Flo, thanks for asking. For those that are not on facebook, I posted the other day about feeling like a kid with a new toy.
Just because I wanted to pass some time away, I stopped at a local car dealer to "just look around". Long story......ended up buying a Ford Escape Limited. I kept putting up high demands, and they kept okaying them.
It's smaller than my last car but has all the luxury extras in it and I enjoy driving it. Boy was Barbara surprised when I came home with a new car.
This is considered Sage green, but you can't see any green unless it's by a white car.

Congrats Ray, I hope you really enjoy your new ride..

Hi, everyone went to see the train today, it was awesome and I really can not wait to see the movie, its in 3D and they showed you how it was made, we also morfed our photos into characters in the movie, I have not yet recieved them by e-mail yet. Saw a sneak peak of the movie, its not to be released until November. I just can not waitpopcorn::popcorn::

I have three kids- Claire is 8, Christian is 2, and my youngest son (Cameron) is 1. I am almost thinking that I will need at least two outfits per day for the kids- and that is just the playing around stuff. And the diapers... and the wipes.... oh my! I may have ten suitcases! HA! I am trying really hard to potty train my two year old. We have officially started this process today! Wish me luck!!

Carrie

Good luck with potty training. I am trying to potty train my DS who is also 2 so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Also, thank you for asking the questions about the juice. That totally slipped my mind about what DS would drink when we are not at our meals.

Ask your room steward for a diaper genie and they will be happy to get one for the room for you.

DCL has year specific scarpbooks and kits. In addition you get a lot of "papers" from DVC that I've added to my scrapbooks. One thing I always do is get a second copy of the daily navigator. That way I have one to put in my scrapbook and one that I can write on etc.

They do have milk available at the 24 hour beverage station. I don't think they have juice. You can also order both milk and juice from room service at no charge.

There is a fridge in the room which is labeled a cooler. Some think it doesn't keep things cold enough but we've never had a problem. We usually take some cartons of milk from the buffet in the morning and put them in the cooler to enjoy later. I'll also grab one or two cereal bowls (the kind you just take the top off and add milk) to have a snack at some point.

Mary, thank you for the wonderful information. I did not even think to ask about a diaper genie. I figured they would not have it. And, thanks for shedding some light on the juice and milk.

pirate, too
Congrats on the pirate: and :bride:

Happy Birthday Sandi!

Just got bak from my company anniversary party. The company got us a celebrity suite at the Del Mar racetracks, so we got to see all the races in comfort, ate all day and lost alot of money on the horses. Overall, a very fun day.

Happy B-day to all the August babies, they are the best.

Member Gallery Update!

We have a new family added to the member gallery. Welcome to:

Michael (Merry Mousketeer) who is sailing with his wife Carol (Disney Enabler) and their friend Sandi (Lerella)

A link to the gallery can be found in post 1.

Alright, here's a silly question.
This will be the first time having a verandah on a cruise and we were wondering if there was anything that might prevent us from sleeping with the verandah door open, such as bugs, rules or any such thing.

The clock ticks closer and closer each day. Tick Tock! Tick Tock! It will be nice to meet all new members as well as the "seasoned" members we have met during prior cruises!:)
Annmarie

Happy Sunday everyone!!!

Thanks so much for all of the birthday wishes for Sandi! :thanks:

Well my sister Patty and the kids left an hour or so ago. We had a great weekend! Yesterday, it was just beautiful out and we spent the day up in the White Moutains. With all the rain, the water falls were awesome!

Button Update!

Ok so I spent the morning/early afternoon updating the spreadsheet for buttons. This will also be the sheet I send to Linda for the mini navigator.

Now it is your turn. A link to the Excel worksheet is on the main web page (right about the link to the member gallery). Link to the main page is on post 1.

Look over your info and make sure I have it all typed in.

You have until Friday August 7th to review and if you have any changes send them to me. If you don't have any changes you don't need to do anything.

Also for those who haven't sent in info the button cut-off is Wednesday August 12th. No request for buttons will be taken after that date, but we will have a few blanks available at the meet.

Ok! Any one that has been on a member cruise.

Is the sail away party any different then a normal 4 day cruise?

Thanks

Take care
