I was reading the thread for the 9/15 Eastern cruise & I saw a few familiar names from this thread. So who all is doing a back to back? Not that I'm jealous.

We are!! It will be our fifth and sixth cruise with DCL but our first back to back.

We are doing the week before at Disney World and then the cruise, does that count?

We will be at Disney World the 2nd through the 8th of September as well, then we are doing the B2B . We are celebrating our 20th anniverary. We wanted to do it up big.

We are DVC members. The plan so far is Beach Club Villas from Sept 4th & 3 nights at Vero Beach after the cruise. It is so cold in NY tonight that I wish we were there now.

I am just joining this thread and the DISboards for the first time. My husband and I will be cruising with stina and hannacanna who have already posted on this thread. This cruise will be our very first cruise ever!

Is it September yet?

Glad to have you join us . Can't wait to get on board the Magic once again . What are you thinking about for shore excursion ? Anyone gone to Tulum in the past and can give me a review . It is high priced and I am not sure it is going to be worth it. Another issue which concerns me is that is the only thing there will be time for if it really is a seven hour excursion. I have never gone on the western before and am not sure what will be the best activities . We are also traveling with Twin Princesses, my sister and her daughters, who will be 9 years old. I want they to have a good time as well. Are there any past cruiser who can offer up some advise. Lois

Hi Lois,
We did Tulum in 2004 and loved it! Yeah it was a long trip but still had time to do the town too! Tulum has a lunch included a real SubWay,a drink and chips.
The area has alot of iguannas! Some Very big but they sit very still for their photo op's! Very cool. And if you want to walk down to the beach for a swim ..you can, just wear your swim suit. There was no showers there you can clean up after your swim, that's why I didnt go down to the beach. but isn't that what the pools on the ship for??

Thanks for the info. It sounds like something I will want to do. Yes we are doing the same B2B . The only difference I think is you have an extra 7 days . We are doing 6 days at WDW before we get on the magic. My sister and her twins (DD9) will be joining us for the western. As well as two of our friends from KC. It is an anniversay cruise . I am really excited about it . Lois

I bet everyone thought I and Pretty in Tink had packed our bags and booked another cruise, well that's not happening. PIT has been having computer problems and they are back on the road. I have been busy at work, I've been keeping up with all the post, but have not had time to reply. Well, work is slowing down, so I will be posting ALOT MORE. We have been talking with Kevin and Cyndi (PrettyinTink) on a reg. basis, in fact, we are going to WDW in June with them to help celebrate Cyndi's B'day.

Checking in from a WIFI hotspot! My #$%^#^ computer is crappin out on me. I have a Cingular internet card and the drive the card goes in is no longer working So now I can only post at WiFi hotspots, and as soon as I turn this CrapTop into CompUSA for fixin' I will be at the mercy of the computer fixers to get me back to posting. Oh well Now I'm surfing the DIS while doing laundry in a truck stop. What a combination!

As KBorn said, we are headed to WDW in June for my B'day! I am SO excited as this will be the first time I will be staying at the GF. I look at my signature at all my tickers and feel blessed, and at the same time INSANE. We love us some Disney!!!
