Hi, everyone!
I had a great birthday and anniversary weekend. It was my grandson Nick's first time ever away overnight without mom and dad. He is the one who was adopted from Russia, and my daughter is quite protective of him, and making sure that he knows his parents are always there for him. Well, he is 4 and Makayla, my other granddaughter is 4 and she came to spend the day Sat also. Cameron is almost 2 and he was here also. They had a great time. My Maltese, Riley, loves the kids, but he was exhausted when they left. They are a big rambunctious...can't spell, but you know what I mean. Makayla cried when she had to go home, and Cameron hid from his mama also. Nick was in 7th heaven being the ONE to spend the night in the bunkbeds.
Work is very tiring and I am ready for a nap when I get home. Hope that ends soon.
Russia has made adoptions very difficult, and making the parents come 3 times to Russia before releasing the child. So, DD and DSIL are looking into domestic adoption again. I just pray that they are able to adopt another baby. They are such good parents, and they are not getting any younger. DD is 39 and DSIL is 40.
Mary, I hope everything is going ok for you. Bless your heart. You have had a time of it.
Have to start thinking about my fish extender gifts. I just love that.
It snowed a lot today...with ice under the snow. Hurry up spring. Poor Riley has to wear a sweater to bed, and the snow is too deep for him to go outside to potty...good thing he goes on those puppy pads.
So, what I gather is that I should try to get on the computer at midnight at the 90 day mark to try to make reservations for Palo etc., right? I love their food. I have been able to get in there on my other cruises by checking when I boarded...I am sure that won't work on the member cruise. We all know too much!!! I swam with the dolphins my last cruise at the Atlantis in Nassau...and booked a day room which we never made it to. It was fun, but I would rather do a day at Sea World in the Cove. Till they added the tip, tax and photos onto my little excursion in Nassau, I could have paid for the entire day at SW.
I could do a comedy skit on me putting a wet suit on. I kept putting it on backwards...and I kept going up sizes because I could barely breathe...felt like a shock suit...and everytime I got a bigger size, I would still put it on backwards...I laughed until I peed myself! They thought I was nuts, I am sure. I could have won $100,000 on funniest home videos! The dolphins are just so amazingly smart. I loved it.
Well, I have to get up early for WORK...yikes...turned 59 on my birthday...6 more years to work if I make it, that is.
Good night everyone!
Susan
