Hi Everyone!

Happy Monday!

Hope you all have a great week.

:surfweb:

Hey everyone!

Hope all had a great weekend.

Dave - wondering how Tanya's mom is doing? I hope and pray everything is going good there.

We have just learned of something going wrong with my mom. Evidently she has been living in severe pain all winter long. She didn't want to go to the Dr. while in Texas because it wasn't home. Now that she is back, Dad took her to the Dr. and she has a mass/tumor on her bladder. I guess she is to go to a Urologist on Wednesday to find out more. I suppose to do a biopsy or something. They really didn't know what was going to go down. But, ughhhh, I don't know how much more we are able to withstand. What with my FIL (lung), BIL (brain), MIL (colon), and now my mom. It just seems so unreal. Like we are doomed from both sides of the family. Just venting I guess. Sorry.

On a good note, we have been trying to get the oldest DD ready for her Jr. Prom this weekend. We have the dress, the shoes, the flowers, the hair appointment and her mode of transportation to the school. She is so excited. This will be her first Prom. Her dress is beautiful. And is so much like her. She is getting really excited about going. I hope she has a wonderful time. She is bummed though that her younger sister got invited to be a server at the Prom since she is an eighth grader and her older sister is a Jr. But it should be alright (I hope).

Goodness my girls are growing up so fast. Hard to believe.

Well, I have probably talked your ear off for tonight. Thanks for listening you guys. You are the best, ever!!!!!

Chris-Tanya's mom is still getting platelet injections, they just don't know why they keep falling. She has been fighting it for over a year. I hope everything works out for you and your family , you have had a rough run. I hope your daughter has a great time at her Prom! Can you believe we are old enough to have kids this old? Where does the time go?

Wishing all my Deck 9 friends and fellow cruisers a happy and healthy week!!

Hello!

No time for updates. Have not posted in a while. Brief chats with a few on Facebook but still wanted to stop over real quick to say Hello!!!

I miss chatting.

But.......JUST ONE MORE DAY until my last 'regular' class is done. My last group project :worship::worship::worship:

I need to finish up my final quiz still but I am almost there.

This was me last night :surfweb: into the early morning hours.

Thinking of all of you and hoping many of you are able to stay 'positive' and 'keep the faith' during these trying times. You know you always have the love and support of friends out here :grouphug: That is what always keeps me checking back in to see how everyone is doing. Because everyone genuinely cares about each other. :flower3:

Here's hoping you all have an :littleangel: watching over you and your families.

I will check back in once I finish up everything for class tomorrow night.

Regards!!! :flower3:

:surfweb:

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you all! I knew that I could come here and get support. It means a lot. It truly does. :worship:

Just too tired to celebrate at the moment so I will let the SMILIES do the celebrating!

:cool1:  :woohoo: :dance3: :yay: :cheer2:

One more masters course completed. One more to go.

Sue,

At DD's school they are asking the kids to bring in pictures of family and friends that are currently or have previously served our country in the military.

They are working on a Memorial Day bulletin board to honor all those serving our country.

I immediately thought of you and your son. We would be honored to include him as one of DD's friends. If you would like him to be included, let me know and I will send you a PM with my email address to send the picture and other details we will need.

If any of our other DIS friends out here have served in the military and would like to be included get in touch with me. I'd like to work on this with DD this upcoming week so get back to me as soon as possible.

Hello My Fellow SSM09 Friends!

How are you all doing? How is the weekend going?

I had a great day. We went to the Cubs game and had great weather. It was a nice family day. Vince Von sang the 7th inning. We had great seats to. My son got them from a vender.

Take care and pixie dust to any one that needs it.

:surfweb:

Flo, Hi! Glad to hear that you had a great time at the Cubs game. :goodvibes

It was a great day here also. I ended up going into Boston with some friends and we walked the Freedom Trail. For some reason, I have never actually walked the entire trail before. I have been to a few of the stops but never the entire trail. We had an awesome time and it was great walking weather.

Good morning everyone!!

Not much happening here, camping and running the roads for soccer and dance, our usual.

Hope everyone is fine, have a great day!

Checking in as well. Hope everyone is doing well. I'm doing ok but Mark is passing a kidney stone :scared1:. Thankfully he's on some good pain meds.

Have a great day and a great week ahead everyone!

PDFG and all our friends who need it.

well, things are back to normal here. Had Mom in the hospital with breathing problems, she is OK now, they kept her over night and she is back to her old self.

Missing all of you,

Wishing you all well and may all of your dreams come true.

Have a great day.

Mark hope everything is better for you soon, :wizard:

Sending a quick :wave2: to all my DIS friends.

Hope everyone is having a good week.
