Nice to visit here again today!

Our plans for the weekend involve blueberry picking, and maybe some priming..trying to get rid of all the blah beige on the walls of our house here. We moved in last year and every wall is the same beige/taupe..not cheerful or interesting enough for us :)

I just finished watching the preview for Alice in Wonderland with Johnny Depp. I can't wait to see it! One of my favourite stories is Alice in Wonderland (the original one) and I just love Johnny...(my husband knows).

Here is a link in case you are interested : Alice in Wonderland

Have a great weekend everyone! :flower3:

Hi Carrie!

I am traveling with 3 kids too! I will be watching for the reply to your message!

How old are your kids?

I haven't been on here for a long time, but catching up now :)

I have three kids- Claire is 8, Christian is 2, and my youngest son (Cameron) is 1. I am almost thinking that I will need at least two outfits per day for the kids- and that is just the playing around stuff. And the diapers... and the wipes.... oh my! I may have ten suitcases! HA! I am trying really hard to potty train my two year old. We have officially started this process today! Wish me luck!!

Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah Tip Of The Day

An extra tip for scrapbookers. The front of these tags feature different characters. Tags of all colors are available at a table by guest services. So stop on by and you can pick up some cute tags for your scrapbook.

Speaking of scrapping- I am hoping that there are plenty of scrapbook items available to purchase on the cruise... perhaps a book etc? does anyone know?I know I have not seen the cruise stuff at the Downtoen Disney store- so I am hoping they have it on the boat?!

Carrie,

If you look at DCL they have what they have some one they deal with and it can be delivered to the ship and you don't have to take it with you. It is under Planning Center and is called Gifts & Amenities. Don't know how expensive they are .

take care

I have a question- my little guys drink milk and juice all of the time. I know there is some beverage station on deck 9- is that pop only? Or is there a place that I can get milk and juice for them on a regular basis?

One more question- is there a fridge in the rooms on board?

Thanks!!
Carrie

Ask your room steward for a diaper genie and they will be happy to get one for the room for you.

DCL has year specific scarpbooks and kits. In addition you get a lot of "papers" from DVC that I've added to my scrapbooks. One thing I always do is get a second copy of the daily navigator. That way I have one to put in my scrapbook and one that I can write on etc.

They do have milk available at the 24 hour beverage station. I don't think they have juice. You can also order both milk and juice from room service at no charge.

There is a fridge in the room which is labeled a cooler. Some think it doesn't keep things cold enough but we've never had a problem. We usually take some cartons of milk from the buffet in the morning and put them in the cooler to enjoy later. I'll also grab one or two cereal bowls (the kind you just take the top off and add milk) to have a snack at some point.

I don't know about purchasing, but when we went last time in 2003 I collected every piece of paper for our travel scrapbook! There used to be stationary in the cabins, the map of Castaway Cay, the personal navigator, luggage tags, anything really! It doesn't take a lot of room to pack it and you can decide what to use when you get home. My kids have always enjoyed playing with their room cards too, they call them their credit cards!

My kids are 5, 10, and 12.

:banana::banana:GOOD LUCK TO YOUR SON!!!:banana::banana:

I LOVE THE IOWA STATE FAIR! We are originally from Sterling, IL. My best friend's daughters both live in Des Moines! AND my DH's nephew lives in Cedar Rapids.

Thanks Connie, but I have two girls. No boys here, except for DH. All pets are female too.

And the Iowa State Fair starts in like 13 days! It is great fun but we haven't been there is several years. Last time we were there I think Becca was 7 or 8 and her girl scout wood carving won a ribbon. She is 16 now. We go to Des Moines all the time shopping-it is an hour away from where we live-and I have family that lives in Cedar Rapids-2 hours away.

Thanks again for the good wishes. She has left to go practice already. I hope she does well! :flower3:

Hello everyone. TGIF and I repeat TGIF I am so happy that the weekend is here. Now, I will have time to relax, hopefully. I spent this morning getting two new tires another unexpected purchase for the car but much needed so I will not complain.

Today at work was pretty hectic. Three co-workers are on vacation so I have to deal with any emergencies that come up and today two emergencies came up. One almost required me to try to be in two places at once. But, it all worked out in the end.

I need a vacation! The cruise can't get here soon enough. I still have to do my FE gifts and pack but I'm hoping to get started soon. We have a little over 40 days right. :)

Hey Everybody! Happy Friday! Just home from camp - had to wait to leave until the tornado (supposed) went through!!

I haven't turned on the TV yet to see where it actually hit but the buzz was that it was sited in Tabernacle, but possibly the other side of town. DH is mad - he wanted to see one in person. But that is no disrespect to anyone who has lived through one - just curiousity!
