Fish extenders are ok.
I have never had a fish extender.....do we make a loop to slip over the fish? Or how does it attach to the fish?
NO GLUE or TAPE allowed. Magnetic signs are fine.

A loop of twine or fishing line will work! :thumbsup2

Here's ours from the last cruise ...

I can't believe how long this thread is!:surfweb: I was posting in the beginning, on the first few pages, but it was kind of slow and life got in the way. I checked recently to see if anyone else had posted and what a shock!:scared1: It took me forever to get caught up!

I love how eveyone's getting so excited! It's contagious! I pm'd my info for the separate "Secret Santa" dealio, but here's a re-cap:

me (Andrea, 29) and son (Devin, 9) in 6538
mom and dad in 6536
sis in 6539

mom, dad, son and I cruised Western last April and had a blast! We booked while on board for the same trip this year, but then we got the bills,, so we pushed it back to December. We thought it would be nice when it was cooler and with the ship decorated. I'm glad now, because if it had been in April, it would be over already! But we still have it to look forward to.:thumbsup2

I love the fish hanger idea! There was nothing like that on our last cruise, but we will definitely be participating this year. And I really want to make a door sign. I knew about them on the last cruise, but didn't have enough time to make one. Will make time this year.;)

Looking forward to getting to know everyone over the upcoming months...:grouphug:

WoW your door was Great!!! :thumbsup2
I am sooo going to go ALL out so this will be my first time. I normally just put a few lime green Mickey Head paint samples that I borrowed from the Home Depot ;) to our door. But This cruise is Super Special and deserves so much more. :woohoo:

For those of you (Mrs Mork and others) who cruised in December last year.....were you still able to buy dated things or were the out because the year was ending? I always buy the dated (2007) Disney photo albums and hope they will still have some in December. Was this a problem? I know, I know, it is over seven months away and already I am worried.

We have sailed in Dec a few times and yes they still have the dated things for the current year and the good news.......THEY ARE HALF PRICE!! :woohoo: :woohoo: They have had the new years dated stuff on the shelf and the current year stuff on sale.

We are spending a few days on the Oregon Coast enjoying our new motorhome. :goodvibes DrHug is working over here for 3 days, my mom (81 years old) and I are.....playing, doing nothing, doing just whatever we want! :yay: :woohoo:

We thought the bedroom of the MH reminded us of our staterooms on the ship so put the ship's clock we bought on our first cruise in here. We had never had a place that it "fit" and this was perfect. So, we went from there and we now have a 30 X 13 photo of the A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes photo that hangs above the bed on the ship on the bedroom wall AND DrHug ordered air horns that are programable and put the DCL ship's horn on it. Too totally cool to play that horn as we take off! :cool1: Silly kids! :lmao:

There were still some dated items for sale and the best thing was that they were beginning to discount them. :thumbsup2

That sounds so great! We need pictures.
Our son moved out earlier this year (finally!) and his room is becoming our new Mickey room. (We lost our old Mickey room when our daughter moved back home). I found Mickey border on-line. Looking for Mickey curtains. I can't wait to hang all our framed Mickey/cruise stuff back up when the walls are ready. We are all just big kids, repeat after me "I will never grow up."
We have the ship clock, too.

Thanks everyone for the answers regarding attaching our stocking to our fish and also the 2007 photo albums. I can't wait to cruise but I hate to wish summer away. :cool2:

I'm almost wishing my Sept DCL away  Just so I can get to the Dec DCL quicker :sad2: Ok well maybe not exactlyyy wishing it away. I just know the December one will br alot more fun!!

:yay: Hello Y'all!
DH was looking at the internet on his phone the other day and I heard a gasp. I thought it was something "really" terrible. I asked him, "What is wrong?" and he gave me the hand like hold on I am still reading. :rolleyes1 Finally, when he is done reading he gave me the bad news. . . no more signs on the stateroom doors.:sad2: I honestly thought someone had died from the gasp he let out. It was pretty funny. :rotfl: Luckily, I read yesterday that signs are still allowed using magnets or magnetic paper. I used magnetic tape last time and it worked out great. So, that is what I plan to do on our signs for the December cruise. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it. " - Jennifer

I was gasping too when I read no more door decorations! I was wondering how I would ever find my stateroom! :lmao: I was very relieved when I read that we can continue to have the magnetic stuff. Whew!!

During our November 2006 cruise, I purchased a 2006 DCL Scrapbook and extra scrapbook pages on clearance for 50% off. I am hoping to do the same during our December cruise. It worked out great getting everything I was going to purchase anyway on sale. :cool1:
