Is anyone going to WDW in August? Have you seen this announcement? Last Tour to Endor

It is on the night of my arrival day for my trip with my nephew. So I splurged and ordered 2 tickets tonight. Hopefully we will keep the surprise and he won't know until we get there.

Hello DIS Friends

I have not been out here in what seems like a long time but it actually looks pretty quiet these days. There have only been a few posts since my last visit.

I hope everyone is doing well and in good health.

Hopefully everyone is just busy and enjoying Spring.

Hello Everyone. Haven't been on for a long time it seems. Glad to see everyone is doing good.

Today is my youngest DD's birthday. 14. Can't believe it. She can't wait to get her learner's permit to drive. But I can. And then tomorrow is our oldest daughters 17th birthday. Gosh, that must mean I am getting old.

Today we will celebrate Brooke's birthday and then my sister is having her kids' graduation party this afternoon/evening. She has twins and they graduate next weekend. And then that means my Becca will be a Senior in High School. Nooooooooooooooooo! Time has flown by too fast. Oh, well, whatcha gonna do?

Well, we were in Florida last weekend at this time. We went down to spend it with our friends who live in Sebastian. Wow, what gorgeous weather we had. Went out to the ocean on Saturday with them for lunch and drinks and I love to watch the waves come in. It was beautiful. Then we also stopped for drinks at Disney's resort at Vero Beach. What a beautiful resort. We can't wait to stay there in September. On Sunday we went back up to WDW and had a room at the Boardwalk. We were in room 4001. The last room on the fourth floor clear down by Jelly Rolls. I mean right next to Jelly Rolls. But we had a great view of EPCOT! Wow. We loved staying at the Boardwalk and will try to stay there again. We didn't do too much while there. Went to EPCOT for a while then hung out by the pool. How relaxing that was. Sunday night we went to the Flying Fish for supper. I have one word for that place, BLECHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. We didn't like it at all. Neither of us. So we will not be going back there ever again. But at least we tried it.

Then Monday we had to come home. Bummer. We wished we could have had one more day but we had to come home.

I know this is getting quite long and I need to get to laundry and I need to be getting my self ready to go help my sister. Hope everyone has a great day and talk to you soon.

Robbie - the Star Tours thing sounds fun. We'll be in WDW in July but only for a day and a half before our cruise. I know we are doing Magic Kingdom to see the Main Street Electrical parade. Note sure if we'll make it over to the studios or not.

Lisa - yep busy at home, work and on some other threads. I read here everyday but don't always post.

Chris - isn't Vero pretty. We used to own there and have visited a couple of times. As for 4001 at BWV - we've stayed in that room! Great views put a long walk from the elevators. We did find the stairs were really great especially if we were coming back from either the studios or Magic Kingdom and got off at the Swam/Dolphin.

I'm getting together for a late lunch today with some old work friends from my Sears days. Best of all we are getting together in the town I grew up in so I'm heading down early and walking around the old neighborhood.

Robbie - We won't be down there till December. My DS is very disapointed that it will be closed. That was one of all are favorate rides. Hope the new one is just as good. You will have to let us know how it was.

Lisa - Just wanted to say hi. How are the kids/ Keeping you busy I am sure.

Chris - They are getting older but we are not. Sounds like you had a great long weekend.

Wow, it sounds like you have been busy between birthdays, trips, etc. I still haven't tried Flying Fish. I have had it in my plans a couple of times and both times ended up cancelling.

Hi Lisa! Yes we seem to have slowed down on here these days.

I'm getting together for a late lunch today with some old work friends from my Sears days. Best of all we are getting together in the town I grew up in so I'm heading down early and walking around the old neighborhood.

Had a fun time at lunch even though one friend was a no show (and no call). Pretty typical of her though. Still it was great to walk around the old neighborhood and a nice lunch with the friend who did show.

Mary - how funny that we have stayed in the same room. It was a beautiful room with a wonderful view. And yes, we took the stairs most of the time since they were right there.

Hope everyone is doing well, we have been very busy lately as I am sure everyone is. Miss everyone and can't wait for a get together!

Looking forward to the long weekend next weekend, as Gary (aka OKWMEMBER, also the Gary of it's all Gary's fault and Pirate Master!) and his wife Gail, are making the trip up to spend the weekend at camp with us!! We are really looking forward to seeing them again as we will be cruising to Alaska with them in July of '11.

Hi everyone!

Flo - our room was a one bedroom. Very nice. I really enjoyed it and can't wait to stay at the Boardwalk again in November when we go for Food & Wine! Not too far of a walk after all the food and um, wine we drink.

Prom went good. She had a wonderful time. Thanks for asking.

Yesterday my niece and newphew graduated from High School. Wow. Hard to believe. Seems just like yesterday they started school. Now, in just 9 days - that is when school gets out - my DD will be a Senior! She can't be. No, not gonna let her. Yeah right!
