Greetings new Dis Friends happy to read you. We are planning alot of fun for Sept 8th trip. Ask around or read the past few pages.

What a long day but one closer to the trip. Hour by hour day by day we inch closer to our time to get away.
Have a Disney Happy week all. :disrocks:

Hey all, welcome all new comers! Great to have you here. Well again I will be quiet with no posts after tonight. I leave tomorrow for Los Angeles for meetings with my work, then on Friday it's off to Disneyland Friday, Saturday for the POTC 3 Premier, and Sunday Disneyland. I will be back to the boards on Monday. I hope this week goes fast to get me to Saturday for the premier. I promise to take lots of pictures, and yes I will post them for you all to see. Have a wonderful week everyone, talk to you all very soon. Lois*** The breakfast and lunch is all arranged so go ahead and keep adding any newcomers for breakfast and lunch to your lists, I will update DCL as we approach the final week before the cruise. Thanks for keeping the lists!

Wow -

I am amazed. I have been keeping track of posts on another website (a whopping 50 somehting posts). Thanks to Bill for sharing this site.

My name is Dennis, and my girlfriend Donita and I will be joining the cruise. My brother Dan posted earlier (DnJLaw777). We will be a group of 8, his family of 4, the 2 of us along with our mother Pat and her friend Donna.

This will be our 3rd Disney Cruise, our 7th overall. We just returned from a 10 night Panama Canal Cruise on the Coral Princess. I have been counting the days since 220. Needless to say, I am a big kid at heart, really do think that the Disney line is wonderful.

I have not had the time (need to allocate around 3 hours) to read all the posts. I am very glad that this is an active site.

Donita and I live in Orlando, about 50 minutes from the port. If assistance or suggestions are needed on local information, please feel free to ask.

My screenname might give away who I work for, I too am a huge NASCAR fan. I have met our last 2 drivers, let's go Jeff (Burton).

Hope all is well.

Firstly, what took you so long to find us?

Second one is easy. Verizon Wireless of course.:rotfl2:

OK it wasn't that funny.:goodvibes

Have a great trip Tris! We are heading to San Diego & Disneyland next month. Two Disney fixes for us this year!

Chris & Janet

Thank you so much. You also have a great trip,
A taste of Disney on both sides of the U.S. You will have a great time. Ooo you'll have to let me know how San Diego is. I haven't been there in like 12 years. Lot's changed I bet. Talk to you all soon.

Are you talking about the 07 or 08 repo? If you did the 07 that would be awesome. 14 days on the boat, 7 days at WDW and then 7 more days on the boat. You would need to talk almost 30 days off. I don't know that I could go back. Man I need to win powerball.

Lois, he's talking about the 07 westbound repo from Barcelona  I would love to, but I don't want to have to sell my kidney later to pay my mortgage. :lmao: We are already booked for the May08 panama canal repo cruise. We wanted so badly to go on the first one and dd was graduating from HS so of course we couldn't miss that! So its kind of a do over for us. I know I don't want to be of work that long. Too hard to go back. And considering I gain weight on all Disney vacations, I probley shouldn't go for a whole month or I'll blow up!popcorn:: popcorn:: popcorn:: popcorn::

Greetings and Salutations all newcomers, glad to have ya! :thumbsup2 And to those who asked about drinking...........NO, Never, not ME!!!!! I'll be sailing with my MIL, grandparents, dh, and dd boyfriend- I'll need a stiff drink day 1, 8am! Not really, but we like to knock back a few!:dance3:

Welcome newbies! We're glad to have you. :cool1:

Yes, it's true for all you newbies, I am organizing a pub crawl in Key West. Somewhere a few pages back there's a list of bars. Times and details haven't been worked out yet.

TinkerbellTris - have a great trip to DL and the POTC premiere! You are so lucky! :woohoo: Take lots of pics!

To All-

It is a warm 87 here in Orlando today. Chance of showers, we are in dire need of some rain. I have had to adjust the sprinkler system (against the wishes of the water authority) to run more often.

I visited the Contemporary Hotel today, we have a cell site on the roof. I have to walk through the kitchen of the Califonia Grill to gain access. One of the nicest smelling pieces of property that we own. It put me in the mood for some contemporary food, go figure.

This will be our 3rd Disney Cruise, but our first with children involved. My brother and his family are traveling with us, some questions have come up that I do not know the answer to.

My neice is 3, my nephew is 2. They both require car seats. How does it work on shore exscursions with regards to car seats? Does the tour operator provide them, or do we need to bring our own. Another question is strollers. I swear that I am not going senile (at age 37), but I don't recall seeing a lot of strollers on the ship.

It is funny what questions come up when traveling with different people. Our first Disney cruise with our friends, castmembers. They had the ship all figured out. We did adult activities, hardly noticed the children. We took my parents 2 years ago, we acted as the tour guides.

I figure that with the plethora of experience on the board, we can get these questions answered quite quickly.

On a tangent - Who else wishes that Disney would have built their ship so that consecutive balconies could be opened to form a larger one? We were on Diamond Princess last year, it was a great treat. Perhaps the new ships will have this feature.

Hope all is well -

Morning all, just checking in, bumping, etc. I was slumping home from a long and difficult day at work the other day and when I walked up to my front door I noticed a big package from DCL sticking out of my mailbox. I smiled immediately and my whole mood was lightened. That's the power of the magic!

Turned out it was just a reminder of when to pay my final payment and a book about shore excursions which I already had, but still, who doesn't love getting DCL mail? ;) I know that when I start getting regular DCL mailings it really starts to feel real to me!

I want to know where mine is!!!! We paid of the cruise part of our vacation yesterday. Now I need to pay off the WDW part of this trip. I am so excited I can't stand it. But off to work I go. Day after day after Day!!!

If folks will PM me with their shore excusions I will post a list of who is doing what when. Please remember to give me the time because some of the excusions have more than one start time. Lois
