Flo - just curious, but I thought I had guessed 3 or 4????? I don't really remember for sure so maybe I just thought I did. Which is probably the case.

Thanks Sue. Just hoping surgery goes well on Wed. I hate to say, we didn't buy insurance - never have - because if we can't go we have lost a lot more than our money. We have lost something much worse!

But, she wants us to go and have a good time. Besides, DH's witchy sister will be down with her to take care of her. So, I'm sure everything will turn out fine. It just has too!

DIS meet bag (buttons, raffle gifts, etc.) - packed!
Computer backpack - Mark has checked it over and just need to add the notebook
Food/snack bag - assembled but need to pack
Road bag (trip book, road essentials) - assembled but need to pack

So I'm feeling ready to go!

Joanne - It takes about 23 hours to drive to Florida and about the same for Texas. So, yep. Lots of driving. And thanks for the good wishes for my MIL. She is actually having surgery on Wednesday to have the tumor removed. She told us Friday that the cancer is only in that spot and has not spread. So that is good news.

I hope that everything goes well.

So... we all know when our next Disney vacation is..... coming up QUICKLY!

But, when is your NEXT one? already planned?

I do not have one planned at this point....

We won't be doing the theme parks this time around. We're just flying down for the cruise.

But we will be taking another trip to Florida Oct. 17th. We'll be staying in a Grand Villa in Kidani Village with some friends of ours for three nights. Then we move over to the Treehouse Villas for four nights.

We've been planning this one for awhile too and the kids are really looking forward to it. Heck! I'm looking forward to it!

I've also got two more crusies booked for next year. I better find a job soon!

Hi everyone! Boy you were chatting last night. 8 pages in 12 hours!!!

Anyways I have a couple of more questions:

1) Is soda available during the day and is there a cost?

2) When Sandi & I went on a DCL cruise back in '04, they had a wine package with dinner. We didn't do it, but I was wondering if they still offered one.

There is soda available. You can get it for free on Deck 9 at the beverage station. I like to bring refillable Disney mugs with us so that we can bring it back to our room. They just have smallish paper cups at the beverage station.

They will bring you soda from room service, but they charge for that.

They do offer a wine package. I'm not sure about the cost though. I can't remember. I'll look it up for you though.

I found the wine info for you.

The Premium Package is $174.00 for the four night cruise.

The Classic Package is $111.00 for the four night cruise.

You get one bottle of wine each night with both packages. The only difference is the selection of wine you're able to choose from. Also, it does NOT include the 15% gratuity that they add on.

Awesome thanks! When Sandi and I went in '04, you had to buy refillable mugs for the soda. That is a great suggestion. Maybe I will pack a couple of my mugs to use.

We have done the wine packages before on a 4-night and a 7-night cruise. We loved using it on the 4 night cruise but on the 7 night, we felt so pressured to drink it. I don't know why the difference but it was. So this time we have opted to not do it. If we want wine we will get it then but if not, we don't have to feel so under the gun to drink it all. But if you really like wine, it is the way to go.
