One would think it would be greasy but it does not come out that way. I make it the normal way. I keep it on low for 6 to 8 hours depending on how big I make it. The only different thing I do is take a package of brown gravy and put that in so there is liquid. I put less water then what it says on the package.

Good to know, maybe I can try that before the cruise:cool1:

No not us, Do you?

We have our pictures on the Epcot walls.... I'd love to get them done again this year, since when they were done- it was only my hubby, me, and our daughter. The boys didn't exist then!! But I want to go to MK Saturday... not Epcot. :sad2: So, we won't be able to get them done.

It's fun to go there and see your pictures. I think my daughter was only three or something like that.

I do not have a brick there though- would have loved to do that, but I was in high school when they offered them, so I didn't have that kind of money sitting around! I think they were $250 each. the pics @ Epcot were mush less- I want to say like 30-40 each or something.

I have the Strawberry one. Witch one do you have?

Oh Dianne you do have to try it. Like carrie said the are the Best.

YEP!! It's all about the strawberry one!

in fact, we asked them what they put in them, and we can make the same ones at home now.... unfortunately, I think It's been about three years since the blender was out for anything fun like that!!

But I certainly will be stopping there Thursday night! the last few times I've been to disney I've been pregnant!! Thank goodness that is not the case now!! :scared1:

potatoes, peas, corn, bread , special chesse, donuts and white cake, poor thing can't have chocolate either...bummer:confused3

Poor kid!

That means no chicken or fish or any thing like that right?

Sorry but when it comes to proten I am not good on what it is in.

I love my slow cooker. I've really started using it semi- regularly this year. It is really so much easier. It's nice to get home and not have to cook dinner in the midst of chaos!

I get a lot of recipes for it at allrecipes .com they turn out great.

right you should see it when we go out. she won't eat salad, so its usually french fries and maybe some fruit, she won't eat pineapple.

They say she gets everything in a formula that she drinks everday, so I don't feel bad, when she dosen't seem to eat right.

If you don't mind me asking- why can't she have proteins? Allergies?

No, she was born missing a gene, which helps her get rid of protien. Her body does get rid of some, she is not an extreme case.

If she gets to much and her body does not get rid of it, she could be mentally chalenged. But she is very bright, they keep checks on her through blood testing

no, tried to get her to eat some the other night...she just put her nose up at them

I've made them into french fries, just like white potatoes, but then you put cinnamon and sugar on top while they are still warm - yummy!!

Oh. That is great that it is something that be kept under control and checked on a regular basis.

And it just let's her eat all of the yummy stuff.... minus chocolate I guess!

I'll have to try that with her.

The only magarine I can give her is Parkay. and I forgot to bring it to the resturant the other day. when she was eating a biscuit, its amazing how much she understands, what she can not eat.

you are very correct she can have all the sugar she wants and loves honey on bread.

It might be a nice change - I'm sure the limitations make eating a little boring at times! And isn't it so true, that even at that young age, they really do understand what is going on with themselves! :worship:

That sounds like something my hubby would love. I'm not a big sweet potato person, but I'd bet my kids would like these too!! Do you use a fryer? Or do you bake them?
