Hi, everyone!

I had a great birthday and anniversary weekend. It was my grandson Nick's first time ever away overnight without mom and dad. He is the one who was adopted from Russia, and my daughter is quite protective of him, and making sure that he knows his parents are always there for him. Well, he is 4 and Makayla, my other granddaughter is 4 and she came to spend the day Sat also. Cameron is almost 2 and he was here also. They had a great time. My Maltese, Riley, loves the kids, but he was exhausted when they left. They are a big rambunctious...can't spell, but you know what I mean. Makayla cried when she had to go home, and Cameron hid from his mama also. Nick was in 7th heaven being the ONE to spend the night in the bunkbeds.

Work is very tiring and I am ready for a nap when I get home. Hope that ends soon.

Russia has made adoptions very difficult, and making the parents come 3 times to Russia before releasing the child. So, DD and DSIL are looking into domestic adoption again. I just pray that they are able to adopt another baby. They are such good parents, and they are not getting any younger. DD is 39 and DSIL is 40.

Mary, I hope everything is going ok for you. Bless your heart. You have had a time of it.

Have to start thinking about my fish extender gifts. I just love that.

It snowed a lot today...with ice under the snow. Hurry up spring. Poor Riley has to wear a sweater to bed, and the snow is too deep for him to go outside to potty...good thing he goes on those puppy pads.

So, what I gather is that I should try to get on the computer at midnight at the 90 day mark to try to make reservations for Palo etc., right? I love their food. I have been able to get in there on my other cruises by checking when I boarded...I am sure that won't work on the member cruise. We all know too much!!! I swam with the dolphins my last cruise at the Atlantis in Nassau...and booked a day room which we never made it to. It was fun, but I would rather do a day at Sea World in the Cove. Till they added the tip, tax and photos onto my little excursion in Nassau, I could have paid for the entire day at SW.
I could do a comedy skit on me putting a wet suit on. I kept putting it on backwards...and I kept going up sizes because I could barely breathe...felt like a shock suit...and everytime I got a bigger size, I would still put it on backwards...I laughed until I peed myself! They thought I was nuts, I am sure. I could have won $100,000 on funniest home videos! The dolphins are just so amazingly smart. I loved it.

Well, I have to get up early for WORK...yikes...turned 59 on my birthday...6 more years to work if I make it, that is.

Good night everyone!

Susan

Good morning everyone - happy Tuesday!

I'm sitting here dressed in work clothes for the first time in a month. :lmao: Bye bye to my comfy sweats and t-shirts. Got a welcome back e-mail from my boss yesterday (I think she thought she was sending it to my work account but it came to my home account). She outlined a few things that she didn't get to that are my responsibility (these particular ones all come at the start of the month) so I have a few things to tackle when I get in. All in all this is good as it shows they really do need me there. :) They all involve computer work so nothing taxing at all. In fact most of my job is computer/desk work which makes it easier for me to go back this soon.

Flo - thanks for the link on the builder site. Nice to see they have started!

Linda - have fun at the competition and at WDW.

Marsha - glad you and your son enjoyed playing in the snow.

Dianne - thanks for the pixie dust. I'm sure it will help me get through the day.

Susan - sorry to hear that work has been wiping you out. Hopefully it will get better. I'm sure I'm going to be pretty wiped by the end of today. No mid-day naps. :)

PDFG and all our friends who need it.

Good Tuesday Morning!

Good luck on going back to work today Mary. I'm sure you will be very tired by the time you get home. But it has to feel good to be getting up and going this morning. Just too bad you can't wear sweats to work. I know I wish I could! :rotfl:

Susan - what a busy weekend! Sounds like you all had a good time. I hope work gets easier for you soon. :flower3:

Good Afternoon All!

Mary - I hope you had a good day at work.

I am home today with DS because his daycare was closed. It's good getting a chance to spend time with him. He is sitting on my lap now trying to help me type.

Hope everyone enjoys the rest of their day.

Great link Flo - thanks for sharing it with us.

I'm home from work and not feeling too bad. Not as tired as I thought I would be but I'm pretty sure I'll sleep well tonight. I am already in my pj's so just will take it easy tonight and watch some tv. :)

Well that didn't work..
The article says Disney will make a decision later this month on which port it will base one of it's older ships permantly at. Either San Diego, or San Pedro (Los Angeles area).
I'm hoping for San Diego..

Mary - glad your day at work wasn't too rough on you. Hope you get plenty of rest tonight for tomorrow. :cloud9:

Flo - thanks for that clip. It was great. Can't wait to see the new ships! :cool1:

Susan, I know you must be tired. I have 4 grandchildren Ryan 11, Heather 8, Madison 5, Vivian 1 1/2 and one to be born any day now.. due March 13th.

When this one is born... I will pack up, and head south, for about a week...its about a 4 hour drive. The tell me its a girl...planning on calling here Reese Daniel.

I'll have to go shopping for the baby (fun) My daughter thought when she had Vivian she was done:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: God had other plans. I'll bring my other Grandaughter (Madison) with me ...she can help me keep Vivian happy.

Good morning everyone - happy Wednesday!

Ready for another day of work. I still am not sleeping through the night but feeling like I'm getting enough rest. I'm sure the sleeping will happen with time. I kind of surprised myself that I wasn't as wiped yesterday as I thought I would be. Here's hoping that today goes as well.
