Some people on last year's thread had a sicth sense for knowing when it was & time. It was fun trying to type fast to get the elusive & . It was especially fun during our sail away parties right before our cruise. We have to start that up as time gets closer if people are interested.

Snow is still falling?!?! Winter will soon be over and before we know it it will be Spring, then Summer, then our CRUISE! For some (I won't mention any names - Chris) they will be at WDW in less than two weeks.

I also forgot to mention in my previous post that I am looking forward to seeing what the gifts will be.

I did not know there was an International Talk Like a Pirate Day. You will really like pirate night. I cannot wait to see how you will dress up for it.

Oh yeah me too!!! I love the pictures. I will have to show DH the food ones! I have been trying to find just the right costume and nothing is blowing my mind. I may wind up doing a Frankencostume for my pirate outfit and piece together things I like from different pirate costumes. Neither did I. I actually found out one day after watching one of the POC movies and was on the phone with a girlfriend and somehow we just started using "pirate lingo" This continued on in email exchanges and I happened to do a search trying to find "piratey phrases and words" and that's when I found out about Talk Like A Pirate Day. It's very comforting to know that there are plenty of adults who still enjoy being silly from time to time Ever since the POC movies I have hopelessly been crushing on Cpt. Jack Sparrow I even named one of my showdogs after him Here's a picture of him at 7 months old. He is Disney's (dog in my siggie) grandson. I know it isn't cruise related so I hope it is ok to share. If not let me know and I'll stay on topic

FRIENDS OF MINE WE AT WDW IN OCT. WHEN THEY WERE AT THE PIRATES ATTRACTION THE CAPT JACK SPARROW OUTSIDE THAT DAY WAS JOHNNY DEPP, THEY MET HIM. THEY WERE TOLD THAT 5 DAYS A YEAR IN HIS CONTRACT WITH DISNEY HE SHOWS UP TO DO THAT. BUT THEY KEEP THOSE DAYS A SECRET. IM JUST PASSING ON WHAT THEY TOLD ME. SO IF THE CAPT JACK AT MK SEEMS EXTREMELY GOOD MAYBE ITS JOHNNY DEPP.
TERRIE YOU CAN GET AN ANNUAL PASS AND VISIT MK EVERYDAY

Now there's something that would render me totally speechless (not easy to do) and I'd need to keep my We have annual passes and renew them every year and we usually go anywhere between 4-5 times. There's my retirement dream. Move three hours north to Central FL get a job at WDW so I can be there all the time

Snow is still falling?!?! Winter will soon be over and before we know it it will be Spring, then Summer, then our CRUISE! For some (I won't mention any names - Chris) they will be at WDW in less than two weeks.

We are getting so excited. Need to go to Wal-mart today to get some more stuff. And we are trying to come up with ideas for foods that travel well and you can eat on the road. Anybody got any ideas?

When we traveled from MD to FL last year, we had a collapsible cooler filled with frozen & unfrozen juice boxes and water and unfrozen soda. For snacks, we had pretzels, Fiber one bars, raisins, individual pacets of cookies, fruit snacks and grapes. In the cooler with the drinks went sandwiches, carrots, and celery sticks. We kept the cooler and the snacks in the car with us. We did stop for breakfast. Weh we stopped for gas we did not need to purchase any snacks or drinks because we already had them which meant less time at the gas station.

Good Morning!!! DH went to get the paper this AM and in our mail box was a little booklet from the cuise line!!! It had our names on the front and FAQs and such - I know a little thing BUT I was so excited!!!! It just helps me prepare more for our cruise!!!

I love getting mail from Disney, especially if it is pertaining to my upcoming trip. Ahh, the simple pleasures in life.

Last year we did not purchase trip insurance. This year we will be. The prices offered through Travel Guard (I believe) for DVC members are not that bad. For our 3 staterooms it was alittle over $400. Now, truthfully, I do not know if that is good or bad since we rarely purchase trip insurance but for what it covers it seems good to me. We decided to purchase trip insurance mainly because our parents want it. I always try to think good thoughts but you never know. Perusing these boards makes me realize anything can happen.

I am supposed to be on my way to church now but the rest of my family is not cooperating. Last night or should I say early this morning I heard this little voice saying "Mommy", "Mommy come here." When I did not respond it got louder and louder. I finally told DS to go to bed since I knew nothing was wrong. He has been waking up off and on again so we put a gate up at his door so he would not come in our room and scare us half to death. Now, he wakes up, stands by the gate, and summons us. He did go back to bed but woke up again a little before 7:00 a.m. So, I went to get him since it was time for me to get up. I got in the shower while DH was supposed to be watching him. When I got out of the shower they were both in the bed asleep. DH did not even know DS was in the bed. DH did not even know he was supposed to be watching him. He was just on auto pilot when he responded to my request. I cannot blame DH. He has been coming home from work and staying up late to work on his homework. He & I both will be glad when his classes are over.
