Did I read on someones post yesterday about a Captains night or Formal Night?

I did not think this cruise had anything which we had to dress up for.

I had not planned for dressy clothes. Do I need to?:scared1:

In 2007 DVC did a formal night for the Legends Ball but in my opinion it was a bust. Other than that there really isn't a dress up night on the 4 night cruise. At least not like Formal/Semi-Formal night on the longer cruises. Of course you dress up for Palo dinner and some like to dress nicer for Triton's but no real formal night.

I hardly have time to keep up with facebook. I'm on it, not too often however, but I prefer the Dis. I have a hard enough time keeping up here! :lmao: Look how many posts we have had in the last couple of days! :scared1:

I'm to the point where I actually prefer Facebook to the DIS. For one thing I can keep in contact with all my friends not just my Disney loving friends. For another the DIS has really changed over the years and I'm just not as happy with it as I once was.

I'm gonna have to get off here soon cuz I am at work. But I hope to hang around a little longer. ;)

Hope you can to! THis is fun. I have to leave in a little while to go to the store. I am making chicken in the slow cooker today and I need some things
.

Congrats to Flo on the :bride:

Congrats to Chris on the pirate:

Is it the people who are on that has changed it for you? What is it that is not the same, because as a new user, I like it so far.

Congrats Flo and Chris!

It will! Then he will be himself.

In the meantime pray for me and his teachers. :) And, if you hear a little boy saying "no" on the cruise, most likely it is my DS. He might even say "no thank you" or "no ma'am". Sometimes he tries to be polite about it.

Well at least he is polite.:)

I am sure the teachers are used to it at that age or should I say as much as they can be used to it.

We are getting our haircut and ready for the cruise on Saturday. Have fun!

I can't wait! I let it grow longer during the summer so that I had enough to put it up in a ponytail while working oat the camp. I usually have a hat on to keep the sun out of my face while I guard, and being able to get it up off my neck really helps with the heat. But now, I want it gone - it's to bushy and heavy! :rotfl:

Thanks for the congrats everyone! Looks like I hung around just long enough. But now I have to go to work. :upsidedow

Talk to everyone later!

Just did that on Sunday at home - ah, the box o' color is a wonderful thing! :rotfl2:

It sure is!:)

Sue - I do the same keep my hair long enough during the summer to keep it off my neck. I am so hot when it is just hanging there. It is funny how you put it up and you get cooler.

It is an amazing difference! My only problem is that DH likes it to be long and I like it shorter because it's easier to take care of. I'm not a stand-in-front-of-the-mirror type of a gal, so wash and go is good for me. But then I get the sad face from DH. :sad1:

Sue I would say it more an overall attitude. I found this place to be a lot nicer and more wiliing to help in the past. Now I find that it is very competitve and about being "special". I don't do special. I am who I am. No better or no worse than anyone else. It isn't a terrible place but it isn't the DIS I found in 2000.

Good morning!

How is everyone today? Almost time for our trip! I never get tired of saying that we are getting closer to the cruise!!! :cool1:

I have been on Facebook for quite a while and enjoy that I can keep in touch with people from all over the world with it, people from my childhood even!
I am still so new here that I can't really tell about the competition, but it seems like a nice board, I can't compare it to Facebook, it's such a different format. Facebook doesn't take as long for me to see what everyone is up to ;)

Have a great tuesday! :yay:
Alex.

I have to agree!!! My greys/whites came in all of sudden when I had my 3rd baby...:confused3..I don't like colouring my hair, but not sure about having a full head of grey hair at 37???!!!
