I hope so but I do have two WDW trips between now and then. One starts this Wednesday!

So jealous! Dennis so wants to do another Disney trip or two, but alas. ..I keep telling him we have to FOCUS on getting the house ready to sell so that we can retire and do even more Disney! Focus, focus!

We are not sure either. I think we will do the Butterfly Farm on St. Marteen so that we can take the 2 babies. I really want to do Trunk Bay on St John, which means the kids (neice and nephew) will just have to take care of their own babies that day! We did the St John Island tour last trip and oh, I really want to spend some time at Trunk Bay, or maybe Cinnamon Bay, or no wait, Megan's Bay. Oh, we are just going to have to book another couple of cruises!

I was just looking at Trunk Bay as well, both through DCL and on our own. I thought the prices between the options were very comparable. I also want to do the Skyride, not sure if there's time to do both - I'm thinking there won't be.

Hi, fellow cruisers!

We'll be joining you! (Nothing like a last minute decision, right?) This will be our seventh cruise, all on DCL. The others have all been four-nighters on Wonder, including back-to-back four nights for Thanksgiving, 2005.

As it stands now, we'll be just two 50+ adults, I'm Beth and DH is Jim, although I'm still trying to convince my DS, DDIL and granddaughter to cruise, too.

We'll be celebrating our 35th anniversary (the actual date is Dec. 30, but we can't get away at that time).

I tried reading back through this thread, but I'm at work right now and I really should be doing other stuff, so I'll have to read some more when I get home to find out who else is cruising and what's going on. I did see that there's talk of a meet on 12/8 at some time, some place! I guess I'll need a few more details.

So now I'm going to get my countdown into my sig, and start thinking about all the cruise details. We may be staying at WDW the night before, but we may also spend a few days in Jacksonville with my brother and then have him drive us down to the port in the morning.

The Skyride is right by the dock. You can do that in an hour or less and have a great view of St Thomas.

Anyone else going to MVMCP(Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party) at the Magic Kingdom? We are going to WDW before the cruise. So, I purchased our tickets yesterday for December 4th. Also, I made all our ADR this morning. I am a lot more organized this trip than our last.

Initially, we were going to do Coral World - St. Thomas on our own by taking a taxi. However, after reading other threads on the slow traffic in St. Thomas and how the taxis wait until they are FULL, we have opted to just do the excursion through DCL. It looks like a very "family-friendly" excursion. Now on St. Maarten, Bill and I plan to explore the island sans-children!
I am looking forward to that!!!!!!!!

Seriously though, how would you plan it? Do the ST John Trunk Bay (through Disney Cruise) and then do the Skyride after? I'm assuming the Trunk Bay excursion leaves at a set time...

That sounds like fun. For St Maarten, my only plan is to purchase some nice cigars - types that aren't available in the US.
