the focus on those is for our accounting department so I was able to take a pass and catch up on my regular work. The other cool thing is originally 3 of us were supposed to go up to MN for training the week of the 23rd. The lead talked to her boss and mine and they made the decision to move the training to our facility. This is a little more costly but this way more people can attend. Best of all I don't have to fly that soon. Needless to say I was thrilled.

It does look like it is going to be a beautiful day here in Chicagoland. I'm looking forward to it.

Have a great day everyone!

PDFG and all our friends who need it.

Happy Friday everyone!
Anyone have exciting plans for the weekend?

Have a great day.

Nothing exciting here.

Just enjoying the weather, even though it is supposed to rain tomorrow. But it will still be in the 50's.:)

Have a good one.
