Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!

Good morning everyone - happy Tuesday! Quiet evening on the thread last night. No new posts. Everyone must be getting ready for the Thanksgiving holiday. So what is everyone doing for the holidays?

We will be having a quiet Thanksgiving at home with just a few relatives visiting. It will be really nice.

On Friday we will be out with the "crazy" people. We make a whole day of it with a nice lunch and hair appointments in the afternoon.

Ok Guys! I tried. Radisson will not budge on the rate of 129.00. I told them there is a group coming in at the end of October that got 109.00 rate and they told me impossible, that they see nothing. So the only 109.00 rate you can get according to them is the one that is on line and you have to book it and pay for it right away. Sorry!

It looks like we will be staying at WDW the night before on points.

Not a problem! I have done this for are baseball trips for parents and have always gotten something. I did not want to tell them to much about the B.O.B. that are there at the end of October. I did not want to ruin it for them.

We used to go out with the "crazy" people but that was when my son was little. Now we will go out but not till at least 11:00.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! I'm so grateful I found the DISboards so long ago. It has been and will continue to be an excellent source of information as well as get to know and continue to meet people with similar thoughts and views of Disney. I am thankful to have friends, extended family and co-workers who are also addicted but really do enjoy the chance to meet wonderful people!

It looks like many of us will be staying at WDW before and after SSMC09. The bus could be an excellent solution while saving everyone money too (depending upon the number of people).

Good morning everyone! I was up in the middle of the night (as you can see from my earlier posting) but slept in this morning and didn't get up until 6:30. Believe me that is late for me as I'm usually up between 5 - 5:15.

We are thankful for so much and yes these boards are part of it. We've met so many wonderful people thanks to the DISboards.

Our plan for today is to watch the parades, then some decorating, then a nice quiet dinner for just the two of us.

I will be heading out in about a 1/2 hour to drive down to my mother's assisted living facility to have dinner with her and sister #2. Then I will be heading over to sister#1's house and maybe having a second dinner.

The outside decorations are done (though we need to buy a few more boxes of lights). The stuffing is made and is baking in the oven. The turkey breast will go in the roaster in a few minutes. The tree is up and will be decorated tomorrow.

All in all not a bad day here at our house. Hope all is well with everyone else.

Wow what a productive day!


I haven't decided whether I am going to put up my decorations this year. Since I will be gone for 12 days and won't be back until the 14th, I am debating with myself whether I want to decorate this year.

Well I have to be productive early as I go out of town for business Sunday afternoon and won't be back until Thursday. Plus I'm having some girlfriends over for our annual holiday get together and I want to make sure everything looks good.

I know where you are coming from. When we've gone away in December we haven't done as much. In fact in December 2004 when we did the 10 day Christmas Cruise we did very little decorating.

12 days at WDW - I'm green with envy! Are you going to the DVC Merry Member Mixer? Those are always fun and a great way to meet up with fellow DISers.
